This relatively new music you've been using lately for sound tests is impeccable. The intro and the way the piano introduces the main melody make it prefectly suitable for exposing the differences between different setups. I enjoyed both A and B and found the differences to be very subtle. Wouldn't be able to choose. Most of the kit you've been testing has similar characteristics, which is good news, for it means that most companies take seriously the sound quality when making a new product...
How does the XDUOO XA02 sound compared to the Topping D50mk3? Both of the dacs are detailed but just wondering which one will have the edge. I’m thinking the Topping but I do like this one to, looks industrial. After listening again to the A/B, B has a bigger bottom.
Correct me if i am wrong but the Smsl raw dac 1 costs 520€ and the XDUOO xa-02 costs 200€. The price difference is big. The performance is very close. You should had not used the bass boost, because it shows!!! Without the bass boost they would sound even more close!!!!

I must admit I’ve been eying up (sorry couldn’t help it) the Xduoo TA20 Plus and the Xduoo xd05 pro for a hot minute now. Might have to see (that’s the last time I promise) what next year brings! I don’t think either of the models in this video are for me though, as I don’t really like buying DACs/Amps without analogue inputs. All the best fella!

I thinking that SMSL has more merged sound in MID and a little bit HI range. xDuoo sound in more clearly. 🖐️

I struggled to hear any difference between the two there on the iPad.
The test should have been done with the base boost OFF.
Think B is much better 🥊🥊🥊
