Hi, I've got a f57 JCW Cat N . I've replaced the drivers side headlight as it was completely smashed . light only works when the car is running and I unplug and plug the headlight connector back in ... Does the new light require coding to the car ? if so can you help me remotely or what would I require to do the job myself ?

good night, thank you for the very great video. I would just like to highlight one issue. the problem that was mentioned in the video is not something exclusive only to the "clone", I have been using icon next original actia for some years and I had a problem with it identical to the one mentioned in the video, I contacted the company that provided me with a new one for not to be able to define a cause for the problem, an update was made, remote connection, I had to call a company to check the network system, cabling and nothing. finally they sent me another one and the problem is over, quite simple like the video, I can tell you from experience that both have the same defect. don't get me wrong i'm not criticizing the video, i'm just adding a real experience with the equipment.

Appreciate your vids , going off topic from this vid though can you give me an idea why the little button that has an "A" with a circle around it with an arrow on one end that also has "off" next to it doesn't seem to do anything?? I think it's the automatic cut off when the car is idling

hi. my istap works with icomm next but nothing else connects. ive just swapped from chinese vxdiag icom which works , . now i purchased an orig icom ethernet one and it only works with ista p . programs fine aswell.
comm light lan and system lights on. no luck with the regular ista d or inpa nor coding tools which i normally use without a problem.
any ideas whats going on? cheers if you can help a diy Aussie.

Hello BMW Doctor, I bought a used Actia AR10008059 and upon plugging into into OBD w/ignition on shows only red blinking light (COMM). Is there any place to have it repaired???? already spent $350US.

Also the 4 lights you get when plugging it in. Is this briefly or permanent? I am using Genuine BMW ICOM Next A but the 4 lights go out just after plugging into OBD then just left with System light flashing. When ethernet cable goes in the LAN light shows.

Hey Dean what version would be good for ista D for bmw all I can find is ista+? Everybtine I get a link for ista D it loads as says ista+ and I keep getting jerked around..
The one at the dealer says also Ista+, P and D is only for reference, because they don’t do the same

Hello, I've purchased an ICOM Next (silver one) from ebay and I'm trying to do diagnostic work with ISTA for my 2009 BMW K1300R. When I plug in the ICOM next it shows up on ISTA but its not able to connect to the bike. Online I've seen people use the old ICOM (orange) module to connect to my bike so I'm wondering if I bought the wrong module and need to buy the orange one, or if I can just update the ICOM Next module with suitable software that is compatible with my bike. Thank you
try to get ista 4.32.15 should connect right away or at least is a easy connection setup.

Cawko I buy a m5 e60 and then about 1000km first reduction engine soo then pay for new batterie and cabel....so before change the cabel i find a paper from org BMW servis but the mechanich hawe wanna manny ok i pay 600€ and right strait buy a laptop and ista pay 2500€ and inpa and the others do not working so i have make it to go I speek some language and find sa. Options to hawe somthing only for mé ...but 2500€ gone becose im stupid and Village only the original...so some mechanik hawe take laptop and instal me the programs and the ista D .is only working like mobil servis and onli 10years
