This is my #1 all-time favorite song ever. My husband, when we began dating, wanted to impress me. He knew this was my favorite song & he learned to play in on pedal steel guitar. It was beautiful. I have many songs that I love, but there has never been any other to take this out of my #1 slot.

Such a great record, all of Hysteria. The tour of course was extra special with Rick Allen making his comeback on the drums after his horrible car accident, the place just went nuts when he came out and for his drum solo. Tesla was the opener for them on this tour in Phoenix and they were also fantastic and it was the start of a lifelong relationship with Def Leppard. Need to check out the track "Song and Emotion" from Tesla, the tribute track to Steve Clark, after he passed away in 1991.
Late at night, windows rolled down, this song, backseat lullaby, Mmm hmmm. More than a few 80s, 90s babies conceived to this brilliant and magical piece of music. 😉😊 27 years, still going strong and finding spiritual enlightenment to this. Love your reactions. Xo

Man, you are going through my hit collection and bringing back some great concert memories!! Saw these guys twice at the beginning and end of this tour in London in '87, second time THE Brian May came on stage and jammed with them...fast foward 32 years and my wife and I went to Vegas to see their residency last year and they are still killin' it! Rock on Jamal!!

Ive been to their concert, and when Hysteria track was about to end, they ended it with "Heroes" by David Bowie, and thats another reason why Hysteria is such a great song! And right in the feels man, this is me and my Hubbys song, but were separated now due to all this crazyness going on now...I cant wait to get closer to him!! I had the great fortune to be a teenager at this time in the 80s. I listened to all kinds of rock music. We had a teenage nightclub locally that catered to kids ages 13 - 20 -- and two of the largest sets there were the metalheads and the hip hop kids. The DJ played music all night -- the heads would headbang to our stuff and the hip hop kids would dance to theirs. No fights, no problems ever. In fact, many of us still know each other and talk on FB all the time and we are in our late 40s and early 50s now. This is my other half and my song. We always dance together to this when we go to their concerts. Photograph is our other one. They have music for everyone. Every time I hear this song, it takes me back to their concerts and dancing with my man. They make beautiful music.

I would say that the words magic, and miracle are being used as metaphors for how he feels when this person is near.
Try " To late for love", one of my favs from this group.
This is my other half and my song. We always dance together to this when we go to their concerts. Photograph is our other one. They have music for everyone. Every time I hear this song, it takes me back to their concerts and dancing with my man. They make beautiful music.
My favorite D.L. song. Could listen to this all day.
Same!
Yayyy! Def Leppard was my first concert when I was 14. The Hysteria tour! ❤
Mine too. I was 16. In the round!!
@@chadmonroe4145 You know that means we're old now! 😂
Tami Jahns oh I know. Wake up every morning with something new hurting. 😝
I had to go down a couple hundred comments before i saw somebody finally mention the drummer only has one arm. I Wish Jamel would have noticed that in the Reaction.
EDIT: Oh great then right after i Comment i see it mentioned in the 6th post down. Derp!
First girl I ever loved used to worship these guys. She broke my heart. It took a long time before I could listen to them again. I still miss her sometimes. Mostly if I wake up alone. Kristi, I hope you're happy.
The drummer: Rick Allen aka The Thundergod
Are you excitable?? 😜
Sorry, a version of that name, God of Thunder, was given to Bonham already. There is a book about Zeppelin titled Hammer of the Gods.
Def Leppard is sooo much connected to my youth :-) Thx, Jamel for these reaction-videos :-) I am still so happy, that I've found your channel - offerin' me so many smiles every day! Peace out :-) All the best and keep on goin/rockin! :-) Stay safe and healthy!!!
I'd love to see him do POISON next.
Yes, please.
One of my favorite ballads from this group ❤ 😍 ♥ 💕
You should listen to "high n dry" that's one of their best albums just straight up rock n roll.
I saw this tour twice. Great live performers.
very crazy that Love Bites was blocked but not this one.
Still a good tune
"Love bites', 'pour some sugar on me' ...' Too late for love'.... 'pour some sugar on me'is one of the best!! So many great songs that they have put out!!
Other Def Leppard songs are Bringing on the Heartbreak, Miss you in a Heartbeat, Have you ever need someone so bad, Two steps behind, Armageddon It.
Thank you for the awesome trip down memory lane. music was amazing in the 80's. My boyfriend at the time this came out looked like the lead singer LOL
This is the band that got me into rock, and I've never looked back.
I grow up listening to their music, I even got my mom liking some of their music. I wish that more of the music now was like this. I feel old when I talk about bands like this around my niece.
Go back further and do "Bringing on the heartbreak" Too late for love, and Got me under fire
High N Dry was an amazing album.
Do a reaction on Def Leppard singing “Too Late For Love” live in concert 1988. It’s so good with the audience lighters in the air. 🔥
My all time favorite song of theirs!!!
I just so happen to have that spiritual connection WITH THIS SONG
My ex-boyfriend used to play the song when we made whoopie back in the day
Whoopie is a fart. Like the noise a whoopie cushion makes.
@@herbie747 It's been whoopie ever since The Newlywed Game in the 1960's, 70's, and 80's.......
@@Wrangzilla Maybe in the US - but in the rest of the world it means a fart.
@@herbie747 look up the song title "Making Whoopie." There are other references out there.
@@jazziphoto4138 You never heard of a whoopie cushion?
Because right now (unless you're American), it sounds like Liz and her partner like to fart on each other for sexual gratification.
