You just cost me $60, dude.
Lol that’s just the start
same here😂
these images are stunning! this video was extremely helpful!
thanks brother appreciate that! glad it could help 🙏🏻
Saw this vid as I was also going through research. Thank you, this was a life/wallet saver. Also, love your photography work!
Really appreciate that thank you 🙏🏻
Are you still using it on a daily basis?
@@andremaionTbh not as much as I used to because I have switched to manual focus lenses and the filter thread just isn’t the same. I will use it more for video actually, but for photos unless I need that bloom or low contrast look ill usually hold off.
10 % it is .Thanks !
I do love that we all spend sometimes 1000’s on camera gear only to make the images look like old film photos 😂😂
Great looking results! Love the architectural photos even though you may not be shooting that style purposely. Excellent color tones! Looks like 10% filter will be my choice as well? lol! Great job!
thanks brotha glad it could help you out!
thank you for posting this. your pics are inspiring man. u just gained a new subscriber for sure
Christian thank you brother. I really hoped this helped you out. 🙏🏻
Loved the intro...I feel your pain.....It is hard to choose at first...
Haha thanks Gary. Camera gear problems. But then when you get it and it turned out to be the right one there’s no better feeling ☺️
I’ve been looking for years for a filter that would create a similar effect than the one I saw in the movie Vertigo, the 1st half in particular. It seems this is it. Can you recreate this in post, for video?
Absolutely. I’m not a huge videographer, but with the right color grading you can get the same look for sure.
Great video...definitely a vibe...but 10% is too smear-glow soap opera affect for me, personally. Too bad Moment discontinued the 5%...maybe a Black Promist 1/8 is comparable. Ultimately, I'd suggest most people to also consider glimmerglass to retain more details but still get varying degrees of halation in their highlights.
glimmerglass would be the next best for a lighter strength
So this answers my question which filter to get, now which size is the new issue. Wish Fuji's lenses at least shared a common size thread if at least for the fujicron lenses.
You can always get step up rings. Thats what I did.
Great video and very helpful. Stunning result in daytime. Mine i arriving tomorrow, hopefully will be able to get bangers photo and edits like yours.
thank you
you’re welcome :)
Wow as I sit here with the CineBloom 20% in my Moment cart and completely confused on which one to buy buuuut you just made it a lot easier. Going with 10% Respect+
glad it could help bro
Thank you. I was thinking about purchasing it, but this video was very helpful.
you’re welcome!
Man I love that VW bus shot!!
Haha thanks. The result of walking around for hours. Eventually you find a gem 🙏🏻
Very nice shots. Pictures have this vintage print look to them and that gives them tons of character. Came here because I bought a Moment VND used and the owner threw a Cinebloom 20% in the deal. Mainly interested for video, but I’m glad it looks great for stills too! I’m afraid that 20% might blow up the highlights a bit too much on a bright day but it might prove me wrong.
I just ordered the 10% for my Sony a6400+Sigma 30 1.4 combo.
You gonna love it!
Great video. Time for me to get one too. Paired with my a6000 + sony E35mm 18 oss.
You got a new subscriber!
thanks man! it’s a must have. waited too long to get one.
Would you recommend the 10% for a fujifilm x100v? I read somewhere that the "glow" intensity varies across lenses, so I am wondering if 5% might be enough to get this kinda look and 10% might be too much?
I would imagine they be very similar as the x100v is a 35mm full frame equivalent with an F2 and this samyang is also a 35mm equivalent with an f2.8. So basically f2vs f2.8, if theres any difference probably minimal imo.
so in sum i’d get the 10%.
@@xhynetuseinovski awesome, thank you so much!
youre welcome bro!
Yes i for sure got 2 of the 10%. They're magic. Now they have a 5% offering
solid mate! 5% might not be enough tbh to get the intended effect
I want this filter so much. But i use selp 1650 and moment don’t have that size. I need help pls !!!
Dude what were your settings with the filter on
Just aperture priority shooting in RAW bro
Needed this video, bro thank you
@@brandonlewis5678 if you’re in socal i’m selling it if you want it on the cheap
great video, thanks for the help :)
youre welcome brother!
If you threw in some film shots, I’d have a tough time differing the digi vs film. You got a subscriber.
Thanks Paul! That’s what I love about this filter. Films cool. I really appreciate the analogue-ness because I like a lot of other analogue things but it has become a “privilege” to shoot. This filter gets really darn close and it’s close enough for me. Thanks for subbin!
@@xhynetuseinovski I’ve been deciding between the 10 and 20. Your video has helped me make the decision to go with the 10.
Thank you so much! This was incredibly helpful, literally had both in my cart bc I was torn with indecision. Going with the 10%!
glad it could help!
Can you thread a polarizer of the same size on top? Could you stack the 10 and 20 to make a 30?
Yes you can stack multiple filters!
@@xhynetuseinovski thank you!
This has got me debating between Cinebloom 10 and GlimmerGlass 1, what would you say is better? (I prefer something that gives off a dreamy like look)
Personally have never tried the glimmerglass 1 but i do plan to get it soon. I believe the cinebloom 10% is stronger so that may give a more dreamy effect.
what film recipe did you use?
None bro. I shoot raw and edit myself. Sony doesn’t have recipes.
An honest surprise to see a good set of examples like these. Full range and no excessive vignettes or masks. Giving Eggleston vibes from some of the photos, but with less contrast because of the Cinebloom. Really helpful to see these kinds of sets and hope you do even more street portraiture (more eye contact and front-facing), your composition is solid and I think that'll push the strength of the photos even more.
thanks brotha appreciate that a lot!
lose the lofi garbage music please!
i can’t though
Photos are crazy good. Just subbed.
Thanks blake 🙏🏻
thanks! A big like for you
thank you
This was SO HELPFUL! Thank you!

Fantastic pictures!
That means a lot. Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you for this video!
Glad i can help :)
great video and photos
thank you really appreciate that 🙏🏻
Thx for the video. I ordered the 10% for my x100v today. Greetings from Malaysia 🇲🇾
Awesome! You're honestly going to love it!
This is literally the video of all videos
thanks bro but why lol. it was alright.
@@xhynetuseinovski it answered the question I was researching for like 2 hours lol
@@plantmanp haha thanks bro. glad it helped you out.
Amazing pictures, love the film look and colour palette!
thanks brotha
Neve thought about using it for harsh light...was gonna use it for night stuff
never know what could happen when you go out of your comfort zone :)
Mate you are doing such a nice chilled videos ! continue ...:) But Juut straightened your shots haha
thanks bruv 🙏🏻
Great video , I went with a 10 myself .
The ten has been perfect for almost everything! Thanks for watching bro.
Thank you!! How does it look for bright day street photography when you stack it with a polarizing filter?
I have only stacked it with an ND so far, so it’s hard to say.
@@xhynetuseinovski it looks great. I hate how digital my photos look and the shots you're getting really make it less digital. Just bought a 10% bc of your video. I feel the 20% is too much. Thank you so much!
For sure dude my pleasure. And with that lightroom hack you could always amplify the effect a bit more. Hope you enjoy it.
Thank you bro
no problem thank you for watching
Really great work well done
thanks mate 🙏🏻
Really thankyou. Now i buy 10%
glad i could help!
In which camera you have done shooting this video?
Sony A6400
Hi, If you have a 28mm lens is there a way to get the other size filters to fit on it? I'm not seeing that size available.
There is a filter thread number on the lens. Each lens has its own.
thanks for this bro. getting 10% cause of this!
My pleasure brotha
Thanks for making this video
It's my pleasure thank you
Love the boring/relax vibe.!
well thank you!
Those Shots man 🔥
Haha thanks :)
Enhorabuena, ¡ muy buen video !
🙏🏻🙏🏻 gracias
What are your thoughts about the 5%?
This is just my personal opinion, but after shooting with the 10% for about a month now I think that the strength is perfect for my style (street/candid). In other words, there was never a photo that I wanted the “glow” or softness dialed down. And lets say you did need to bring down the glow or bloom, you can easily do it with the clarity/dehaze slider. What do you mostly shoot?
Amazing work!
thank you bro 🙏🏻
@@xhynetuseinovski what's your Instagram page?

@@xhynetuseinovski 👌🏽
@@xhynetuseinovski I added you, I love the consistency in your photos! 🤜🏽🤛🏽👌🏽
I’m in the same page right now… lol
10% bro. 20% is tooooo much sauce.
@@xhynetuseinovski Okay, like 20% is way too exaggerated?
IMO. I went with 10 because it’s a comfortable middle ground.
@@xhynetuseinovski i just watched some other video, the equivalent of 10% is 1/4 of other brands and yeah it’s way too much . It has a place on a certain kinds of shoots/videos but definitely way too much blooms especially in harsh light.
You’re saying the 10% is too much? Watch my last video “street photography with a sharp prime” all those photos were taken with the 10% maybe it will give you a better idea.
When you stack another filter onto the Cinebloom, does the one you put on top have to be the same size in mm? Just making sure
Yes so which ever size you bought is what will fit on top.
What setting did u used on the camera ?
Camera was A6400 with the Samyang 24mm f2.8. Shot in manual mode. Iso always at 100. Various f-stops and shutter speeds. Show in raw with slight edits.
@@xhynetuseinovski i got a canon M50 and I’m using the filter whit a canon 24mm 2.8f but I don’t know when I transfer the Picts to the light room I don’t see any difference between using the filter and without the filter
if there aren’t any sharp highlights it can be pretty subtle.
brilliant video.
thank you 🙏🏻
