Fantastic video. I am glad I didn't have to watch someone with an expensive cnc machine do the work. I appreciate the advice for those of us who don't have such machines.

I bought this leg frame on Amazon and I plug it in and it goes up 47 inches and down to desk height and then you have to cut your own table top. I just love it now I’ve ordered another one so I can put it in the woodshop at the end of my table saw, and when I need a little helping hands, I can make it the height of the table, saw and cut along piece of wood, since I have no one to help me

Very neat solution to a common problem. I love the simplicity combined with the design aesthetics -- this could easily be an affordable commercial kit product. I also really enjoyed you taking us through the process and the the problem-solving.

Oh, I love the efficiency of your space. I don't enough room for my tools, so they're spread out among a storage room, carport, garden shed, and attic. Certainly not conducive to making something like this. Good on you for your most excellent build!

If you add a v-groove on the top of the tongue(s) where it meets the back (after it goes through the upright), it will drop the angle as well.

Like that, I spend too much time in the working week sitting at my desk. I think I will go and try this one out, or use it as a basis of something more specific for my needs (twin monitors) , thank you , great idea, made to look so simple

Turned out great I really like the foot idea you added to help with the angle cause it will let you play with and see what works best and if you move it you can make sure it's stable

Not sure if I would need a standing laptop stand personally. But I can see many people sucking up your design or at least wanting to purchase one from you. I love your design and the process you went through to build that uber clean stand. Very well done.

Something to look into if you ever do more of these angled type jobs, but if you had a vertical tilting router table then you could set the angle for each slot to be at the angle you needed the shelf to be and gotten a tighter fit... Some lifts offer the option to tilt, just like a table saw. While some tables can be tilted or you could make a jig to set the work piece at the angle...

Router feed direction: a good way to remember is grab your hand held router with your right hand, your thumb should point toward the workpiece edge, your pointer finger points the direction to move the router.

Would the angle have been better if you made wider slots? Maybe 1 1/4”?

Shelf Sizes: is the usable size of the shelves 32x14 and 14x14? If so, the blank needs to be bigger to accommodate the tongue, correct ?
I think I found the answer based on measuring a laptop and keyboard. sizes in the blog are the overall size and you cut out the tongues
