OMG! This is so cute! Scratch's disgusted snarking about Ollie being too perfect was hilarious!
One minor detail you missed is Molly and Ollie not having their shoes off. The show takes great pains to have the characters not wear shoes indoors.

@@curticcarmichael3580 they're Asian. In Asian households they have their shoes near the front door so they can quickly take them off and put them on when entering or leaving the house.
This feels right out of the show. The writing, the visuals, and the voices. Everyone did a fantastic job.

I could see Molly returning the favor in the lost Season 3 where Ollie would become the new Chairman. He'd get a bit tired from working so hard, Molly would give him a nice "care day". Having him shower, give him hot chocolate, snuggle with him in a blanket/pillow fort.

@@jellystone07 I know they did an episode about periods I’ve watched the entire series I mean specifically how this video played out. It’s between a couple specifically with a boy helping the girl out with her period. This is something very normal as well as intimate that happens with couples but I’d doubt Disney would ever go this far because they feel it’s too mature. We’ve only just begun to have periods being shown in tv or cartoons for kids but it’s always just “omg the first time I have periods idk what’s going on” and it’s their parents or female friend to help. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a scene like this where it’s a male that’s not related to her helping out which I think is really cool about this animatic.

Wow... it looks like an official TGAMM animation. I really wish that the creators could wait with releasing "The End" for the season 3.
"The End" actually WAS planned to be the end for s3, but due to Disney not marketing the show well, the show didn't gain a big enough audience for s3 and it got cut short

@@RightBoyKA-POW It really does, they had very interesting plots planned for s3 as shown with the scrapped scripts (Ollie was gonna be chairman and lose memories, Patty was gonna die but never go to the ghost realm, Libby was gonna experience writer's block, etc.) And I am still a litle upset we didn't get to see them

@@grzegorzmizerski4187 She doesn't really become a ghost, in the premise for that episode it's revealed the ghost realm is just an inbetween place for ghosts with unfinished buisness, since Patty died and had no unfinished buisness, she never goes to the ghost realm and Molly ends up never seeing her again

Well TGAMM not getting a 3rd season wasn't really due to staff or writing problems and was more a problem of the show not gaining a big enough audience to render a new season

This looks so good. The voices, visuals, and the writing are just like the show. I could see this happening in the actual show. It looks like it takes place after the episodes "A Period Piece" (Periods) and "The Grand Gesture" (Molly and Ollie officially dating).

Boy, both TOH and TG&MM are among the few shows who actually got romance right. The list of ship disasters and failed couples in animated show is LONG, even Gravity Falls and Avatar The Last Airbender, two of the very few shows that match TOH's quality failed on that regard...
I just don't understand Disney. They had two of the very few shows that handled romance well, with more than one good couple in both of them, and what they did with them? They cancelled/brutally shortened them. What a shame...

You definately should watch it, it's incredibly underrated and it deserves much more recognition, though the show DOES actually have an episode on periods, but instead of Molly getting it, was her friend Libby who did and the episode is in season 2
I like how these situations are being normalized and natural instead of something taboo that should never be spoken about. Cartoons in the past never addressed and wouldn’t dare touch issues such as these and I’m glad it’s becoming more socially accepting and takes away the awkwardness. It happens, it’s natural, and young girls and women shouldn’t feel embarrassed or ashamed.

As a person who watched around 13 episodes (probably less) of this cartoon, I am extremely confused at the same time as I think this is strangely wholesome.
If you haven't made it to season 2 yet, then it probably won't make sense til' you do watch it to get more context or until you decide to spoil yourself with clips on TH-cam

Is it just me or did Molly and Libby both start their periods unusually late? They’re both 13/14 when they start theirs (likely 14; I’m pretty sure each season is about a year) whereas my friend and I started ours at 11 and 12 respectively.
No, every girl gets their period at different ages, some don't get it until highschool, I personally started mine quite early but that's just how it is, it's unpredictable
The common age to get your period is 12-16 (and it is possible to get it even younger or older), so it's pretty normal that they got it at 14.
