Sincerely hope nobody does the performance upgrade without addressing suspension, wheels, tyres and brakes... That kind of power in such an unstable vehicle from stock is not safe.
Agreed, was thinking the same thing, also that Suzuki engine is common on the Suzuki range and some Toyotas too, so more people myt get tempted to do it on the likes of the Baleno.
Lekker rig and it will kill off-road. The suspension and turbo is surely to address the issues I think this vehicle has. But man! The standard suspension on the 3-door is super soft and why most people upgrade on this. The 5-door standard suspension is definitely better and it drives better due to the longer wheel base.
Suzuki Automotive 🇯🇵 gotta learn to #improve the #Jimny and #GrandVitara from you. Your size of tyres are the appropriate ones for off-road use not the #crossover_grade tyres that come on default.

The build quality of the Japan built Jimnys is not that good, l have never seen a modern vehicle rust so quickly and extensively but that could be due to the English weather, but also the paint finish is very poor especially on the underside and in the engine bay.
