I just installed a used ECM and reprogrammed my key using this video. 2011 Nissan Altima 2.5l ... (note)if you get a used ECM it could have an airbag stored code in it.

I have two Xtool scanners The D7 and the A30M Neither one of them will update using my home internet or any of my friends internet Neither XTool or my internet provider can figure out why The D7 has a 3 year free updates and its only 2 years old. The A30M has a life time updates . XTOOL customer service is a joke Takes them over a week to get back to you You cannot connect them by phone

It depends on what I was going to focus on. The xtool programs far more keys and will adjust the mileage on many cars. The autel will not adjust mileage on any car but does have more special functions and active test so if troubleshooting problems was my main concern (and it is) I would take the autel.

@@darknight1289 Not sure if the D7 will do it but if it has the option it will be under special functions in the ecu module.

@@darknight1289 It depends on the make and model so for me to be sure I would have to have it hooked to a Nissan so I can get deep enough into the menus to see if it is there.
Will the D8 pull pin code on chrysler/jeep 2008 and newer?
Yes, I have a video where I program a key and pull the pin codes on a 2007 Jeep Wrangler which is a Chrysler product.

No Autel will accept their key programming tools.

Can you print from the D8?
Yes you can. It is basically an android tablet and you can print if you setup the tablet to print.
