Another thing you can do with account-bound mats is sell motivations! Run rifts for essence, then craft it into a motivation. Check profit margin on gw2efficiency for the best option. Make sure to factor in the cost of research notes.

You'll probably want to use gw2bltc.com! Search for the item you're researching and scroll down for the graph. Red lines are buy orders, purple lines are sell orders.
Personally I zoom the graph out to 1 week, then click the buy orders on the legend to remove that part of the graph. This should give you a decent view to determine which prices players are likely to buy your weapon at and how frequently sales happen.

Many fail to see or understand, U are supposed to play MMO for long time BUT many of them are lazy fks and want something to get in 2-3 days.
Not everyone is lazy. Some people want a sense of reward. Imagine if you went to work for 6 months before you got paid and your boss just called you lazy because you wanted a 1/week reward. That is what it can be like for guild wars players.

@@michaelgoodman8849 that's why there's this old saying: "if you love your job you will never work a day in your life". if GW2 is like work for you.... then you missed the point.
Sorry but the only way to get more of your game time is to get a mini job in real life and buy gems with money and convert them to gold. Every other method costs too much time as this game is designed to not make fun so people pay the gemstore.
You are correct that the highest gold per hour is McDonalds. And if you can't find a way to make in-game goldmaking enjoyable and you don't live in a country with a weak economy, you should do that!
Personally, I fall into the first group. I live in the States and life is good: I could swipe and make my gold that way without impacting my quality of life at all. I get a lot satisfaction out of making and selling stuff though, so I personally find the legendary crafting route fun. On the other side of things, I know a few very wealthy players who live in the Philippines, where the box price of GW2 is a significant dent in their income. If they want to get anything from the gemstore, they'll need to get it with gold.
I'll add further that, I've played almost every other mmorpg for the past 20+ years from everquest and WoW to black desert and final fantasy 14. I say that because GW2 requires far less grinding for the necessities and gold than most other mmorpgs, longstanding or not from my personal experience
What a weird comment on a video that is clearly for people who want to make use of what they have on their account to turn into gold.
You aren't wrong though.Drops have been made to be absolute garbage or average. YOur hopes of really good drops are almost nil. Game play to make money is hella repetitive and monotonous. They watch people for farming too easily and will even suspend a person's account for suspecting you are cheating, even if you are not. They also have people cruising the forums to clown anyone who says bad things about the game. If you don't believe me, criticize the game on a forum and watch these like 6 ppl come out of the woodwork. When they do they will often belittle and gaslight you. When they do, look at their past comments and you will see all their comments are like this.
I spend 20 dollars on gems a month. It's around 400-500g a month. It's more than enough for me.
