Living in a country that often have tropical storm, we always lower one side of the pole to the awning when it rains so that it is tilted hence water can flow down naturally and wont pool on top. Save you the trouble of having to clear the rain water ya. Greetings from Malaysia

Love the Tacoma Canopy and mods. Feels like it'd be perfect for foresters or surveyors, maybe the odd biologist(or equivalent field) checking in on a local population for a week or two. easily looks like it could handle 3 or 4 people worth of stuff.
Watching this as we ready our gear for a four month overland trip from Florida to Alaska. I think if you lower one pole on your awning setup, the water will have a natural run off and you won’t have to keep pushing up on the awning to get rid of the water. I’m always impressed by the sheer amount of stuff you have and yes, some I wish I had. For example those sleeves you had for the small gas canister and lamps that you had odds and ends in. Yep, I can use some of those as well as some of those small lights. Be nice to have a source or link.
