- Today we take a look at Lidl Luton Regional Distribution Centre (RDC), Houghton Road LU4 9TX.
We speak to some construction workers who tell us we are not allowed to film.
Then we go to the other gate and the dog handler security tell us the same.
Then the manager comes out to tell us we cannot fly the drone.

as a formal security dog handler myself, "setting the dog" on someone is a criminal offence and WILL result in 5 years of imprisonment and the dog being put down. The police are the only authority that can release a security dog
Simon needs to be investigated by Police about that Dog threat. Any threat of violence is a serious situation. Completely unacceptable.

It's only a crime if the dog permanently deprives DJ of some blood.
I just hope that the company who employed him terminats his contact for threatening behaviour he instructed the security guard to release the guard dog that is very serious threat and the police needs to be informed.

He actually threatened you with a dog attack. Maybe he doesnt relise its actually an offence to set traps for tresspassers or burglers. They are only allowed to use reasonable force if necessary. The use of a dog is definitely not considered reasonable force.

The "dog handler" security guard should be more concerned about opening and leaving open the boot of his vehicle if there is a working dog in a cage in the back. Animal welfare is paramount over anything else.
Hi Jack, The dog handler is looking after the dog's welfare by leaving fresh air in the vehicle. I have two working dogs here in Ireland and I open the back doors for the dogs while waiting for them to go to work.

The signs were tied to the pallets when they were installed into the tarmac to stop them falling out before it had time to set properly.
21:51 When fork trucks are parked, the forks must be leaning forward a bit with the tip of the forks touching the ground, this is to prevent a trip hazard and applies anywhere you stop the truck unless the forks are under a pallet.

As someone who worked in the security industry. You as a member of public do not have the right to demand the sia details. Only the sia have the power to demand to see an Sia badge. Also a security guard can wear the Sia badge with the back showing rather that the front and if the are working on a site where a lanyard could get caught and potentially cause injury they can wear it under an outer layer of clothing. While I do agree the security in this video were bang out of order

I just can't imagine a site manager giving specific instructions that no one can take photos of the site, utter crap comes out of their mouths and they expect others to believe it.

By the way that parked forklift truck with the double front wheels was parked incorrectly with the forks raised about 2 feet above the ground. They should always be flat on the ground when parked up. Another health and safety issue they should be practicing.

The metal washers that hold down the insulation is then fused together with a machine using an electrical current to bond the washer to the underside of the finished roof membrane!!
