Making gold with ACCOUNT BOUND items

- When playing Guild Wars 2, it's easy to get overwhelmed by the amount of items that you'll acquire during a single gaming session. Luckily, Arenanet as given us some tools, such as the "Deposit All" button, which deposits all our crafting materials in our Material Storage.
Our storage isn't endless, though, and at some point you'll have to face the music and sort through all of the different items, crafting materials, and currencies. It's easy to dismiss the vast majority of those, when they don't seem to have any vendor value, or few crafting recipes.
Simply deleting everything won't technically hurt you, but you'll be wasting a lot of gold. Because when you do some research, you'll soon notice a lot of account bound, or seemingly worthless items can be converted to another ingredient, component, or item altogether and sold for good profit.
In this video I'll update some of my old(er) recipes, add a few new account bound items to the mix, and include some Living World Season 3 and 4 currencies that you don't want to consume. Because you could be making more gold when you use them for crafting, instead of Unbound or Volatile Magic.

I've been crafting jeweled damask patches for over a year by this point, the price goes up and down, but its almost always more than the regular damask patch or the individual components. The jeweled deldrimor steel dowel you HAVE to check the price of regular deldrimor dowels, deldrimor steel ingots and spiritwood planks and calculate yourself it is is worth it - it can actually sell for LESS than the regular dowel or the sum of its parts depending on the market. Just note that crafting either items frequently WILL kill your obsidian shard supply eventually and you have to get the shards with karma or, my current method, unbound magic.
Oh, very good points! Thanks!
Jeweled Damask has been a godsent indeed, I started doing Matriarch purely for Airship oil, but now often find myself wandering around Verdant Brink for some quick events as well :D
Great video as always! Didn't know about a few of these :D
Thank you! Some of them were due for an update, and I figured I might share a few more as well :)
Thanks for another well researched video; my only constructive criticism would be to make your screenshots and images larger so that I don't have to squint 😁
Thank you! And duly noted! It's sometimes easy to forget when editing on a larger screen :D

Omg I always wondered why the Rare Medallions had buyers….
They've saved me quite a bit of gold lately :)
You didn't state what site is used to compare demand ect
Thanks! Fixed the video description
Thanks, ur videos are great btw ur farming mats ones have helped me alot to have a stable gold income. Keep up the great content!
nice video! but too complicated and time consuming for what u get at the end… better you do daily fractals with recs, trains, strikes, raids and so on.
Thanks!
I understand this type of video might be attractive for newbies, but seriously, get rid of most of these materials. The time required to craft, sell and so on can be better spent playing and farming gold if you really want to. Also you waste room in your inventory. Simply not worth it (most of them).
Agree don't waste your time, convertors is all what you need, other trash better delete or sell to vendor😂
Well, not get rid outright, but extract whatever value can be gotten without a big hassle, everything except the damn pepper has some.

Be anet
Add chili peppers, one of the most commonly used spice in the real world
Add barely any useful recipes for it.
Anet: My work here is done.
To be fair there are other chili peppers in the game with better recipes, but still.
