A lot of people who dream of a beach house have never owned one... I have for a decade and it is the unrelenting winds and the salt attacking the property leading to continual maintenance that has me selling up.....great to come back for a holiday once in a while but no regrets heading to the country.
Good job with the video I agree with everything you guys said. I think it’s about what you can and afford to spend on the house some people have a lot and some not so much $. I will be 58 years old when we build our house in the small village north Khon kaen we are doing a three bedroom low set house about 2 million Bart as you say we are all different. The cost of living here in Australia 🇦🇺 is so high and very hard to save and we have a ok income here in Brisbane. Thanks Jay and ploy 👍🙏
It's your money so you can choose what you do with it. However a bad investment, is still a bad investment, no matter how much money you have, in my opinion. I totally agree with you that you need to take the time at a location to really work out where you want to retire/live. As you said, you can get bored in any location in the world if you don't have things or friends that you have an interest in. I think it is on you, that if anyone is going to move to a foreign country, that they make the effort to learn the language, as we would expect someone coming to our country to do. I haven't met a Thai person in Australia, who doesn't speak English. A place is what you make of it wherever it is, and you will get in return what you make of it. Good luck with your endeavours
Well I have a large house a smaller house a swimming pool a large garage solar been here 2 years very happy invited you round a year ago but you where busy would not think to move anywhere else
I will be following your project/adventure ! Hope everything goes well !
Thank you! Welcome 🙏

Good video Jay and Ploy. It's important to spend time and research the area where you want to build before you pull the trigger...good advise.

You built that house for your in-laws and their extended family you silly fool 😢
In-laws and extended family already have their house. I have a LIFETIME land usufruct including the house you silly fool 😢
You should only buy a house if you happy to live there
Happy to live there or happy to make money 🙏
