I am just thankful there was a boy there! My son just started ballet and a proud daddy I would be if he were to come close to dancing like this. A masterpiece. Really enjoyed watching over and over again!

The strength of these dancers is amazing...and it really doesn't take away from the overall effect...it's stunning , creative and new but not so new that it strays too far from the original.

@Pauline Meier -- btw, not sure where you are, but one of these girls is now in Bolshoi and the other one is in Mariinsky. @Cristóbal Acuña - the video is from 2012. I am not sure about the boy, but Eleonora Sevenard graduated in 2017, so she must've been around 18 in 2017. The video is from 2012 which would make her 13 at the time of this video. The other girl is Yulia Zolotykh, and according to her instagram she graduated in 2016, so she'd be a year older. The boy's name is Roman Surkov, but I don't know anything about him. It's not likely he is 11 as this would put him to the 1st year, and it's not like a first year students would be cast, though it's possible if he'd had prior training.

Different dancers rotate through the roles. There are 3 sets of Billies for a week’s worth of Billy Elliot shows in musical theatre. You have probably never heard of the top American orchestras, conductors, composers, musicians, ballet dancers, authors, playwrights, actors , artists, etc. But then you seem to know little about culture. I could mention other countries such as Austria, France, Germany and Italy.

Russia has long been famous for good ballet but that doesn't make it the cultural capital of the world.
