Just had me a Gixxer 250, made in India, only preload on the rear but love it, makes my old CBR600 feel like a bus.

Had a CBR 250. Sold it. Got a Ninja 300. Love it. Loved both. 250-400 is amazing.

@@orishaphotos481 : Nice one, think it's the light weight that makes them more fun, esp to ride in town and they have just enough power too, where I am the max for motorcycles even on the motorway is 80kph/50mph..

Top notch content, even if i've watched ergonomics setup guides in other videos its good to have a reminder to re-evaluate my positioning. In my case i will have to raise the clutch and brake lever angles back towards horizontal a tad . Also weirdly I thought I would like a straighter position for the clip-ons but seems like i prefer the more tapered in position the stock setup came with.

ha! I have a Kawasaki ER-6F from 2016 that is almost identical to the bike you're adjusting

As good as this content is, it's still abstract to me... the only time the Missus lets me near her N400 is to lube the chain or change the oil.
She sure does love that thing.
Almost as much as her SV650S... wait, Mr. Moss has a video about the suspenders on that as well. Hope she doesn't see that vid, or it's hours more for me in the dungeon putzing with springs and oil and all.

What are your thoughts on r7? Have you ridden one?

Would've helped to be more clear for novices such as myself about adjusting handlebars forward and back (you cant, safely, on a ninja 400 it turns out without getting aftermarket clipons).

I don't like the shape of the tank on the 400. I don't feel like I can get my knee locked in very well. Tank grips would be an absolute necessity for me. I'm fine with the pegs and foot levers, but I would need to move them back and up a bit, so the cheap answer is relocation plates. And for hard riding, I think a new shock is necessary. I also think I would need, at a minimum, to install something like Racetech gold valves in addition to new springs. Fork cartridges would be better but 3-4x the cost.

100% on the tank. Even withh techspech grips, it still feels odd.. i have to tuck my outside knee lower to feel secure
