Hi, Newbie to Baldur's Gate AND D&D here. I am on my 4th playthrough and have played no other game since buying it. I only have 60 percent achievements and constantly find cutscenes and dialogue I have not seen before. Everything said about the game is true. It's not a perfect game, the performance of Act 3 is unacceptable but even considering that -BG3 is the best game I have ever played. and I have been playing games since Heroes of Might and Magic came out on my PC that had around 128Mb of RAM. I was a blessed kid, I could play PC games AND go on the Encarta encyclopaedia CDROM because we did not have the internet.
He’s not mad that BG3 won GOTY, he’s mad because it’s not on his precious plastic handheld. Of course it’s not going to be on there, because the Switch most likely isn’t capable of handling the game. Either the Switch isn’t capable, or the game wouldn’t fit onto the cartridge. Hell, they could have made it digital only and chances are, it probably could have been capable. This was just announced today. Even if these feedback ideas don’t work out, it’s still something. Also, MSI is getting ready to release their own handheld called The Claw. It’s built on Win11 but instead of utilizing an AMD APU, it’s using Intel’s APU. And as an Arc CPU and GPU user, I’m finding this intriguing. Thinking of snatching one down the road. Anyway, sorry for the long winded comments. I’ll shut up.

Before I played BG3 I believed the greatest game ever made was the mass effect trilogy and bloodborn second with link to the past Zelda at 3rd. After playing BG3 I know it's the greatest game ever made. It's actually insulting to even place any of the games made that year in the same contest as BG3, it's utterly transcendent in just how good it is.
I prefer zelda tears of the kingdom because of how the content was evenly sparsed and the game feels more "full" because in BG3 in the final act the game show some lack of development in certain parts.. And to understand everything you need a ton of books and side quests, i just feel that in the last act i got more tired and bored to get the other 2 stones after arc 2 per example.. But in game of the year i would still put BG3 because it's more complex to make, and they put more development in the regions and feels more alive in overall. Zelda don't innovated too much in the biomes and other stuff, things that even copies of zelda made better, althoug the story to me was more relevant than bg3 characters since i don't needed to search on internet about puzzles too much that could give me spoilers (this is a problem in BG3 to me) and got more surprised. I simply don't like a play style that you need to search internet to do a "good ending" and then getting 1 in dice for history arc content, but it's a personal choice since the game is dnd based game and i understand that. I simply like a "pre made" scripted history better because you can concentrate more in all the steps.
20 minutes ago or so, I learned I could cast feather fall on a druid shapeshifted into owlbear, have that druid jump from a high place to deal insane amount of damage.
I mean with how the game goes it kinda makes me second guess things, feather fall is cast on the party so it makes things faster or simpler if another character is in the same high place.

This hate train was organized like a war, the best organized I have ever witnessed and it still failed. owlbears already dont take fall dmg with crushing flight so just enlarge jump down from the skies and watch everything under it turn into paste
