There's no reason to make video all the time when you know that u gonna have a professional live capture from a tv program cameras. Even if it wasn't, just stay there with heart and soul and enjoy the live with your eyes and ears!
If I can capture my own experience through my lens it's a memory that lasts longer than someones professional vision as good as may be. I'm totally immersed in the performance, only glancing at the phone to make sure it's aimed. Making your own stuff is fun!🙂
Dan's guitar choices: Supro Martinique Deluxe (Howlin' For You); Fender Jazzmaster (Beautiful People); Ibanez SG Custom (Gold On The Ceiling); back to the Jazzmaster (This is Nowhere); still with the Jazzmaster (On The Game); Guild S-200 Thunderbird (Lonely Boy).
When I picture a musician in the truest sense of the word it's Dan Auerbach. Even if Dan never became a rich and famous musician he would still be playing in clubs and bars every night.
WIll never forget when i saw them in 2006 at a local bar in a small town called Cairns in tropical north QLD, Australia. There must have been 40 people there
I was just thinking about the time I saw them in 2006 at free concert sponsored by Camel Cigarettes in Detroit at a venue called the Majestic Theater. There couldn’t have been more than 300 people there. They’ve come far
Incredible. Love this band so much. This new album is out of this world. They are more than one colour KEYS...they are a multi coloured rainbow of goodness to me. God bless you Dan and Patrick. You are the best.
For those of you that have the opportunity see an amazing band live in an intimate setting like this, if you're watching the show through your phone, I almost feel sorry for you. If you can't experience something special without documenting it and sharing it on social media, then you aren't truly present for the experience and are missing out.
It's crazy how much feel they put on their old songs... they are clearly dragging/rushing intentionally and yet they're still perfectly in sync... The amount of work this takes, just wow!
As someone who went to their Turn Blue and Dropout Boogie concerts, I was hella disappointed when they only played THREE songs from their respective new albums. They played great, but I’m tired of hearing the hits. They have so many awesome deep cuts! I can understand if they don’t play the ones with Beck or the rappers, but at least Please Me, Fever Tree, etc. has to be up there for consideration.
@@shawnmcmahon3042you could say the same about Led Zeppelin, but they never sold out to the point of playing the hits only. I’ve seen Black Keys a bunch but Turn Blue tour will be my last. The album was great but they would rather sell out arenas than show their true roots. I was stoked on Delta Kream, until I saw the set lists for the tour 😐
These guys play with so much swagger; it's unrivaled these days. Glad to see a return to form on the new album with some excellent Black Keys spice and spunk.
I've watched a million DEEP interviews with these guys for years...first time listening to them....FANTASTIC! The way Rock N Roll should be...simple and to the point!
Thats Zach Gabbard and his bro Andy on guitar, a deadly duo in their own right. If you arent familair with them...Look them up, you wont be disappointed.
For everyone hating on people recording, I've been to +50 concerts and have almost every single one recorded and store in my archives. The moment is priceless but the physical copy of the memory is better in my book.
I think this is the best sound I've heard from Patrick. If anyone has ever seen another live setting where drums sound as good as this, let me know please.
For shows like this they should send raw video out to everyone that was there immediately after the show so that noone has the need to record it themselves
Everybody needs their likes on social media to feel some purpose in life and want people to like them .that's why you get so many people filming with their phones. Like look I was here at this event aren't I so cool ? A very small percentage film because they want to watch it later and remember the experience.
Cara o que eu vou juntar de grana esse ano pra tentar ver um show desses caras o ano que vem não é brincadeira! não vou viver uma vida sem ver um show deles. sou fã demais.
Imagine getting to see the Black Keys in such an intimate venue and watching it behind a phone screen...
With professional cameras all around you, capturing you on your cell phone for all eternity…😂
Gotta repost it for clicks and likes!

Exactly, who they gonna show the video to, I wouldn’t be interested in watching on their phone.
Seriously! I promise you, nobody will ever want to watch the crappy cell phone video you took.
I mean, just take a few pics and short clips even.. spending 5% of the time is ok.. 100% of the time is super weird.

"Beautiful People (Stay High)" sounds like it was specifically made for a fast food commercial lol
… and if you play it on 2x speed then it’s like a car commercial.
@@benedekgabor. I just wrote the same comment. Fast food, groceries, cars, insurance, can be used for anything.

This mix is amazing! Major props to the sound engineer.
On The Game is too good
Wrote with the genius of Noel Gallagher, amazing collaborations
its already grown on me yeh
Thats oasis for u
It is such an anthem, long live Noel Gallagher
They put they heart on this song
Better live than in the studio
Sounds more bluesy live, sounds more pop oriented in the studio.
They sound better live then they do on record. One of the few bands that sounds better live.
That’s the mark of a great band

I totally agree... lean in to the experience. No phone... just music

That slide guitar on "Howlin For You" sounds really good.
Still my favorite album from them.
OMG that dead crowd with their phones...
Not to mention that is a show being filmed from every possible angle and in good quality...Common people
I was there. It wasn't dead at all. It was only about 200 people and great energy. The phones were not really out that much.

First vampire weekend and now this guys,!
We are sooooooooooo back!❤
Honestly probably my favorite band of all time. To consistently put out absolute bangers for over twenty years
For me, too. Yes.
I want to hit the thumbs up every time a new song starts but you only can once
awesome! kind of sad that everyone just holds up their phone and doesn't just enjoy a god dang show
lots of keys open lots of doors . love their all-school blues
Салют гайс! Это банда, заслуживает мощного лайка!!! Профессионально !!! Рок жив !!!
I have been listening to Black keys for over a decade, and it still fills the day ❤️ 🤘
These guy's practically raised me
I was there! The set was amazing. Can't wait to see them at the Forum & Acrisure! Love the BLACK KEYS!!!

I’m really jealous
Amazing Dan and Patrick. The drums and his voice are great in Gold on the ceiling
Fantastic set of classics and new tracks.
Saw them last night in Paris and the world is a better place now
Same. Amen!
Lonely Boy is great. I like Dan's old Guild.
If you have the chance to see them live do take it you won't regret it.
Imagine if a band with a bunch of hits, had the balls to play an all new set from their most current record. That would be really crazy.

Yep they are in a tiny venue and still play their radio hits with 6 frickin people on stage! I don’t think I’ll ever see them live again unfortunately
@@Needawholepailofwaterwell yea a big percentage of their hits aren’t even originals. Covers from old blues artists or largely ‘sampled’ from them
