Just mixed reviews from what I’ve seen. People are quite reluctant to modify them while in warranty too. Now that there are plenty of Jimny’s outside of the 5yr warranty I’d say we’ll start to see more and more engine mods.
Hi all, after some info. I’m looking at buying the 5 door XL ,so chatting to the dealer in the yard I was looking at the chiffon ivory,he happened to mention this was “about $700” more with the black roof compared to the Jungle Green ,no black roof, does this sound correct or was he already jacking up the price. I can see nowhere were it mentioned this in any reviews. Cheers guys.
The only upgrades are just because of the extension they’re not relevant to the performance of the Jimny. When I say no significant upgrades I’m talking about features :)
Looking forward to seeing how people modify these!
Great no nonsense review - great work
Thank you mate!!
Suzuki should do a utility version and also a pick up version just like the Land Rover defenders 🤙🏻great review 🤙🏻
For sure!! Similar to the grenadier, they just released a Ute too!
Thanks for the support mate!
That would be sweet, might need some more power though!
Great review James! 😄
Thank you Malin!!
Also, why do you not think there are many reliable forced induction options? I have heard pretty good things regarding the AVO and Greddy turbo kits.

Can’t wait!

Yeah that’s about right! Two tone paint has always cost more. It’s an extra step in the manufacturing process :)
@@jimmys_jimny cheers,thanks for the reply
There are some updates on the mechanical side, one of them was the driveshaft I think?
Longer rear driveshaft, fuel lines, brake lines, front ventilated disc brakes, and not much more

Is this same as the 5 door Jimmy that's launched in india ? Same length or different?
This would be the exact same mate, as it’s built in India and imported to Australia
Any idea when the XL being ANCAP tested?
I don’t, sorry! I’d say it’ll get the same 3 star that the current model has though. Don’t think there was any real improvements in safety.
Really great review!!
Glad you liked it!
It gets ADAS outside of India (the market which supposedly, according to Suzuki, it was developed for?) damn 😂😂
It’s so weird, some regions get speed camera recognition with the same tech, but we don’t 🤨
a baby hummer... so cute
Ahah basically! Must easier to drive and park I’d say 😅😂
Dude! Where can I get the same Nudge Bar???
Hey mate. It’s a Suzuki media vehicle so I would think it’s just genuine Suzuki :)
Thanks

Траурка.
I wouldn’t put children in this
Why?!
I’d be inclined to agree, but I’m sure there are also worse cars haha
Children mess up the car
