What is REBT/CBT? | How the ABC model can help you feel unstuck

  • Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) is a branch of CBT that was developed by Albert Ellis, based on a stoic philosophy that human beings are not disturbed by things but by the view they take of them. In this video, we will look at the ABC Model within REBT to bring awareness to our unhelpful negative thoughts, emotions and behaviours and change them to be more flexible and positive.

    Hey I have a problem. I overthink and get anxiety from it. But the problem is once my overthinking thoughts subside my anxiety is still there for like the rest of the day or more Even tho I’m not overthinking or thinking anxious thoughts can you give me advice please. Thank you
