The place has lots of signs so we look into what they are saying.
We speak to security and reception before walking into the showroom.
Once inside we ask a few questions about the signs which results in some drama.

There is a dance in the US that occurs between the 'buyer' and 'salesman'.
The salesman repeatedly has to go seek answers or approval from a higher level management to any question or offer raised by the buyer.
This alone takes several hours. Time is on their side, as they seek to wear you down. They constantly make you feel that they are doing you a favor to overcome their made up obstacles to completing the sale.
Im from NZ so maybe things are different here, but if you walk in with cash on hand, you can drive off within an hour easy.

It's crazy how one guy who should be wanting promotion had made this place look really bad. But fair play to the security and receptionist, even fair play to the manager to come back and explain why he was off.

The Operations Director behaved like many others in the same position in this industry, they’re full of their own self importance to stop and think this person could be a future customer. FOOLS!
I love how the operations director had an inferiority complex and meltdown without an provocation, so beautiful.
Staff seemed decent honestly, apart from that one dude. And end of the day even when it got escalated they were good with it where they could have refused.
Very professional receptionist. Somewhat professional security. The rest leave a lot to be desired.
Just looked and their trust pilot score is 4.4 with a google score of 3.3, dont believe the signs!

I think that if Trustpilot found out about the use of their logo and the incorrect rating score they might have a few words with the business. The result would be that they will need to remove the signs.
Definitely NOT the place to go to look at or buy vehicles...stay away!!!! Very rude unless they suspect you'll purchase a vehicle...its as if they profile you.

Security and reception were fine, but that arrogant little operations guy isn't the kind of person you want representing your company. They might have the cheapest cars in the UK, but I wouldn't go there after seeing this interaction! Another great DJ Audit! :)

I'm in Wales where the original trade center wales centres are, it's a horrendous company how people still deal with them is beyond anyone.

Unfortunately what I get out of this is the nice people, those that aren't bullies are the not the ones that have made it to "senior" positions in an organisation, its quite common.
Thank god, was getting withdrawal symptoms, TH-cam just wasn’t the same. Did anyone else think those photos all taken in the same location looked like they were all taken on the same day, possibly with friends or family posing with paperwork to look like they’d made loads of sales? It started off really good, no one objected, all the staff were cordial. It felt really pleasant and refreshing and I thought to myself "these people must have been trained on dealing with public auditing, and are doing a great job".
Then that Director of Operations came out and spoilt everything for everyone. Plonker.
Based on that operations Manager I would never in a million years buy a car from this place. Appalling attitude and behaviour.
I have visited myself a trade centre uk site and walked out after 5 mins. I asked at the desk if it's OK to walk around and look at the cars. Reception said yes. As I'm walking around I keep getting staff following me and my family bothering me and not leaving me alone to look around the site. I've felt intimated and left. Horrible experience and never will I visit or recommend this company ever again.

What a tool the Operations Director/Manager was! Dismissive, rude, and power hungry. His job, amongst other things, is to represent his company professionally, and he failed. Great audit. They talk the talk, but it's highly unlikely they'd be able to back up all their claims.

They will sometimes offer you a lower price for the finance. Then it's cheaper to pay off finance straight away (usually 1/2 months interest or closing fee - check TnCs)

Most of them were OK apart from the operations director. He was very hostile, from the start. These car centre's are never the best places and always try to get you to take the finance at extortionate rates 😂

I got royally robbed in my youth by Yes Car Credit - and I mean robbed. This made my blood curdle, bloody liars and charlatans.
Thanks DJ! Was considering this place but the stroppy little sales guy has basically thrown a light on how this dealership operates behind the scenes and I imagine treats it’s staff the same way. So I will be now taking my business elsewhere. Just hope the young girl behind reception didn’t get into trouble though, bless her.

Other problem being you don’t ‘need’ permission to film a publicly accessible area. Of course if they asked you to leave then that’s different but even if you refused, trespass is only civil matter anyway.

So my first time heading out to try and get a key ring failed, but on the other hand, it does seem that finding the keyring becomes a bit of a social gathering! Met a fellow viewer, and we shared a couple of stories of our own from the trade centre! Gutted not to have found the keyring, I suspect I was only about 10 minutes late. Keep up the good work DJ. This is one of the car sale places that pester you from the moment you enter and follow you around annoying you. I went to a branch to buy a car. Id seen it online, made my mind up and went to buy....I just wanted to have a wonder about first to see it, i never bought it as i was harassed and pestered the entire time in was there.

Formally car craft name changed due to dodgy sales. Sold me a car when I was young and used another vehicles details to pass the finance (different registration) as soon as you walk through the door they pounce on you and follow you everywhere
Liked the interaction with the first security guy, very cordial. Highlights some security primary concern is handling traffic in and out but not trained in the unique instances of public photography and industrial audits such as our great DJ.

The reviews on Trust pilot say they use pressure tactics to get you to sign on the dotted line at hugely inflated prices.

trade centre uk are disgraceful i live near the coventry one and in my opinion they are the same. the pressure they put on you to buy, and not give you time to look they pretty much pester you from the time you walk in. they dont allow you to choose what you want they tell you what you are having. i was in there 10 mins are walked out as i couldnt stand being stalked and pestered by salesman. i have never been back and never will.

Clearspan width looks to be 125-150 feet.
Columns and rafters look a little light, but I don't know the thickness dimension of the steel that they were crafted from.
Seems a bit taller than it needs to be for the purpose, but it gives an impressive look.

I tried to get a car from the Coventry one, due to not much of a credit history it took over a day to find out that I couldn’t actually get one with my credit score. So it’s only drive away in an hour if you’re loaded enough to buy outright or have a very good credit score
I think this used to be Carcraft, when i visited in 2005..i really believe that DJ would be very good at selling the cars, as well as being a formidable auditor....

Hey DJ. The photos you were asking about were probably taken at trade centre wales in neath, south wales or in trade centre wales merthyr or abercynon (they advertise it as cardiff north but its abercynon). The business is well known in wales. The business started here in neath and has expanded 👍

After seeing the antics of the OP's DIRECTOR I'll steer clear of this place, the chance for some good advertisement completely ruined by one little man.....😂

In Australia, Victoria in particular, a vehicle requires a Roadworthy Certificate which takes more than 1 hour to do.

I just checked their TP reviews, and a lot are saying the cars are meant to have a 99 point check, but complaints about brakes failing, breaking down etc just after buying them!

i know many people that have brought cars from places like this. there all friendly and good to chat with, that's why they are sales staff. if you have a problem with the car after the sale you get treated the same way the operations director treated you. who do you think you will deal with when your vehicle has faults. definitely not the sales staff. Be warned........

It took nearly an hour to get a price for my old car, I was offered plenty of coffee though.
