Something that I would like the emphasize not mentioned in the video, is Megumin's willinginess to take responsibility for her passion. This is shown well in the episode where she joins the party practically begging Kazuma to keep her in the party and willing to do menial work just to get by. Explosion magic is not protrayed to be very useful in the anime but is Megumin's passion regardless. This closely resembles the time I was becomeing a late teen, learning about personal responsibilities, having to prioritize the important things, but also being stuborn and not wanting to give up my passions and interests, with the full intent of taking responsibility for the time and money i spend on them. Other than that, ok-ish video. I would say write with your audience in mind. The majority of people clicking on a video with this title have already watched konosuba, we don't need full recaps of events and characters as if we've not seen the show.
Thanks for the comment it was very informative, and I defo agree with your point on her willingness to take responsibility, I tried to stay more vague for my own subscriber base (channels general anime not specific to any series like konosuba) but yeah I do get your point I could have trimmed off some fat in this one but I think I’ve improved if only slightly in my Kazuma video and will use your feedback when writing the aqua and darkness videos, thanks for the comment man I appreciate it
Honestly, I'm with you when it comes to Kazuma using Explosion. Everything was put in place for it to make sense so seeing it happen at the end was cathartic as all hell and I could only think of how Megumin would react when she heard that Explosion was the spell that killed the Demon King. And, ever since I read that Akatsuki Natsume, the author, had thought about making a after-story/ volume 18 called "The Counter-Attack of Satou Kazuma" I have been checking his social media accounts at least twice a week since I just want more of this world and these 4 idiots that never seem to learn their lesson.
The short story at volume 17 has her and kazuma going out. Each of the 3 short stories is in one of the girls perspective and that one is in megumin's perspective.
I just finished the light novel and I've found these vids of yours, I appreciate how you discuss light novel events since I haven't seen many do any commentary/analysis past the movie, aka volume 5.
@@SephTheSin Definitely. Well, you can't blame 'em. Personally, I'd like it if season 3 gets announced and then the domino effect starts with 1 season per year. I also wouldn't mind a 2-cour season. There is also more opportunity to make two more movie adaptations imo, volume 14 and, quite frankly, volume 17 would be especially fitting for a movie. Explosions was great, volume 14 can serve as the source material for explosions 2, and it would be kind of cool to see a movie as the finale. You could definitely make a great feature film based off of volume 17. I'm getting ahead of myself, but I am allowed to dream!
Any continuation of the anime be it a season or a movie would be a dream for me, I love the light novel to bits but the anime is such an amazing adaptation and enhances everything so much

I would also like to point out that they complement each other in also another way: Megumin ultra specializes in one spell and Kazuma has endless skills and spells to back her up

I mean if we are speaking realistically the DK was injured slightly weakened by Aqua sealing his power (could be wrong about that) and took a point blank explosion in a dungeon where he was then buried alive, however yes I agree Kazuma is the king of the explosion magic

Yeah the Konosuba fanbase is almost entirely anime only so it’s quite hard to find other people who have read the light novels 😅
