- Today we take a look at New Stanton Park, Stanton by Dale, Ilkeston DE7 4QU.
Security ask us to leave the site but I was outside on the grass verge right next to a public footpath which is normally council maintained land.
He insists I move so I go back 10 Metres to the path, he then wants my bike moved.
We have words and then his colleque arrives who has to hold him back whilst his behaviour hits an all time low for this channel.
(UPDATE FROM JOHN F HUNT - This is not a good example being set by the security person and it brings our brand into disrepute.
We must point out that this individual should not have been wearing John F Hunt Regeneration clothing as he isn't employed by us.)
We are then joined by a staff member of Verdant who own the site.
The drone goes up and down and then we are joined by 2 Staff from John F Hunt who are in charge of clearing the site.

I have been a Security officer for 23 years and I have to say that security guard is a disgrace he gives the profession a bad name I pride myself on being polite to people
It's mainly foriegners who think they're in their backward homelands that give security the bad name, yeah there's bad English and celtic security but the foriegners are absolutely disgraceful.

That security guard needs sacking and his SIA revoked. He shouldn't be allowed to be out in public his behaviour is shocking and it reflects badly on construction company. I'll be leaving a review for this company if they condone that level of unprofessional behaviour. Great video once again.

I've just started SIA training today, and that guy wouldn't have even made it on to the course where I am. He may well lose his license.

It’s one thing highlighting the rights of photographers but simultaneously these videos highlight the tyrants who are terrible representatives of the company’s they work for.
You speak like security firms do any kind of due diligence on the new hires aside than MAYBE a criminal record check. They usually attract the lowest common denominator of people looking for a job.

I'd hate to see anyone lose their job, but that security guard is an absolute liability, a danger to the public. These days theres no such thing as a trained security guard. Even if you cant speak english or understand anything on the course you will still pass the test at the end of the week.
@H4WK69 I'm not a native speaker myself but it always surprises me that people can work in security with only very little understanding of the language and the laws. It is obviously an underpaid job and they just take on anybody, even people with anger management problems as seen here.

@I'mconfused. Ordinarily, I'd agree with you. Nobody wants to see people lose their jobs, but there are exceptions, especially when that person isn't fit for purpose. That security guard has serious anger management issues, exactly the opposite characteristics needed in that job. Manners, respect, and politeness cost nothing! Also, being well versed in basic law and peoples rights would help. On that evidence, he is seriously under qualified for his role.

Mentally stable? do you not understand that we are ALL capable of this? If you're pushed far enough, you will behave like this too. He was handling it just fine in the beginning, but DJ poked and prodded (intentionally) until he snapped. Some people's fuses are shorter than others, but that does not make one mentally unstable.
