Morning! The ice creaks as it’s moving. When it’s creaking it means it’s not stable and is likely to make a big move soon. Later that night, the rest of the ice shed off the roof. 😊

@sandijammes7761 it’s actually a normal nighttime event at our cabin. The first year I about peed myself. But now I’m used to it. You just wake up, say “roof shed”, turnover go back to sleep. It’s pretty loud. Same scenario when there’s an earthquake. 💕

About 50% of the houses in Willow are just covered in house wrap. We are too busy shoveling to put up siding. Ha! It’ll be a long while before actual siding goes up. 😊Be blessed my sweet friend.

Helllloooo Mike, we do make our own mayo if it’s going to be a specialty mayo, like spicy mayo, or curried mayo, or for salad dressing. But this time we just use store-bought mayo.

Hey Paula and Jason, I hadn’t made potato salad that way before. But it turned out so great! I think I’m out of those marinated roasted peppers now though. They are awesome in salads and in making nacho cheese sauce, pretty much straight out of the jar they’re awesome. Ha!

I will tell you I am 55 and 350 lbs of man and each of my doctors looks at my heart they almost fall off their chair because I am a big old guy like and have no blocks or plak in the heart and they look at me and ask how and tell them garlic I eat lots of garlic and it keep your heart clean so as I out live more people it because I eat the right food and keep eating that garlic it good for you lol and we want you guys around for a long time

Hello fabulous Dee! Sometimes TH-cam will hold comments back for me to review to make sure they’re appropriate or not. And most cases there’s nothing wrong with the comment and then I approve it. I just checked my comments and I don’t see any comments held for you right now. But there are plenty of words that are blocked. And what that means is that if you use a word that can be construed as inappropriate or possibly unkind, then TH-cam will automatically kick your comment out. I understand that your comments are always kind, but if there was a word in it, that could be used in a different way to be hurtful, TH-cam may be blocking your comment completely. And sometimes TH-cam just does weird stuff. Ha! If you still have this problem, you can email me the comment and I can let you know if there are any words in there that are blocked. And maybe we can investigate that way. I have had some of my comments be removed on my livestock salt video, because I try to help people understand where they can get the research to determine whether that salt is safe for human consumption or not. That’s the only time I’ve had my comments just completely disappear. Hope this helps.

We don’t, it gets softened in the parboiling. Reeve says the real reason is that we paid for that part, we ain’t taking it off. Ha!
What kind of kickback are you getting from Lowe’s? I hope they’re going to give you all the siding for free since you featured their product throughout the video. Yes I know, I’m a dreamer.
Right?! we’re not sure exactly about the siding, but it’ll be custom. And not just store-bought. And it probably won’t happen for a couple years. It’s just not at the top of the list right now.

Is it advisable to wrap your house with mouldy patches?
Good question, that’s not mold on the walls. The wood just gets gray because it’s unfinished and becomes “weathered” just like old docks and old barns are gray it’s just the wood losing its natural color. But you’re absolutely right. It would be a horrible idea to put a moisture barrier around something that was molding. Be blessed friend. Thanks for thinking of us.
