There's no reason to make video all the time when you know that u gonna have a professional live capture from a tv program cameras. Even if it wasn't, just stay there with heart and soul and enjoy the live with your eyes and ears!

Seriously! I promise you, nobody will ever want to watch the crappy cell phone video you took.
I mean, just take a few pics and short clips even.. spending 5% of the time is ok.. 100% of the time is super weird.
If I can capture my own experience through my lens it's a memory that lasts longer than someones professional vision as good as may be. I'm totally immersed in the performance, only glancing at the phone to make sure it's aimed. Making your own stuff is fun!🙂

For those of you that have the opportunity see an amazing band live in an intimate setting like this, if you're watching the show through your phone, I almost feel sorry for you. If you can't experience something special without documenting it and sharing it on social media, then you aren't truly present for the experience and are missing out.

WIll never forget when i saw them in 2006 at a local bar in a small town called Cairns in tropical north QLD, Australia. There must have been 40 people there
I was just thinking about the time I saw them in 2006 at free concert sponsored by Camel Cigarettes in Detroit at a venue called the Majestic Theater. There couldn’t have been more than 300 people there. They’ve come far

I was there. It wasn't dead at all. It was only about 200 people and great energy. The phones were not really out that much.

When I picture a musician in the truest sense of the word it's Dan Auerbach. Even if Dan never became a rich and famous musician he would still be playing in clubs and bars every night.
It's crazy how much feel they put on their old songs... they are clearly dragging/rushing intentionally and yet they're still perfectly in sync... The amount of work this takes, just wow!

Imagine if a band with a bunch of hits, had the balls to play an all new set from their most current record. That would be really crazy.
As someone who went to their Turn Blue and Dropout Boogie concerts, I was hella disappointed when they only played THREE songs from their respective new albums. They played great, but I’m tired of hearing the hits. They have so many awesome deep cuts!
I can understand if they don’t play the ones with Beck or the rappers, but at least Please Me, Fever Tree, etc. has to be up there for consideration.
Yep they are in a tiny venue and still play their radio hits with 6 frickin people on stage! I don’t think I’ll ever see them live again unfortunately
@@Needawholepailofwaterwell yea a big percentage of their hits aren’t even originals. Covers from old blues artists or largely ‘sampled’ from them

Sometimes the sound that made the band great is worth sticking to.
@@shawnmcmahon3042you could say the same about Led Zeppelin, but they never sold out to the point of playing the hits only. I’ve seen Black Keys a bunch but Turn Blue tour will be my last. The album was great but they would rather sell out arenas than show their true roots.

Después de mucho tiempo de escucharlos por fin pude ver a una de mis bandas favoritas en vivo ahora en el 2024 en México, sonaron espectacular, mas allá de que sea fan sonaron durísimo en vivo, ojala tenga la dicha de poder verlos volver en vivo algún día, larga vida a The Black Keys.
I think this is the best sound I've heard from Patrick. If anyone has ever seen another live setting where drums sound as good as this, let me know please.
