You have become one of my go-to hi-fi channels, I sure hope to see you grow in numbers as your videos are to the point, descriptive and most importantly, have zero nonsense or dad jokes. As for channel imbalance, I don't have this unit but it sure is something that drives me away from analog volume pots, I always look for digitally controled volume knobs like on my SMSL M300SE, love that unit!
Hi thanks for the tube tips.. i have just bought one and im using it with a Quad era1 via the 4.4mm and yes there's an unbalanced volume level at very low volumes..all in all i have to say its behaving ok for what it is ..very practical.. I am waiting for a my new sennheizer hd660s2 found them new at 390euros 🤩 will probably be a better fit ..i have the impression the planar needs a pure solid state in order to control them properly.
@@RickRuizAudio Alternative check is to listen to microphonics in more realistic scenarios: typing on mechanical keyboard or flipping switches on the device

Thanks Ed! I appreciate you watching 🙏

Channel imbalance is normal on those cheap devices at low volume. It's an attenuator. They do that.
Thanks!
Thanks
You're welcome!

Glad you're liking it Antonio. Yeah, for the price, it's solid. Enjoy your new headphones too. And thanks for watching 👍
Cool little component
I think so as well, Chris. Thanks for watching 👍
There is a way to avoid microphonics. You simply don't poke the amp with your finger 👌
Hey Igor, Agreed. That was an example. I was pointing out that some are just worse than others 👍 Thanks for watching.

@@IgorPetruk1989 good point. I was thinking maybe pulling the headphone cord. Next time I'll try that.
No other digital inputs than USB? That’s a miss for me.
Yeah, I think they really did design this one to be used with a computer. I would have loved a Toslink input as well.
Mine MT604 bra, 4 pentodes All bal in or out only ...Peace!
I still have to check that one out. 👍
