Love this effect, and I would say you are right with the amount 5% seems like plenty! I have a vintage lens with a very light fungus that gets a similar effect with light sources (you've inspired me to play around with this a bit more)

Vintage lenses are a real treat. I’m planning on a vintage video down the line. Yeah, 5% made a huge difference to me, I have not tried the others, but man, seems enough 😅✨it’s all style though. Looking forward to see yours🔥

I am a convert to these filters, I think what really enhances these is being used on fujifilm for their jpegs since they replicate the old film colour space as oppose to clinical 'natural' look, I honestly preferred a coloured look.
Getting another for my 55-200mm lens that i just received and looking forward to that, my edits tend to add bloom anyways but its so much nicer having a jpeg ready to go to share to the world with this effect, if people wonder why not just add it post production, sometimes the image just isnt worth an edit but its worth a share.

I have not tried this only using JPEGs yet. I will definitely try that. I’m taking it with me on a trip next week. I’ll take a day to shoot only jpeg and the filter, thank you ✨ -oh, and a 55-200mm lens(!) enjoy that 🤜✨🤛

I found that during the day I can use up to a level 1 BPM and love the look… but at night it’s kinda nuts lol

Yeah, these filters go a bit crazy with your light sources at night time 😆I guess it depends on what your going for, but I agree with you, it gets a bit too much, very fast.

Indeed, gets that Cinestill 800 vibe on the lightsources 💡
