If you’re playing WvW for legendary armor and/or Conflux and end up with extra gifts of battle, you can do the non repeatable reward tracks instead that can give you anywhere from 6-14 mystic clovers per completion. A total of 103 clovers from 13 different ones. (Though one of them is the guildrider track which costs 200 gold to unlock)
Also once you finish one gift of cantha on a character, you can light lanterns for future gifts of cantha using blish. It takes about 30 min to do each map with blish; and join a Levi farm so that as you do things in the maps you can hop over to a spawned Levi for a quick chunk of ambergris.
Spirit shards for the lodestones! Hot dayum, never even thought of that and here I was buying them like some chump :P 11 years in and you are STILL teaching me effective work-arounds, love it
Side note about spirit vestibule - your jade bot protocol procs every tick of damage in the maze as long as you aren't in combat, so it basically gives you a nearly permanent aegis block against those yellow circles, as well as perma swift/etc. Also aside from fishing/levi the seitung meta chest gives 1 ambergris and doesn't really take very long (if you do the west lane of the pre event you will almost certainly complete the heart on that side as well, if you care about that), so you can do that every day if you wish - its might be the most leeched meta in EoD judging by the amount of people afk outside the boss.
Just to clarify the ambergris comes from the daily meta chest (like the VB matriarch one), you can pick other stuff from it as well (like the usual amalgamated gemstone which is a REALLY bad choice compared to the ambergris)
Thanks for the guide! Especially the tips on how to quickly complete things, busy ppl like myself can make more of my time in game with this juicy knowledge, so thank you! have a great day :)
You can get 4 more antique summoning stone by completing each of the EoD strike cm’s. KO and HT are harder to do, but the AH and XJJ are only as hard as the HT normal mode.
For the ambergis you can fish 6 times two times a day, so totally 12 fishs at the south pond in Gyala Delve. Most of the days I get like 2-4 legendary fishs!
Seeing this video now makes me smile since I just recently made 2 legendarys ALMOST the way you explained them 16 hours ago. As of wrinting this comment your video is out for 15 hours :D
The only thing I would disagree with is not buying clovers from vendors, more specifically the raid exchange vendor. At 2 mystic coins per clovers you are essentially buying a guaranteed 50% craft rate instead of the usual 28-30% from the mystic forge. Yes you don't get materials back but keep in mind some of these mats will be cheaper ones like bolts of gossamer ancient wood planks and so on
you loose the raid/fractal currency though... I would not directly advise to do so. For fractals e.g. you could invest those currency to get the omnipotion first, or even the titles, which nets you more currency in the long run. for raids, you can get infusions for them, which sell for quite some gold. Maybe it is still better, than transforming mystic clovers with the mystic forge, but is is not obviously and clearly an advantage.
I see your point. Personally, I'd advise using the vendors if you have limited materials (i.e., you need 10 clovers out of 20 mc). Overall, the MF is the better deal if fast farming 's data adds up. But the RNG-ness is the clear tradeoff, and I'd totally understand anyone not wanting to subject themselves to that.
Thank you!, you just gave me motivation and a reason to start EoD, Finished IBS 2 months ago, but never really felt like i wanted or needed to start EoD for some reason, just kept doing IBS Metas, farming, achievements and HoT Metas. I really like my fantasy mmos as "fantasy" so when i found out that cantha was literally a korean insert, it was such a turn off for me.
Hmm if I want just a legendary its very easy now to get the first generation ones but this routine here can help me too to finally spend all the eod mastery points.
It all seems so easy and it probably is - but I just can't get my ass over there to do these things. For me it'll be a slow grind for my last legendary weapons... But that's ok. Maybe I loot a rare infusion one day and just buy the legendaries you guys make x)
i actually started making relevant gold a year ago, when i started making gen1 leggys and sold them on tp. did that with the moot and eternity. Luckily i dropped chak egg sac mere hours after eternity was sold. Eternally freed of the necessity to grind for gold, i actually did not sell it, but transformed it into the infusion and wear it, until I need the money. The beauty of infusions is, you can use it and still sell it, if you need. Value raised from 9k Gold to 12 k gold since then. With my steady income from alt-parking, weekly wizards vault and playing the game, there was no need to sell yet.
I’m currently doing the fishing collections to get ancient ambergris and you get a bunch just from fishing since you need to catch the ascended and legendary fish (leggies guarantee one and ascended have a chance for one) I’ve gotten like 40 and I’ve only done like 2 and a half collections Edit: also I’ve never really done fishing before and it’s a fun new thing in gw2
There's no achievement or anything needed, but you will need to buy the recipes for the precursors if you intend to craft those (as opposed to buying them). You can also make Gen 1 without the achievements, by the way. Those are mainly to get a precursor, but most of the achievements (Carcharias has been an exception lately) are actually more expensive than buying the precursors off the TP.
What I’ve done is made gen 3 sold them on the tp then buy orders for any GEN1 I don’t have when the new starter kits drop. So I usually sell for ~2.3k and buy for ~1.7k. It’s only about 100-200g profit, but at the same time it’s using half the cost of mystic clovers and it seems easier for some reason. I don’t really like the gen 3 skins that much anyways. 😅 so it’s a good trade
Another great video. Been working on other legendaries (armor and accessories) as I always thought the Aurene legendary weapons were way out of my reach, but looks like it's a lot more doable than I thought! I see you talk about the Bjora Marches chests and turning them into volatile magic for trophy shipments. I've been doing that for a couple months now and I'm noticing that it's really starting to burn through my karma reserves. I do the Winterday karma farm every year which gives quite a bit, but wanted to know if there are any other good ways to get karma reliably? Or just keep doing metas and playing the game and hope you earn enough passively to make up for the drain?
Thanks! I was surprised at how attainable they are, too. I feel you on the karma reserves. I mainly farm karma in LWS4, but you need to unlock the map upgrades. Sandswept and istan are quite dense in terms of mobs. I'll eventually document some spots though.
@@Silentstrike46_With Karmic Retribution unlocked I get 150-200k karma without boosters in one full Dragonfall run, especially if it includes instance hopping. And it also gives like 4k Volatile Magic if you eat all the Mistborn Motes.

Not sure if it's just me, but the mystic forge was terrible to me last time I tried making mystic clovers. I needed 120 clovers which would have cost 360 coins, spirit shards, and obsidian, plus the ecto tax from lyhr. I crafted them in the mystic forge and it took over 500 coins, spirit shards, and obsidian. Terrible RNG. And this was shortly after lyhr was introduced to the game so i wondered if they messed with the forge drop rate. You might get other mats instead of clovers with the forge recipe but they almost never add up to the cost of the coins you have to use. Twice during that failed forge marathon I got 50 mystic coins instead of 10 clovers which was nice, but ultimately it cost me way more to use the forge than just buying them from lyhr (who I use as my example because he is the only unlimited source).
Oof, yeah. That's a bad streak of luck. I recently had a spell of bad RNG as well, but it eventually was followed by 6x10 clovers in a row. I do agree that if you have limited materials, vendors like Lyhr do become more attractive to ensure you don't overspend.
@phandrel I am glad to see that it was a bad luck streak, as I have always crafted my clovers in the past. I wondered if they introduced Lyhr and dropped the success rate on purpose to try to drive ectos up. Now that I see just how involved ectos are in all Soto crafting I realize that probably isn't the case. Either way, you have given me reason enough to try again. I will need another 50 clovers here very soon. I will give the mystic forge a chance to redeem itself! Thanks for your videos!
@@nytros_realm i had similar bad luck once, if i remember correctly 150 clovers and it took me more than 3 stacks of mystic coins, luckily they were much cheaper back than...as were ectos. Really nice video. For Imperial Favor, I just do meta trains (twice a week), but going to try this way. I was thinking about t6 mats, and well, thinking about the Bjora farm for eternal ice shards converting to volatile and troph shippments... So, does that way really worth instead of just farmng gold and buying t6 on TP?
Thanks! Metas are probably the fastest way. You could always mix and match depending on your schedule, of course :). The trophy shipments are definitely worth it. Right now, they will net you a 1.15g profit per shipment on average. If gathering isn't your thing, farming gold other ways will be more fun, though. So make sure you do what you enjoy, regardless of what I recommend.
Great, I didn't know about a few things, so thanks to them maybe I'll finally start collecting IF for another weapon. 😅 I was listening while I was at work and I might have missed something, so I'll add that EoD Expedition Contract may be a good option for passively gaining IF. Awesome! Oh yeah, the board is actually a very good point! Especially since it's 0 effort. Technically, the maths work in your favor in the forge vs buying.
