We love that area and those trails. We go there often. Popcorn is a great trail too! Happy Birthday Sara! You should get you a hitch skid plate. I love mine. It protects the hitch and is very strong! Another great video. Thanks
Looks like a great adventure and fun place to explore! Enjoying this content and seeing what the JL/JT's can do. Very impressive. I'm looking forward to the next adventure. Cheers!
@@appalachhaun_adventures Yes! I'm loving my JL Rubicon and coming up on owning it a year here in December. It's amazing what these machines can do. I'm from SC. Maybe someday we'll cross on a trail.
Back in mid march i was at a campsite in sarahs creek located close by the kell family cemetery. I have never ever been in a forest whern there was no sounds of owls, squirrels or any bugs. It was a very errey hike that night up to rhe Kell family graveyard.
@@appalachhaun_adventures yep, and in the very back of the camping area where you have to cross the stream there’s a waterfall behind the very back campsite by the bathroom.
Also when you go past the big camping area in the back and stay to the left to go up the mountain there’s a small campsite on the left in the curve to the right and in that campsite just across the little stream there’s a grave of a man that was buried there in 1975 if I remember correctly, so whenever we go to Sarah’s Creek to camp we try our best to leave some flowers for the old fella.
@@StandAloneAdventures Ya I wanted to go check that out but didn’t haha. I wasn’t sure how long Sarah’s creek and Earl’s Ford trails were going to take haha
Enjoyed watching. I felt bad for you forgetting the ladder. I’ve done stuff like that often enough that I create checklists for myself. Might want to consider some protection for your front diff if you don’t already have it.
@@appalachhaun_adventures no. That camp before the turn around. Those “side trails” is why they are gating off that whole road before the first water crossing. People keep going over and tearing down signs on those illegal side trails. Last time we camped there we had side by sides and jeeps all night long.
@@WolfOverland a few gladiators went in there from the campground the evening before and I never saw them exit. Never saw them in the campground or on the trail the next morning either 🤔 🤷🏻♂️ not sure where they went 😂
Hello love the videos my friend sorry for the mishap on the ladder but hey it all worked out and if you're like me my brain kicks into turbo mode going in every direction at the same time so if I don't basically tie it to me when I'm loading up to go outside on my adventures it just might get left behind but anyway glad all worked out. I live in the Maggie Valley area and do quite a bit of trail riding in and around this area but not in the Georgia area and like the trails in the area you're videos help me decide on trips in these areas wouldn't mind meeting up sometime and doing some adventuring. Thanks for the videos my friend keep on keeping on see you on the next one. "Happy adventures "

Favorite camp spot at Sarah's Creek is the one across the creek in the corner closest to the water fall 👍

Good you remember the ladder. That had to suck.
