- Gotta love how with the success of Palworld Pokemon fanboys came out of the woodwork to crap on it. What's ironic is that they are only doing this because the game is popular. If the game barely pushed a couple thousand units none of these people shitting on it would be here. I am a hardcore Pokémon fan and I’m glad for palworld and its success it’s seems like a genuinely fun game and personally I hope it scares Nintendo into trying harder

I've been a huge pokemon fan since red and blue, before I could even read. My favorite games are also HG/SS and I've bought and played every pokemon game released in the states.
That being said, Palworld is like when I discovered Stardew Valley. It was everything I enjoyed about the harvest moon series, but better executed and the concept was explored much deeper.
Palworld is what I wanted from legends arceus. I'm going into my thirties soon and legends felt like a love letter to long time fans. But it was unrefined and executed poorly. Palworld scratches every itch that I had lingering from legends and it's been a blast to play. I have zero qualms over the similarities of some of the designs. A hybrid between Miraidon and Latios? A Suicune pegasus? Sign me up YEARS ago. To me that shit's just cool.
I'm eager to continue following the development and see how it impacts the future of monster collection games, because to me palworld has been nothing but a huge win for pokemon fans.

Okay I'm going to be really honest here I'm a long serving Nintendo/Pokémon fan and I am NOT against Palworld, if anything I am interested in Palworld, so I'm not like those toxic Nintendo/Pokémon fans going around hating an alternative game after all we have to get ideas from somewhere to be inspired by, I personally think that Pocket pair did the most fantastic idea yet. Its like Pokémon meets call of duty, the game looks sick and awesome hands down, with respect.
Are the creatures very inspired and almost a copy of pokemon creatures? Yes, but thats their only sin. The rest of the game takes stuff from many different games.
Is the game fun? Yes it is. Its gonna be a trend and nobody will play it in the future? I think yes, because the game became famous thanks to memes.
Both haters and fanboys are annoying? Yes they are, thats a fact.
But that doesn't matter, what matters is that this should tell nintendo to improve their pokemon games.
I agree with almost everything but the fact that this game won't be played in the future. This game beat out CS2 on Steam for all-time peaks. All Pocket-Pair needs to do is keep their foot on the gas pedal with updates, and I could see this game being relevant for years to come.

This game has been in development for 3 years, if Nintendo wants to sue them, they would’ve done it from the beginning and this game wouldn’t even see the light of day. Great video, btw!
Glad you enjoyed the video! I also knew about this project when it was revealed years ago, so all the people saying Pocket Pair are going to get sued shows they don't know much about this subject.

This video pretty much exposed how insanely salty these fanboys are for baby like reasons. They usually get salty my fav Pokemon games because of gen 1 clones I guess, but they are like this one problem is enough to hate everything about the games.

I wish Palworld luck for its success. I really hope that Digimon, Monster Rancher, Neopets, or Yo-Kai Watch make a comeback. I hope that Pokèmon have some friendly competition with various monster franchises because Pokèmon doesn't own the word monster genre.
Started with red and blue and stoped playing with gold and silver. Im not a big fan of original Pokemon bcs its WAY to easy but what i have been playing for over 2000h is a fan Project named Pokemon Revolution online and its an MMO.

My favorite pokemon game is funny enough, Black/White, and then HeartGold.

Palworld is scratching the itch i had for more pokemon legends arceus, ive already got 80 hours in it. My only complaint so far is that crafting is way too slow and the pal ai is a bit stupid.
Considering it is still in Alpha I would say if that's your only complaint

I read all those as you scrolled through them. They want to support their fellow artists... say PalWorld only ripped off, stolen and plagiarized artists from fakemon artists & the Pokèmon company.

So you are saying fakemon and company artists make awful designs, ai generated designs and then PalWorld stole them??
Because if the artists had good designs and they got stolen, and PalWorld made them bad... it means they had to create the designs and not have them ripped from the source??
I know. Im getting to deep with trying to understand this individual. Just as a artist myself, who does a lot of creature concept art, and had dappled in fakemon. Hell, I've made fakemon since i was a kid.
But you understand multitudes of people can have similar ideas or create creatures or ideas from the same concept or source. When part of your idea for a game is to make your own creative spoof of creature capturing game; particularly from pokèmon without directly stealing mons. That you could believe these creatures could be future pokemon- the game did it's job correctly and their artist(s) had to work hard to design them. While others are humorously basic- which is the point. Just like pidgey being a basic bird or caterpie being a basic bug. Both straight off of nature.
Besides, that means you expect anybody to look through BILLIONS if not more creature designs, fakemon of online artists and more no matter how small they are and say You CaN't Make something tHaT iS clOsE tO tHe DeSiGn bEcaUse PlagiArIsM. If that was how things worked, nobody coyld make anything anymore. Especially with how these people take 2+ creatures, sometimes up to FIVE just to reference one creature in PalWorld.
I had made a creature from the inside out, point is shadowmane from Ark is similar to it. I didn't cry and kick my heels screaming plagiarism. There might be a lot of similarities, but there is differences too, and where our inspiration came from. I respect and think it's amazing. Besides, it leaves me with more fun as any shadowmane i tame I can pretend it's one of my quillion. But ranting over.

Favorite pokemon game is legends arceus, if we're excluding spinoffs, romhacks, and fan games. PmD Explorers of Sky, Theta Emerald Renev, and Mew You respectively for those categories.
My favorite fan game would be pokemon Rejuvenation that 13.5 update was fire.
