Hello, I don't recommend you to do it widout the experience! But yes, everything is inside ista , istaD, and istaP has around 500gb of information , either so the security FSC codes for special functions are not generated or kept in ista !

In best cause all processes will be like shown in this video BUT... in my cause ( and not only ) ISTA/P ask to replace some module??? For example FRM3 module that have no any problems and work OK ( and is OK according ISTA/D too ). This module was updated outside the car because of software crash and I thing this is a reason ( updated with last possible version ). How to update other modules without problems with this one. Cannot remove it - remove from measure plane but still exist after determination plane is calculating. Is there any solution???

I wondered if there had been any refinements in the gearbox control and DDE unit over the years and would like to update some of my modules. I wonder if you know if the updates for these example modules would show any difference to how the car operates? Nice, i have always wondered how ISTA P works, i have only used D. Do you know if there is somewhere we can see whats changed in newer software updates? Like a changelog. Do you have the orginal icom from bmw or is it a copy? I saw the orginal for sale and it didnt seem to expensive actually, the clones seems to almost cost the same. Guess the software is what costs.

Are there any noticeable changes when driving, using the car, or perhaps a more efficient operation, so it is worth the hassle? I usually keep all my PC software updated the very moment a new version gets released, and I feel the urge to do it on my 2017 F15 X5 also. Are there 'release notes' from BMW somewhere that lists what changes between versions (integrations)? Are there any risk, downside of an upgrade?

Then why write the new I-level when only the DME is running at that integration level? BMW takes great care to release only a complete configuration. This way you have an untested set of firmwares running together. Probably the reason why ISTA+ only lets you program the whole configuration.

So I got ista for my F series sometimes the program opens sometime it crashes and say I need to restart the program or uninstall, I’ve uninstalled the program twice no success

You didn't understand, the navigation can fail when programming in the software writing step, and from ilevel 2018 on the car, you can't use istaP anymore, you need to use ista+ and in ista+ you can't deselect the navigation modules from programming if you have a newer ilevel ista

Is the 40 Amps of the charger really needed? I have 8 Amps on my car battery charger. If yes, as an option I have a huge Agilent lab power supply device (it weighs 30kgs) capable of 0-30V 0-60A (I'm an electronic engineer). I guess I set it to a voltage limit of 14.7 and large enough current limit, it'll do it.

Vreau sa te intreb si o chestie personala, am un E90 diesel din 2010 si imi apare eroarea 93D6 Central control unit - SG is not locked. Asa am luat masina acum vreun an, totul merge bine, nu are nici o problema, dar ma deranjeaza ca apare eroarea asta si ramane si dupa ce sterg erorile. Ai idee care ar fi problema?

Pe masina ta ai un bun exemplu la ceia ce am explicat eu in acest video , modulul tau de airbag a fost reprogramat si cel mai probabil a fost cu winKFP , si cum am specificat, sa schimbat doar softul in unitatea de airbag fara a mai face pasi necesari pre si post programming ! in momentul de fata in caz de accident teoretic nici un airbag (capsa pirotehnica ) nu va fi detonata ( adica airbagurile nu vor sari / activa ) ! pentru remediere va trebui reprogramare facuta cu istaD !

Hello, it will work widout coding, ideal is to code it to be associated with the car, if your car is LCI you need an LCI antenna the non-LCI won't work. And if you have the correct antenna and still doesn't work you have a different problem or the antenna is bad.

Hello! first connect the bimer code between the pavement and the front left tire exactly in the middle then put the car in drive and hit accelerator , next get hold of NCS expert and with that you can adjust/code the volume of the chime.

Done this a couple of times on E-series. Never seen it done on a F-series. Very good 👍
Do you need / can you use the MOST connector on F-Series?
No, you don't need it, even on the E series you use the most adapter only if you do a software update on multimedia systems

You need to have voltage over the threshold , I have set the power supply to 14,5 because will be some voltage drop across the wiring and connection..

Vreau sa te intreb si o chestie personala, am un E90 diesel din 2010 si imi apare eroarea 93D6 Central control unit - SG is not locked. Asa am luat masina acum vreun an, totul merge bine, nu are nici o problema, dar ma deranjeaza ca apare eroarea asta si ramane si dupa ce sterg erorile. Ai idee care ar fi problema?

Pe masina ta ai un bun exemplu la ceia ce am explicat eu in acest video , modulul tau de airbag a fost reprogramat si cel mai probabil a fost cu winKFP , si cum am specificat, sa schimbat doar softul in unitatea de airbag fara a mai face pasi necesari pre si post programming ! in momentul de fata in caz de accident teoretic nici un airbag (capsa pirotehnica ) nu va fi detonata ( adica airbagurile nu vor sari / activa ) ! pentru remediere va trebui reprogramare facuta cu istaD !

Hello, it will work widout coding, ideal is to code it to be associated with the car, if your car is LCI you need an LCI antenna the non-LCI won't work. And if you have the correct antenna and still doesn't work you have a different problem or the antenna is bad.

Hello! first connect the bimer code between the pavement and the front left tire exactly in the middle then put the car in drive and hit accelerator , next get hold of NCS expert and with that you can adjust/code the volume of the chime.

Salut ! Am o oferta sa iau un e60 cu m54b22 la pret de bicicleta. Full M, evacuare dubla de inox. Singura chestie care ma preocupa este faptul ca a fost conversie de la RHD la LHD si are unele erori pe partea electronica. Mecanic se prezinta decent. Un sfat ? Multumesc.
