Assuming he does win this case, I feel like this is kinda helping this career, atleast in terms of the public opinion on him. I don't know if he will go back to Disney, or if they will even ask him to come back but I don't know if that matters. Did we really need a 4th Pirates? I would argue no, we don't but I also haven't even seen the 3rd one because the second one was so corny (but I did like the first). I have watched a lot of the Depp v. Heard case and I don't think I have seen one comment even giving Amber Heard the benefit of the doubt. I understand the jury isn't seeing all this online content so we don't know what they will decide, I'm just saying it seems like this case has kind of rekindled people's love for him. Especially because during this case, he has really come across as authentic and pretty quick witted at times. He also seems respectful of the "normies" in the courtroom. I don't think anyone sees him as perfect (and that's reasonable) but I think people do see him as flawed, but overall, a good man and father.

The real issue is what personality disorder did Chaim have? Was he a psychopath? A sociopath? A narcissist?
I have C-PTSD not BPD, from severe trauma being sexually abused as a child, neglected by my father after my mum died, and severe battered wife syndrome and PTSD from the abuse from my husband.
I was unequivocally the victim in that relationship and still I never once wanted my husband dead. I just wanted him to be good to me and good to other people.

    Excellent video and summary,Dr.Grande,as usual.
Alchohol and cocaine are the cool drugs.
Get caught with both and society says,"That's ok,we all use it."
    Well,no we don't.
Both used drugs to excess to provide them a distorted reality to live in.
The doctor who prescriibed her the seroquel probably told her "don't drink or do any other drugs while you are on this" and she probably replied ," sure, doc, sure",fully intending to self medical on all three as soon as possible.
At some point,a man who is twenty four years older has to say,"You can't come back."
But ,apparently,he rather enjoyed her repeated return sessions.
Until she returned the favor twice with a knife.
I feel like he asked for this .
And I do think as he was dying,he knew if his son attacked her,his son would die right in front of him.
His request likely saved his sons life.
But there is no honor in that.
He repeatedly risked his sons life with many years of alchohol and cocaine fuelled behavior and by encouraging and indeed paying for his mentally challenged 24 year younger partners drug fueled instability.
He created her and he paid the price.
I hope she is under court ordered drug testing for sevral decades so she is forced to make good on the statement,"I don't use alchohol or drugs anymore."
Maybe men should find a life partner closer their age and not use alchohol and drugs in the first place so they can see this coming in the first date, not the last stab.

Seroquel-induced psychosis is a super real concern. However, it generally only occurs when the medication is first introduced to a person. It is unlikely that someone who has been taking Seroquel over a period of time will suddenly develop a psychosis from it where none existed during prior doses of the medication.
Also, the Seroquel munchies are next level. They put the ouid munchies to shame. Maybe she just got really hungry and her husband looked like a snack.

in my case, i was severely underweight, so i’ve never looked more healthy than i do now
however, it has affected me negatively in other ways
like aggravating my existing tachycardia, as well as increasing my cholesterol and blood glucose levels
still-and maybe those who also take this medication can sympathize-the drowsiness is UNBEARABLE 😪

She just said she felt safe with me, some nights we just layed there talking and bonding. Others were more...physical 😌

"Dynamics of Abuse": We know that for every action in the world there is an equal and opposite reaction. This is one of the so-called "Laws of Motion" in Newton's physical theory. So let's look at the abuse committed against Danielle and see if her reactions to it count as "equal but opposite reaction." (1) sexual abuse when Danielle was between 7-11. (2) death of her mother at age 11. (3) Danielle runs away for fear of grandparents. (4) she was drinking and was kicked out of the house at 14. Skip ahead ten years when her sister dies falling off a cliff. (5) Danielle's step-brother dies from an aneurysm. (6) Chaim was a stabilizer until he started using cocaine and alcohol in order to enjoy himself. (7) Danielle begins to "react" to these abuses. The reactions are not of the appropriate magnitude. Soon there would be a proportionate response. (8) two abortions, from different sperm donors. Dear reader, when do we hold someone like Danielle responsible after witnessing the hellish experiences she suffered? (9) Chaim had had dinner with Danielle but he went on to visit a friend. Danielle intoxicated. "Back and forth, back and forth." The Third Law of Motion. When one body impacts another body the force of the impact must have a proportionate reaction. As you can see, murder is a minor offense compared to the types of things she suffered. The defense rests. Thanks for reading.

  • @QuasiELVIS

2nd degree murder isn't a thing in Australia, in most Commonwealth countries it's just murder or manslaughter. The "degree" comes out in sentencing.

    • @bettyblueparis
      @bettyblueparis ปีที่แล้ว

No, the level of intent and the dropping of a murder charge to manslaughter hinges on the partial defenses. There are several full defenses which lead to a not guilty and an aquittal, then there are several partial defenses which bring a murder charge down to manslaughter. In my case it was an 'unlawful and dangerous act' which the jury accepted and found me not guilty of murder but guilty of manslaughter. No intent was implied in this partial defense.
Had I pled guilty to self defense, that's actually a complete defense in Australia and had I been successful I would have been aquitted. Because I have no recollection of Chaim allegedly throwing me against Jordan's door, the apparently hitting me so hard I fell to the floor in the lounge room right before the offense, I could have had a perfectly valid self defense case. But because of the Seroquel induced fugue and psychosis I don't have any memory of Chaim hitting me. I only have Jordan's statement he did. So I refused to plead to any self defense because that would be lying and saying I remember something happening that I unfortunately have zero recollection of.
So this 'no memory' defense actually didn't help me, it hurt my case. If I had known Chaim was assaulting me I'd probably would have gotten an aquittal.
However I don't remember and wasn't prepared to lie saying I did, so it played out how it played out with jail time for me, but still a resounding manslaughter verdict and unequivocal not guilty of murder.

My take..it was the drugs and alcohol. If she was combining cocaine with alcohol explains how she was able to survive 5 times the legal limit. But in that state of alteredstate blackouts no doubt could be a side effect. Not to minimize the older rich partners death but he could have prevented both drug and alcohol use early on but sounds like he didn't. He bought it and used it. Would be curious to learn his toxicology and if it played any part into the lesser crime reduction. Bottom line don't play with fire. Have a drink with a meal and stop there...mix drugs with high levels of spirits and one's bound to release the evil spirit instead of the happy chill experience. JMHO.

As someone who used to get drunk pretty frequently, blackout is a common thing and many people dont understand that it actually happens
I usually drink something like 20+ beers or 1+ liter of vodka, or any equivalent in a different drink, to get drunk. Next day, I remember almost nothing after about the 10th beer, or maybe about 2 hours before I eventually pass out. I could have seemed not too drunk, but I wont remember anything after a certain point. A lot of things I do when really drunk make absolutely no sense to me later the next day ( thankfully I am not aggressive).
I believe blackouts only happen to people who drink a lot in a short time period. You see, most people, after drinking a bit, feel tired and go to sleep, but for some people alcohol acts as a stimulant and they just keep drinking until they just pass out.
just pointing out that its common not to remember a thing... and a blackout is common for heavy drinkers. Matter of fact, every time a heavy drinker drinks, he/she will have a blackout, because he/she will drink heavily

He killed his little sister when he was 18 and immediately called the police, in fact he called them 3 times to make sure they came. He calmly explained what he did and gave his reasons (he said his sister was being abused, and there are more details but he determined that killing her was the only solution since he couldn't kill the abuser). People were labeling him a psychopath in the comments, despite the fact that (imo) he showed remorse and emotions, he said he knew there would be consequences and that he did it to help. The interrogation is on youtube.
