Queen Amaya's Villain Song Dahlia's Villain Song Amaya has the most reasonable reason to become a villain, she sees the man she loves become corrupted by magic and straight up turns into a complete madman. Her Villain Origin can take place either after King Magnifico's descent into madness or at the end of the film since she'd have access to everything in his Dungeon. For Dahlia, I don't actually got or can think of a reason for her, I honestly just want to see an Villainess Version of Knowing What I Know Now be sang. I'm sure you can think of a reason.

At first, I was worried that Wendy's fairy might die because of this but then I remembered that Wendy didn't believe in fairies before she met Peter so her fairy would already be dead. I like to imagine that maybe one of Tink's dead friends was even Wendy's fairy just to add that extra layer of angst.
I find it morbidly amusing that while Tinker Bell was singing to Wendy at the end, all that Wendy could hear were bell noises... It reminds of that saying: "For whom the bell tolls, it tolls for you."

What’s crazy is that in the original book, tinker bell actually told the lost boys that she was a Wendy bird and to shoot her down. They succeeded, but she survived.
I was just about to say this because, at best , she just doesn't like Wendy and at worst, she is jealous of Wendy because she likes Peter, who is physically and mentally a child
It also makes sense why the sirens/mermaids decided to help, in the little attempt to drown wendy, if it was simply due to jealousy they would've told tink to get a reality check, no matter how big it is, if it was however a means for life or death that's how they'll understand, i never understand the original movie, Never liked it neither, but what i did understood is that, all that, was cuz in that little land, their all, in a sense, family.
Y'know, though... wouldn't the fact that the kids have physically interacted with fairies mean they have definitive knowledge that fairies exist, meaning they'll never stop believing in them even after growing up? This is actually very accurate to the fae. They would often steal babies from cribs and whisk them away to Fairyland. They're also extremely possessive, and, in folklore have been known to kill people for entering their territory
Can't say for sure, but I heard what it might be a English folklore idk. There are different types of fairies, who was stealing and eat toodles, who gust steal kids, or who stealing kids and replace them with Their kid's (they usually are really spoiled and unpleasant kid's)

At 0:35 did anyone else notice the fact Peter was (somewhat) blushing at Wendy? That could be referring directly to the image of Peter in a suit later on, showing that Wendy might have unknowingly convinced him that Faries don’t exist anymore and allowed him to be able to grow up since in most scenes of now, he looks in his early-mid teens but later on where he’s wearing a suit, he looks more like an adult. Tink could’ve been afraid of losing Peter’s and the lost boys’ beliefs in faries because Peter is the main reason why Tinker Bell and her friends have existence
Best thing about this is that the thing that keeps fairies alive is belief, not love. In the movie Tink almost dies bc Peter got upset at a small betrayal enough to stop believing in Tink's whole existence, which was easy as he planned to leave with Wemdy. And here he will be SO UPSET but, at the same time, how can you stop believing after this? Tink flipped the game by making Peter and the Lost Boys believe in her out of fear instead of the previous love
Oh man, doesn't that make everything even more wonderful? No matter how old you are, you will always believe that darkness is dangerous. Fear is the basic feeling of any developed living organism; it can even overcome the feeling of love. This also resonates with history, because people used to believe in fairies out of fear and well, faith out of fear works the same way as faith out of love.
How does that even work? That's like being upset that your dog got ran over so you stop believing in cars. Like, you have experience with cars, you know they exist. Outside of amnesia that knowledge isn't going anywhere.

What’s probably messing Tink even more up is the fact she has a twin sister. If she dies, so does Peri. Keeping Peter prisoner isn’t only keeping HER alive.
@Nyx_Chaotik I think that is what was implied in the video. I always had this head canon that the girl from Tinkerbell 3 was the baby who had given Tinkerbell life, but Peter Pan works in this scenario.

It connects well with the belief that fairies used to take babies and replace them with changelings as well, the whole concept of Neverland is rather scary when viewed from a non-fairytale perspective.
Something i realized In Jake and the neverland pirates, its explained that Hook was born in Neverland, but his mom sailed beyond neverland with him so that he would grow up, but as an adult hook returned to neverland, Hook has seen tinkerbell and her friends before, so he knows fairies exist, i like to believe Hook has believed in fairies his whole life, meaning HIS fairy is more than likely still alive!

Villian Tinkerbell wasn't in my 2024 bingo card but my god, I'm here for it. The concept of it is very interesting the more you think about it. Plus her having that smile is a nice touch🍿
This angle is pretty fascinating. You can imagine in ages past; people spent their entire lives believing in fairies. So, from the fairies' perspective, they had the same lifespan as humans. But, as humans delved more into science, fairies started to die more frequently and sooner. Then WW1 and WW2 hits and suddenly kids have to "grow up" a lot sooner. Tink gets desperate and starts kidnapping.
Actually when I was reading the description I had in mind the fact that Thinker Bell and her sister were born from Wendy laugh.. So I though in the song they would kill the ones that made them be born because you can't stop believing in something if you are dead
If we respect at least the timeline of the Peter Pan movies, Wendy is from before world war 2, at the very least, as I think Jane, her daughter is growing up during it (given the aerial raids on London and all)

Peter brings a new human to Neverland, one that Tink wasn’t aware of… She observes them, and sees how Peter looks at the girl. The love once meant for her now placed in this new girl. Now, don’t mistake this for jealousy; Tinkerbell couldn’t care less whether Peter played favorites. But she sees the way Wendy talks about her home, how she stares at the stars with longing. She will go home, and Peter will follow her. She can’t let that happen under any circumstances. Wendy doesn’t realize that what she’s doing will kill them all. The fairies that are born from a baby’s laughter then die from the child’s loss of belief. Kids lose belief so soon these days; even Wendy, only about 12 years old, doesn’t believe anymore. Who knows when she stopped believing and her fairy died? How long was that fairy allowed to enjoy life for? Wendy already stole one fairy’s life away; she won’t be allowed to steal anymore. These four boys are here in Neverland because here, their belief will stay strong. Tink doesn’t want to keep them here, but it’s the only way they can survive. The kids can be happy here. Without them, the fairies die. Peter would never trust Tink again if she did something herself… it would have to be an accident. The other boys are always making mistakes, and Peter never stays mad at them for long. She’ll just have to… guide their aim a bit. It’s nothing personal. It almost worked, but Peter saved her. He ruined it, and the boys ratted her out, and now he’s mad at her. And all the while, Wendy continues to spread stories of fathers and mothers and growing up to all the boys. Peter may be angry at Tink for telling the boys to shoot Wendy, but Tink’s angry too. And her rage is clear and rational. She knows what she’s doing. And she will do what she must to protect her home from threats, at any cost. The mermaids can take care of her… Neverland is a dangerous place for little birds, after all. Don’t worry, Wendy, it’s nothing personal. It almost works, but Peter saves her again. And Peter’s faith in Wendy only grows. Is it hopeless? Are they going to leave? Are they all going to die? Tink returns home, defeated and quickly losing hope. She remembers Fawn, and their research into keeping fairies alive despite humans quickly losing belief. Fawn was always so full of joy no matter what, but now she’s gone. Tink and what remained of her friends went to find their children, the ones who created them and could potentially be the ones to end them. That’s when she found Peter. They all found their kids, and they took them back to Neverland, so they could all stay alive. But nothing would ever bring Silvermist and Fawn back. Even Wendy already killed one of the fairies by losing belief… And then it clicked. Tink recognized the magical resemblance between Wendy and Fawn that only a fairy and their child would have. Wendy killed Fawn, and now she’s going to kill the rest of them, too. Tink may not have been able to save Fawn and Silvermist and every other fairy who died prematurely, but maybe she can still save the rest of them. Tink gathered Rosetta, Iridessa, and Vidia just in time. Wendy was already leaving with their boys. Nothing else worked, but this will. The fairies are the protectors of Neverland, and we control who can enter and leave this place. You take your pixie dust for granted, but what happens if we take it back? Don’t worry, we’ll catch you all! Each of us fairies will save our child. But, oh, I guess you don’t have one anymore, do you, Wendy Darling? I wonder whose fault is that? We’ll tell Peter I gave you pixie dust, but you lacked the faith you needed to fly. He’ll come to realize that you never believed, and that you don’t belong here. You didn’t need to die, Wendy Darling, we could have let you go home. But you killed Fawn. Now it’s personal.
I realized while reading this you implied that Fawn was Wendy's fairy and since Wendy stopped believing she killed Fawn but she's on Neverland which means wouldn't she saw the fairies and believe still another question I have is if Silvermist died who was Silvermists child? (I personally enjoyed reading all of this) and it filled me in on a few things I didn't get
Holy crap, after the 50th time watching this, I only just realised Tinkerbell swooped around Wendy making it look like she was using her pixie dust, so Peter would think that it was becase Wendy lacked one of the other three things she needed to fly rather than her death being deliberate sabotage. And what better way to make Peter fear death and to keep the rest of the Lost Boys in neverland, than the experience of the pain of loss.

That’s a really good observation, but from my perspective, Vidia had purposely blew dust off the ship and was holding Peter with a gust of wind right in his face. So I think he could easily tell that the strong wind was from this fairy, as well as she was not holding him “up” because he could still fly. So I think it would be hard to play off since she’s her friend that Tink had no involvement. She also had one attempt to kill Wendy that Peter knew about (getting shot at with rocks). So her trying to make it look like she was trying to “save Wendy” would be harder to believe.
@@morganworks9897 Considering that Tinkerbell saved each kid the exact same way and the fact that, in the end, Peter has the mind of a child, it wouldn't be that hard for him to believe.
Peter being Tink's child would also explain why he can understand her while the others only hear bells, I also think that the connection between children and fairies greatly influences the personalities of fairies, which is why Tink is such a strong and determined character, just like Peter, making them both leaders and two of the most dangerous beings in never land, you don't want to mess with peter pan but you also definitely don't want to mess with tinker bell

I like to think one of the biggest reasons why Tink wasn't going to allow Peter Pan to leave is that if he stopped believing it would also mean her sister (Periwinkle) would die, so she wasn't caring only about her friends but protecting her twin as well

I love how all the fairy's look super pissed when it comes to taking the ship out of the sky and wendy as well. But act kind to the lost boys, putting on a face.
Knowing that the tinkerbell movies are prequels to the peter pan movie, it would explain Tinkerbell's jealous and snarky behaviour compared to her spin-offs. Losing a lot of her friends and fairies took a toll on her mental health.
@@BoredandStrivingWendy was just a little kid then tho, I doubt Tink would remember her. Besides, Wendy had already stoped believing in fairies so her fairy would already be dead. It was only when she met Peter that she started believing again, so even if Tink did remember her I think she’d be quite resentful of her. My men have brought her body home so you can prepare her funeral. Just know that she died trying to return home. Then bowed low and walked to an anchor attached to a chain which pulled him into the sky as he flew away on a sailing ship that looks like it was from the 1700s.

Yes, this perfectly shows that Tink is not doing this all for nothing, that if she had the opportunity to let Peter and the Lost Boys go, she would do it. Unfortunately, this would mean death for her, her sister and friends, and therefore she cannot allow them to have the desire to leave the island.
The worst part is that the “harm” she’s referring is more then just the extinction of all fairies…. People forget how important the fairies are… literally they are the ones that maintain the seasons and their magic is vital for the Neverland to continuing to exist…. Without them the Neverland would cease killing everyone in it… and with the seasons gone Earth would fall right after…… yeah it’s safe to say that Thinkerbell was dealt a lose-lose situation: Either kill Wendy and be hated by the kids but ensure their existence or let them go and everything be gone… And before you say: couldn’t she talk to Wendy? 1) Humans (minus Peter) can understand Fairy language. 2) Wendy would use that as fuel to continue to being the kids home to their families Safe to say Thinkerbell was screwed from the beginning

Well this little fae sure proved she can be a better evil fae than the one in Sleeping Beauty (I know her name but I struggle with spelling so if I wrote it, it would probably bee wrong)
At the part where Peter jumps after Wendy into water, I love Tinkerbell's expression; she is afraid and helpless. She is trying to get rid of Wendy, and now, because of her, Peter is in danger. Right after that, when Peter gets out of the water with Wendy in arms, there is a relief mixed with despair. Next scene, you see her hugging herself as she has these flashbacks. Great portrail of emotions, and all I can say is good job.
Its crazy how much lore is in this one song. it's stated in the first Tinkerbell movie that fairies are born from a babies first laugh, and in Peter Pan 2 we see that fairies can be hurt from not being believed in. The description expands this in by saying that a fairy dies when the child whose laugh created them stops believing in fairies. As someone else commented, humans used to go their whole lives believing in fairies so a fairies lifespan would be similar to a humans originally. But in the modern era people stop believing in fairies at younger and younger ages so fairy death would feel like an epidemic in pixie hollow - image your entire race's life expectancy dropping from 70 years to 7 - leading Tinkerbell and friends to kidnap the children whose laugh created them to protect their own lives. The lost boys and Peter are the children whose laughs created Tinkerbell and her friends, and on Neverland these children would both never stop believing in fairies and also never grow up, making Tink and friends effectively immortal as long as the children stay there, so Wendy with her stories of mothers and home inspiring them to leave Neverland is a threat to Tink and her friends even though Wendy herself is totally innocent. Kidnapping is also very common in old fae lore as well as killing trespassers so this song really did its homework!

Fairies can come to harm by other means thenselves, like falling or hawks eating them! So there's still mortal risk of death for both fairy and lost boy. Which is why Hook (who surely believes in fairies) doesnt have a fairy companion of his own. Perhaps Tink should switch sides and the pirates are the ones who will continue to keep the fairy race alive? ☠️
@@TheDramacist trouble is if main post is correct and if peter is the one that gave life to tinkerbell its him no longer beliving would kill tinkerbell. Hook is connected to some other fairy if that fairy is still alive
I just noticed that when tink swooped around Wendy with her fairy dust, it was supposed to make her fairy dust look weak so it couldn’t carry Wendy, but when actually it could carry Wendy. She just decided not to so Wendy could die. And plus, it would make the others think that she was saving Wendy.
It could also have been to make it look to Peter that Tink was trying to save her. Just that Wendy didn't have faith or didn't trust Tink. After all, as the song states. You need three things to fly: faith, trust, and pixie dust.

I just realised. The Lost boys, who the fairies collected just after Fawn died, are dressed as animals, and when they fail to kill Wendy, Tinkerbell goes to the mermaids, who live in the water which is Silvermist talent. When that fails the remaining fairies has to step in.
Fawn’s death here is even more horrifying when you remember Legend of the Neverbeast has already happened, meaning that Fawn has already died once, and was only revived because of Gruff. Tinker Bell is desperate to save her when she collapses because she doesn’t want to lose her for good this time.
Oh GOD…I didn’t even think about that…I guess I never really thought Fawn was dead in that, I figured she’d come back because I didn’t think they’d actually kill her off, so I just assumed she was unconscious Edit: I just went back and checked…and I somehow COMPLETELY forgot that you could see the doctor CHECK FOR A PULSE in Legend of the Neverbeast…so yeah, in this AU this is technically Fawn’s second death

I've seen lots of people say that if Tink and Wendy communicated better she wouldn't have died, but that's the thing. Humans and fairies can't communicate, to humans fairies just sound like ringing bells. And I also like to believe that Wendy was tied to one of Tink's friends, since we saw Silvermist and Fawn died, it would definitely add to the angst.

Fawn dying was a flashback, a reminder of what could happen if Peter and the lost boys return to the human world with Wendy and stop believing in fairies. Wendy herself didn't do anything wrong, but by telling stories of her life and singing about her mother she inspires Peter and the lost boys to want to go home - and Tinkerbell can't have that
I would agree if that one movie where tink communicates to a human girl teaching her about the fairy world didn't exist. Communication with Humans is possible with patience but Tink and friends became so bitter and one minded in their sadness and/or hatred they just go for ending them. Tink is just straight up just wrong and vindictive in this AU. Justifying it as 'it needs to be done' and 'it's the only way' isn't true in the slightest. They just decided peace wasn't an option and murdered someone. Also for anyone who says Wendy won't understand the gravity of it, if this is based of the Disney movies she will absolutely 100% not look to screw tink like that. Most likely look for a compromise. The caring mother figure who looks out for everyone is her character and she isn't terribly naive either.
I love this, because it explains why we never see Tinks friends in Peter Pan beyond the real-world explanation of Tinkerbells movies being made later. Also the last scene where all the other children are being saved but Wendy is left to fall is just perfectly cruel, because she could have been saved and there was no real reason anymore to kill her, but Tink simply watched her die. Without Tinks help, they can't leave, so keeping them there is easy, and she could easily claim that her pixie dust just wasn't capable of lifting the whole ship for very long. At the end, killing Wendy was less about stopping her influence and more about punishing her for trying to interfere.
Actually I don’t think they need tinkerbell to get out of neverland Peter flys without pixie dust so all he would need to do is pick up the kids and fly off
It doesn't really explain why we never see Tink's friends like 3 of them are still alive? And the reason is still there it was because Wendy was making the kids and Peter wanting to back to London? It would continue no matter what and then they'd start wanting to go back and soon enough it would kill Tink. Since canonically you lose your memories of neverland once you grow up.
@Lina-iv8il Peter has two arms and there's at least three kids, the odds of him dropping one by accident are too high for Peter to risk it, especially since there are faries trying to keep them there who can definitely throw him around with the wind. As for why the other three don't show themselves, it's because they don't really need to, and nothing extra is gained from it. Tink primarily just provides pixie dust and ensures they're still content, safe, and willing to stay. Peter is more than capable of handling all the 'threats' they face, so the others have no reason to interfere. As for Wendy "forcing" them to leave, she wasn't. She just convinced them they should. At this point, they'll still want to leave even with her gone, ESPECIALLY because she was killed for trying to take them home. If they can convince the other kids to overlook Tink committing murder and choose to stay, then convincing Wendy to stay as well should have been simple. But in the end, Wendy's death changed nothing.

My sister told me that the lore of small fairies like in the original book was that fairies were so small they could only fit one emotion inside them at a time. So Tinkerbell was always an 11 on anything she felt.
Something in the book I always found interesting (and terrifying) is that it states that fairies in Peter Pan can only experience one emotion at a time, and that emotion gets ramped up exponentially. In the scene of her being jealous, it was literally the only thing on her mind. Tink is literally the definition of emotionally unstable. Imagine somebody who would act on any impulse or intrusive thought, no matter how heinous, just because they were in a bad mood. Edit: Do you guys seriously not know Peter Pan was a book first?

Couple things I noticed 1) When the first chorus comes on it's only Tinkerbell singing, but then you get to the second and there's extra voices repeating "why don't you fall" in a whisper and then the final chorus you have more voices singing with Tinkerbell I like to think this is about the other fairies slowly joining in as things grow more desperate, with the second chorus hinting at Tinkerbell not being alone in her actions before showing the three other fairies flying with her. When we get to the third chorus they join in with her 2) Also like how in the second chorus "why don't you fall" also starts to sound like a question, like Tinkerbell is asking herself why her actions aren't enough to get rid of Wendy 3) Tinkerbell first appearing to Peter in her original form is an interesting choice. It might be a way to make her more "innocent" looking but her new outfit doesn't exactly strike me as off putting by itself, so it makes me think she was hopeful about her plan and things returning to "normal" with the Lost Boys. So she appears in her original form. But then Wendy appears and she changes back into her new outfit, a visual distinction from the Tinkerbell we know Also her new outfit makes the black part reminds me of a shawl, and how people in mourning will wear black 4) Wendy never gets to meet Tinkerbell in this. She has no idea who Tinkerbell is aside from what Peter and the Lost Boys may tell her. The first time Wendy meets Tinkerbell it's seconds away from her death.
I think she came to believe in fairies in the end, but only because of the possibility of dying. It's like a last ditch effort to save yourself. (if I remember correctly, Wendy couldn't see fairies because she didn't believe in them)
I agree she never saw fairies before because she never believed. But when she did it was like her own swan song. I hope she writes a song where Peter gets his revenge on Tink or it's a continuation of where they leave off after Wendy dies.
I thought that when she appeared in her original form, it was because it was in the past. Like that was when she found him and brought them to neverland, because 1, she reacts the same way in the first movie when she's finding the owner of the music box and a similar way when she meets her sister. It's said that the fairies know how to find what they're looking for or something like that. 2, she waves towards the two evening stars like shes saying "come on! I'll take you somewhere fun." Idk that's just my take on it.
Killing Wendy herself would be too much. Peter might have left just BECAUSE Tinkerbell killed Wendy. So, she had to make it look like an accident until the last possible resort. Which is what we see her do, she asks everyone else to do it before asking her friends to kill her.
Man, this and Mirabel's villain song are my absolute favorites. This especially gives me chills. A fairy resorting to murder in desperation to prevent her kind from being wiped out is such a brilliant yet tragic motivation, especially when the victim is oblivious to the situation and there's no feasible means of communication between them.
Oh something else that i want to note is that the Fairies left are Vidia, Iridessa, and Rosetta. Silvermist and Fawn along with 'Dessa were the major heart of the group, being respectively the softest and most compassionate. Not to the say the other girls arent, but they're certainly a bit more likely to fight push comes to shove. Iridessa's talent is light, and its been used accidentally to blind others or start fires. Rosetta has prven to be very goal oriented and has a sassy side, plus if she lost her love (Sled? I think? The winter fairy boy) she strikes me as the sort to become desperate to have tried to save him. And Vidia has had a vicious streak since we met her. Plus, we dont see anything about Terrance or Periwinkle. And while Peri is probably fine as she and Tink were born from the same laugh, aka Peter's laugh, if Terrance is gone, i could see Tink being desperate enough to not just save herself, but her twin.
That's also what I was thinking why Terence wasn't there (aside from the fact that maybe he was just forgotten, tragically not being in the marketing most of the time after all). Terence was her BEST FRIEND and who knows if before all these deaths and his death that they already become a couple. That would definitely be a reason for Tink to reach this point of doing whatever it takes to keep the other remaining love of her life alive.
@@empressofcreativity but then again, if Terence was her fairy (whether Wendy still believes in them or not), he would have been there with Tink. In addition, Terence existed before Tink, but Pan was long going on adventures before Wendy was even born (it's implied in the 1953 film that he took Wendy's father on Neverland too). Although I wanted Terence to be Wendy's fairy for the delicious irony, and it'd be such a slap on Tink's face to have her best friend die because of her, it doesn't make sense since Terence wasn't there anymore to begin with.

I can't believe this took me so long to realise this. If all the movies are cannon in this universe that means Periwinkle also exists. This would mean that she is the only winter fairy left, if she didn't give up due to loneliness.

How fairies are so small they can only hold one emotion at a time. So in that moment, Tink really was evil, and this could have been the outcome if she held onto that emotion long enough.
What makes this AU even more messed up is that Fawn and Silvermist are seemingly dead. Out of all Tink's friends, Fawn had the highest empathy, and Silvermist was pure innocence (from the movies anyways). You literally killed the group's spirit. They would have been the only ones to talk Tink back from this path, but they're dead. Rosetta and Vidia would definitely push her to do what needs to be done and Iridessa would go along with the group for survival. This is by far my favourite of all your songs and the animatic is gorgeous!!
The fact that the last thing Wendy heard were Peter and the children’s screams(maybe) and LITTLE RINGING BELLS is like-imagine hearing bells before dying (OMG YALL THANK YOU FOR ALL THESE LIKES ITS THE MOST IVE EVER GOTTEN!!)

Okay, but imagine being Wendy in this situation. You are a normal girl and one night you get transported to some magical land by a boy who can fly. You just enjoy telling stories of the outside world to a bunch of kids who don't remember ever being outside of this magic world. For no discernable reason, this tiny fairy hates your guts and keeps making indirect attempts on your life. Then you go on a flying pirate ship that gets dropped from the sky and the last thing you'll ever see is this tiny, vindictive woman grinning at you. She never tells you what you did to make her hate you.
The scriptwriters missed out on so many opportunities, though: Peter: I’ve heard your mother call you. Your name’s Wendy, right? Wendy: Yes, that’s right, Wendy Darling. Peter: Erm, just call me Peter, thanks. Wendy: 😶 (LOL I’m using that in a fanfic rewrite of Peter Pan now)
In the Disney Fairies books, there are actually fairies that prevent the deaths of other fairies. One was the main character of "Queen Clarion's Secret." She could basically teleport to the Mainland for the express purpose of being spotted by children. If enough children see her and clap and laugh and jump for joy at the sight of her, it can save a fairy's life. The key word being "can." Edit: it's also risky bc she could get caught. We went thru that who thing in the great fairy rescue
I think the saddest thing is that, Wendy probably doesn’t even know what she’s doing. She’s just telling kids about her life not thinking it would cause any trouble. I feel like if Tinker Bell had communicated to Wendy about the problems with fairies, Wendy would probably stop telling kids about growing up.
Sadly, as much as it would be nice to talk it out, I don’t think Wendy would stop. Nothing malicious on her side but she loves her family, and written as a motherly figure. I think she would feel for any parent whose child/baby was kidnapped for Tinker and her friend’s survival. It’s a no win situation. Let the boys have a choice on what life they want / give them back to their family. Or Take away that choice to save a life of creatures that depend on it. Tinker did it for very good reasons to protect those she loved but she still kidnapped and took these children from a life with their families. Of course some kids could have horrible families but I doubt every single kid they took would have a bad family. Wendy would sympathize but I think she’d imagine what a life like that would be for her two brothers. And unless they say they want that life, she would be angry if they don’t even get to choose. Tragic story for a tragic song. I really like the villain take overall, again because of the no win situation. Really sad but that’s what makes it a good tragedy. Now I’m gonna go watch something happy 😅

That's the point. If they couldn't ensure his belief with love, then heartbreak due to trauma would certainly do the trick. Tink's no fool, she completely flipped the script on them.
I just realized that if prillia from the book series came in prilla would be the hero to this evil tink...just imagining prillas group maybe going in for the save while tink is doing sabotage would be fascinating...but gets even more interesting when involving vidia and how both version use her as a character.
Tbh the part where she sings "babe you won't feel a thing" makes me think that she chose to try and kill her through falling eacause it was the most painless way to kill a person at the time. Also this song makes me more sympathetic to tinkerbell so theres that
Considering Tink’s various knowledges… yeah, she could have poisoned her, built a painful trap, cut her 10,000 times, placed her somewhere nobody would find her and just left… honestly, she was probably actually giving her one of the best ways out she could ask for from Tink… as well as one of the few that would not 100% be obvious to outsiders what was goin on

In this continuity bell does not like Peter he just wants to stay with the children lost for their group and his sister Twin besides either perish let her and their group because the rest of the group explained the consequences quote in my first comment or she is against and the fairies are busy enough to help him stop them elsewhere in the film the fairies surely do not come out of the fairies if most and weak it is necessary to remain without occupy like in the valley gone snowy or otherwise perished is just not in the current since She is busy helped the others the death of Wendy made die a fairy but it would prevent the others to want to leave because her death will torment them especially Peter and know that in the fim he said to start the must stolen necessarily is wrong because captain hook and his pirates arrived by boat so it was for all these reasons that Wendy’s death was necessary the group of 4 are surely the only ones still beating even peri is killed by the situation
I loved watching the pixie hollow movies when they were on Netflix and seeing Silvermist, Rosetta, Iridessa, Fawn, Terence and Vidia and her twin sister Periwinkle, referenced in your song made me get emotional because fawn was my favorite one and her dying omg it made me cry... Your voice is awesome and the illustrations are perfect
I love that this is her “villain” song, as if Tink wasn’t ALREADY a villain. I’m convinced that she, in canon, was only keeping Peter and his friends alive for their belief, think how she acted in the movie, playing “little (lethal) pranks” on Wendy. That fits with how fey act in the original mythology as well, destroying families, towns and lives because to them it’s fun, Tink kidnapped these children, probably leaving a changeling in their place to die a few weeks later so no one came looking for them, the fae aren’t good, and the one who act like they are, are the most dangerous

Note that not all of the Lost Boys from the movie are here. Aside from Peter, there are only three here instead of six. While it's possible that it's only reduced to make it easier to get the animatic out in a timely fashion and the implication seems to be that Tink already lost some friends before she realized they needed the children and was only able to save three because that's who all they were able to find, imagine if they had found the six plus Peter and thought that they were all safe (all of the other main fairy girls + Terrence [or whichever other friend from the Disney Fairies series you prefer])...only for some of the boys to die, to either the pirates or other less friendly inhabitants. Sure, they'll never die of old age since they cannot grow up and they will never lose their belief in magic because they can see proof of it everyday, but now they are exposed to dangers they were unlikely to go up against on the mainland and even if they become wise to the dangers and learn how to defend themselves, their deaths are still inevitable because all it takes is one unlucky day against an opponent who doesn't play fair.
Maybe Tinkerbell isn't the first one to do this? There are more humans in Neverland than just Peter and the Lost boys. The fairy queen is connected to Tigerlilly, Keeper Dewey is connected to the First Mate Smee? That would also explain why humans have stories of fairies kidnapping people.

Seeing this from Tink’s perspective actually gives you a wave of satisfaction when she finally gets what she wants, her revenge. Heros and villians could easily swap based on whose perspective it is.
I love the fact by the end it highlights the strength of the fairies, honestly if they were desperate by the beginning Wendy would've been tossed around like a ragdoll. The fairies have amazing supernatural strength, it highlights in tinkerbells movies with how easy they can push vessels like boats like it's nothing - Vidia going in with the wind though- peak
I find it interesting how real Tinkerbell's motivation is in this. She genuinely sees what she's doing as a good thing for those she cares about rather than doing it out of pure malice. In her mind Wendy is always depicted as evil with just a twisted smile but when we see Wendy about to be harassed due to Tink's plans we see her real face to remind us that Wendy isn't trying to cause trouble. She's actually just a pure and innocent girl who is enjoying the world and people she's getting to experience. Tink just sees it as evil because she's afraid of the consequences it may lead to.
The implication that the lost boys are her friends children makes this SO MYCH BETTER! Like, I love the fact she’s acting out of fierce protective instinct instead of jealousy.
“Or did it slip your mind? You need three things to fly. Let’s see you try when I remove mine” I kept replaying this part because I couldn’t figure out what those three things were. Then it hit me. Faith Trust and Pixie dust. You can always have faith and trust but you need fairies for the pixie dust. You can’t fly without it
Oooh I personally thought it was Wings (like how in the 3rd movie Tink’s wings were torn off), Pixie dust and Faith. They have two of them and lacking the last one

And the pixie dust does require happy thoughts in some iterations. With that ending, Pan may no longer able to fly even if he gets a newborn fairies pixie dust.
I've watched this twice now and am slowly losing my mind over it. This is so insanely dark, and I love how Tink's attempts get more and more personal, starting with "frame it as an accident," followed by "oh dear I guess Neverland is just so dangerous" and finally ending with "if I have to drag you down myself, I will." I love how the other fairies are animated, utterly worn down and grief-stricken, bags under their eyes and totally disheveled, and how Tinkerbell starts out as clean-cut and calculated, clearly distancing herself, only to get increasingly desperate and emotional and deranged. The voice acting is also so freaking good, starting out cold and slightly guilty then slowly, slowly showing that infamous Tinkerbell rage and her increasing loathing for this naive girl dooming them all. So. Freaking. *Good*.
The cool thing is. In the original book, Tinker Bell almost succeeded in tricking the lost boys to shoot down the “Wendy Bird.” It was only because of Peters thimble kiss she survived.
The worst thing is they'll forget this even happened. Neverland makes you forget stuff, even people, if they're not around anymore you'll gradually lose all memories related to them. So all Tink as to do is stay away from them for a couple weeks and the come back and Peter and the gang, with no memories of her deeds, will Just wonder where the little Fairy went....
I truly adore this being a matter of survival. The less kids believe,the quicker a fairy fades out. And to know Tink already lost two of her dearest friends,of course she's desperate to keep what little she got around Besides,in many folklores fairies do essentially kidnap children,and if makes sense they'd want the kids they come from,those kids who had their very first laugh and created them,that ensures they live,children forever,believers forever Hell,Tinker Bell has a twin sister named Periwinkle,keeping Peter around isn't even for her own survival but her sister's too
The fact that peter even seems horrified of wendy dying when in the orginal book Peter seems to barely grasp the concept of death. He himself is implied to kill any lost boys that get to old and looking forward to dying " its an adventure to look forward to" . I think the only time Peter seems shocked is than tinkerbell is almost dying. I like to think maybe the reason this version of Peter in the video is actually horrified is not just because its Wendy thats about to die but that its tinkerbell thats causing it and while Wendy is still young and could have been convinced to stay like the others
Book Peter doesn't grasp death because his memories are fucked so badly that everything becomes a first experience for him over and over again, including death. Disney's Peter doesn't seem to have that same memory issue OG Peter has. Which would allow him a wider range of emotion and understanding, and leave room for character development because he will remember events in his life, unlike his original version. So likely, Disney's Peter would understand the gravity of death
Actually the other theory is that once they get to old he drops them off back in the “real” world. That’s much more whimsical and in character and all the better jest.

That's an interesting take. If the kid who laugher they are born from die, then the fairy dies. I also love how the fairies all help her instead of condemn her for trying to kill Wendy. After all, they are all on the same page. Save what's left of their people and friends no matter what

This was glorious...a horrible dark thought entered my head after watching a few times (and thinking about Jane in Return to Neverland). What if after Wendy died, Tinkerbell suddenly started to weaken. The other fairies surround her, but nothing they do helps, and then, they also collapse. It doesnt make sense, the Lost Boys and Peter are right there...until they see the tears in his eyes, and Tinkerbell dies acknowledging an ironic truth. She killed Wendy to keep Peter and the Lost Boys in Neverland, but in doing so, she broke their faith and trust. Peter might be forever a child. But he doesnt believe in fairies anymore.
3:26 “You need three things to fly”…”Let’s see you try when I remove mine” I love that line because in the Peter Pan movie he says “all it takes is *faith* and *trust* , (ect. ect.) and *pixie dust* ” but not just that you also need happy thoughts and I can imagine that’s hard to do when you’re falling hundreds of feet down to the earth.

A particularly heartbreaking thing to think about in this turn of events is what becomes of Wendy's family. Since they were spared, it means that, not only did John and Michael have to watch their older sister die a horrific death, but they're also now trapped in Neverland. On top of that, with Wendy dead and John and Michael stuck, their parents would never know what happened to them.
Unless Hook finds about it. Since the original story implies he used to be a lost boy until he found out the truth of what was happening, like another person said. I could totally see Hook bringing a letter back to England

Friend,I don’t know if you noticed but in this AU,Michael and John don’t go to Neverland,only Wendy is taken there and without them realizing it and possibly all of that happened to their sister while they are asleep at home😶,Peter basically kidnapping her in his own way like in the movie and the brothers they will never know what happened to her in that night 💀,much less that Wendy died at the hands of the fairies especially TinkerBell and it’s all Peter’s fault for basically leading Wendy to her doom and his death 💔☠️
Either you die a hero, or live long enough to become a Villain. In this case, Tink is doing both, saving a species at the cost of a few children... Dark as Hell but a very Grey form of Chaotic Evil, doing whatever is necessary to keep her people and family alive.

That ending shot gives me chills- it came to my attention that Tink pushing her like that makes the death painless but like that’s probably traumatic for the lost boys and Peter to go through

This is actually very accurate to the fae. They would often steal babies from cribs and whisk them away to Fairyland. They're also extremely possessive, and, in folklore have been known to kill people for entering their territory

Can't say for sure, but I heard what it might be a English folklore idk. There are different types of fairies, who was stealing and eat toodles, who gust steal kids, or who stealing kids and replace them with Their kid's (they usually are really spoiled and unpleasant kid's)

At 0:35 did anyone else notice the fact Peter was (somewhat) blushing at Wendy? That could be referring directly to the image of Peter in a suit later on, showing that Wendy might have unknowingly convinced him that Faries don’t exist anymore and allowed him to be able to grow up since in most scenes of now, he looks in his early-mid teens but later on where he’s wearing a suit, he looks more like an adult. Tink could’ve been afraid of losing Peter’s and the lost boys’ beliefs in faries because Peter is the main reason why Tinker Bell and her friends have existence

Best thing about this is that the thing that keeps fairies alive is belief, not love. In the movie Tink almost dies bc Peter got upset at a small betrayal enough to stop believing in Tink's whole existence, which was easy as he planned to leave with Wemdy. And here he will be SO UPSET but, at the same time, how can you stop believing after this? Tink flipped the game by making Peter and the Lost Boys believe in her out of fear instead of the previous love
Oh man, doesn't that make everything even more wonderful? No matter how old you are, you will always believe that darkness is dangerous. Fear is the basic feeling of any developed living organism; it can even overcome the feeling of love. This also resonates with history, because people used to believe in fairies out of fear and well, faith out of fear works the same way as faith out of love.
How does that even work? That's like being upset that your dog got ran over so you stop believing in cars. Like, you have experience with cars, you know they exist. Outside of amnesia that knowledge isn't going anywhere.

The Lost Boys being connection to Tink’s friends makes their presence in Neverland rather chilling. They became lost boys because they were taken.
It connects well with the belief that fairies used to take babies and replace them with changelings as well, the whole concept of Neverland is rather scary when viewed from a non-fairytale perspective.

In Jake and the neverland pirates, its explained that Hook was born in Neverland, but his mom sailed beyond neverland with him so that he would grow up, but as an adult hook returned to neverland, Hook has seen tinkerbell and her friends before, so he knows fairies exist, i like to believe Hook has believed in fairies his whole life, meaning HIS fairy is more than likely still alive!

This angle is pretty fascinating. You can imagine in ages past; people spent their entire lives believing in fairies. So, from the fairies' perspective, they had the same lifespan as humans. But, as humans delved more into science, fairies started to die more frequently and sooner. Then WW1 and WW2 hits and suddenly kids have to "grow up" a lot sooner. Tink gets desperate and starts kidnapping.
Actually when I was reading the description I had in mind the fact that Thinker Bell and her sister were born from Wendy laugh.. So I though in the song they would kill the ones that made them be born because you can't stop believing in something if you are dead
If we respect at least the timeline of the Peter Pan movies, Wendy is from before world war 2, at the very least, as I think Jane, her daughter is growing up during it (given the aerial raids on London and all)

Peter brings a new human to Neverland, one that Tink wasn’t aware of… She observes them, and sees how Peter looks at the girl. The love once meant for her now placed in this new girl. Now, don’t mistake this for jealousy; Tinkerbell couldn’t care less whether Peter played favorites. But she sees the way Wendy talks about her home, how she stares at the stars with longing. She will go home, and Peter will follow her. She can’t let that happen under any circumstances.
Wendy doesn’t realize that what she’s doing will kill them all. The fairies that are born from a baby’s laughter then die from the child’s loss of belief. Kids lose belief so soon these days; even Wendy, only about 12 years old, doesn’t believe anymore. Who knows when she stopped believing and her fairy died? How long was that fairy allowed to enjoy life for? Wendy already stole one fairy’s life away; she won’t be allowed to steal anymore.
These four boys are here in Neverland because here, their belief will stay strong. Tink doesn’t want to keep them here, but it’s the only way they can survive. The kids can be happy here. Without them, the fairies die.
Peter would never trust Tink again if she did something herself… it would have to be an accident. The other boys are always making mistakes, and Peter never stays mad at them for long. She’ll just have to… guide their aim a bit. It’s nothing personal.
It almost worked, but Peter saved her. He ruined it, and the boys ratted her out, and now he’s mad at her. And all the while, Wendy continues to spread stories of fathers and mothers and growing up to all the boys. Peter may be angry at Tink for telling the boys to shoot Wendy, but Tink’s angry too. And her rage is clear and rational. She knows what she’s doing. And she will do what she must to protect her home from threats, at any cost.
The mermaids can take care of her… Neverland is a dangerous place for little birds, after all. Don’t worry, Wendy, it’s nothing personal.
It almost works, but Peter saves her again. And Peter’s faith in Wendy only grows. Is it hopeless? Are they going to leave? Are they all going to die?
Tink returns home, defeated and quickly losing hope. She remembers Fawn, and their research into keeping fairies alive despite humans quickly losing belief. Fawn was always so full of joy no matter what, but now she’s gone. Tink and what remained of her friends went to find their children, the ones who created them and could potentially be the ones to end them. That’s when she found Peter. They all found their kids, and they took them back to Neverland, so they could all stay alive. But nothing would ever bring Silvermist and Fawn back. Even Wendy already killed one of the fairies by losing belief… And then it clicked. Tink recognized the magical resemblance between Wendy and Fawn that only a fairy and their child would have. Wendy killed Fawn, and now she’s going to kill the rest of them, too. Tink may not have been able to save Fawn and Silvermist and every other fairy who died prematurely, but maybe she can still save the rest of them.
Tink gathered Rosetta, Iridessa, and Vidia just in time. Wendy was already leaving with their boys. Nothing else worked, but this will. The fairies are the protectors of Neverland, and we control who can enter and leave this place. You take your pixie dust for granted, but what happens if we take it back? Don’t worry, we’ll catch you all! Each of us fairies will save our child. But, oh, I guess you don’t have one anymore, do you, Wendy Darling? I wonder whose fault is that? We’ll tell Peter I gave you pixie dust, but you lacked the faith you needed to fly. He’ll come to realize that you never believed, and that you don’t belong here. You didn’t need to die, Wendy Darling, we could have let you go home. But you killed Fawn. Now it’s personal.

I realized while reading this you implied that Fawn was Wendy's fairy and since Wendy stopped believing she killed Fawn but she's on Neverland which means wouldn't she saw the fairies and believe still another question I have is if Silvermist died who was Silvermists child? (I personally enjoyed reading all of this) and it filled me in on a few things I didn't get
Holy crap, after the 50th time watching this, I only just realised Tinkerbell swooped around Wendy making it look like she was using her pixie dust, so Peter would think that it was becase Wendy lacked one of the other three things she needed to fly rather than her death being deliberate sabotage. And what better way to make Peter fear death and to keep the rest of the Lost Boys in neverland, than the experience of the pain of loss.

That’s a really good observation, but from my perspective, Vidia had purposely blew dust off the ship and was holding Peter with a gust of wind right in his face. So I think he could easily tell that the strong wind was from this fairy, as well as she was not holding him “up” because he could still fly. So I think it would be hard to play off since she’s her friend that Tink had no involvement. She also had one attempt to kill Wendy that Peter knew about (getting shot at with rocks). So her trying to make it look like she was trying to “save Wendy” would be harder to believe.

@@morganworks9897 Considering that Tinkerbell saved each kid the exact same way and the fact that, in the end, Peter has the mind of a child, it wouldn't be that hard for him to believe.
Peter being Tink's child would also explain why he can understand her while the others only hear bells, I also think that the connection between children and fairies greatly influences the personalities of fairies, which is why Tink is such a strong and determined character, just like Peter, making them both leaders and two of the most dangerous beings in never land, you don't want to mess with peter pan but you also definitely don't want to mess with tinker bell

I love how all the fairy's look super pissed when it comes to taking the ship out of the sky and wendy as well. But act kind to the lost boys, putting on a face.
Knowing that the tinkerbell movies are prequels to the peter pan movie, it would explain Tinkerbell's jealous and snarky behaviour compared to her spin-offs. Losing a lot of her friends and fairies took a toll on her mental health.

Yes, this perfectly shows that Tink is not doing this all for nothing, that if she had the opportunity to let Peter and the Lost Boys go, she would do it. Unfortunately, this would mean death for her, her sister and friends, and therefore she cannot allow them to have the desire to leave the island.

The worst part is that the “harm” she’s referring is more then just the extinction of all fairies…. People forget how important the fairies are… literally they are the ones that maintain the seasons and their magic is vital for the Neverland to continuing to exist…. Without them the Neverland would cease killing everyone in it… and with the seasons gone Earth would fall right after…… yeah it’s safe to say that Thinkerbell was dealt a lose-lose situation:

At the part where Peter jumps after Wendy into water, I love Tinkerbell's expression; she is afraid and helpless. She is trying to get rid of Wendy, and now, because of her, Peter is in danger. Right after that, when Peter gets out of the water with Wendy in arms, there is a relief mixed with despair. Next scene, you see her hugging herself as she has these flashbacks. Great portrail of emotions, and all I can say is good job.
Its crazy how much lore is in this one song. it's stated in the first Tinkerbell movie that fairies are born from a babies first laugh, and in Peter Pan 2 we see that fairies can be hurt from not being believed in. The description expands this in by saying that a fairy dies when the child whose laugh created them stops believing in fairies. As someone else commented, humans used to go their whole lives believing in fairies so a fairies lifespan would be similar to a humans originally. The lost boys and Peter are the children whose laughs created Tinkerbell and her friends, and on Neverland these children would both never stop believing in fairies and also never grow up, making Tink and friends effectively immortal as long as the children stay there, so Wendy with her stories of mothers and home inspiring them to leave Neverland is a threat to Tink and her friends even though Wendy herself is totally innocent. Kidnapping is also very common in old fae lore as well as killing trespassers so this song really did its homework!

I just noticed that when tink swooped around Wendy with her fairy dust, it was supposed to make her fairy dust look weak so it couldn’t carry Wendy, but when actually it could carry Wendy. She just decided not to so Wendy could die. And plus, it would make the others think that she was saving Wendy.
It could also have been to make it look to Peter that Tink was trying to save her. Just that Wendy didn't have faith or didn't trust Tink.
After all, as the song states. You need three things to fly: faith, trust, and pixie dust.

I just realised. The Lost boys, who the fairies collected just after Fawn died, are dressed as animals, and when they fail to kill Wendy, Tinkerbell goes to the mermaids, who live in the water which is Silvermist talent. When that fails the remaining fairies has to step in.

Fawn’s death here is even more horrifying when you remember Legend of the Neverbeast has already happened, meaning that Fawn has already died once, and was only revived because of Gruff. Tinker Bell is desperate to save her when she collapses because she doesn’t want to lose her for good this time.

I've seen lots of people say that if Tink and Wendy communicated better she wouldn't have died, but that's the thing. Humans and fairies can't communicate, to humans fairies just sound like ringing bells.
And I also like to believe that Wendy was tied to one of Tink's friends, since we saw Silvermist and Fawn died, it would definitely add to the angst.
They died because Wendy was somehow making the lost kids not believe in fairies anymore. So yea, Wendy's fault.

Fawn dying was a flashback, a reminder of what could happen if Peter and the lost boys return to the human world with Wendy and stop believing in fairies. Wendy herself didn't do anything wrong, but by telling stories of her life and singing about her mother she inspires Peter and the lost boys to want to go home - and Tinkerbell can't have that
I like to think that Wendy was Fawn's kid so when she stopped believing, Fawn died. Adds a bit of drama to the lore.
I would agree if that one movie where tink communicates to a human girl teaching her about the fairy world didn't exist. Communication with Humans is possible with patience but Tink and friends became so bitter and one minded in their sadness and/or hatred they just go for ending them. Tink is just straight up just wrong and vindictive in this AU. Justifying it as 'it needs to be done' and 'it's the only way' isn't true in the slightest. They just decided peace wasn't an option and murdered someone.
Also for anyone who says Wendy won't understand the gravity of it, if this is based of the Disney movies she will absolutely 100% not look to screw tink like that. Most likely look for a compromise. The caring mother figure who looks out for everyone is her character and she isn't terribly naive either.

I love this, because it explains why we never see Tinks friends in Peter Pan beyond the real-world explanation of Tinkerbells movies being made later. Also the last scene where all the other children are being saved but Wendy is left to fall is just perfectly cruel, because she could have been saved and there was no real reason anymore to kill her, but Tink simply watched her die. Without Tinks help, they can't leave, so keeping them there is easy, and she could easily claim that her pixie dust just wasn't capable of lifting the whole ship for very long. At the end, killing Wendy was less about stopping her influence and more about punishing her for trying to interfere.
Actually I don’t think they need tinkerbell to get out of neverland Peter flys without pixie dust so all he would need to do is pick up the kids and fly off
It doesn't really explain why we never see Tink's friends like 3 of them are still alive? And the reason is still there it was because Wendy was making the kids and Peter wanting to back to London? It would continue no matter what and then they'd start wanting to go back and soon enough it would kill Tink. Since canonically you lose your memories of neverland once you grow up.
@Lina-iv8il Peter has two arms and there's at least three kids, the odds of him dropping one by accident are too high for Peter to risk it, especially since there are faries trying to keep them there who can definitely throw him around with the wind. As for why the other three don't show themselves, it's because they don't really need to, and nothing extra is gained from it. Tink primarily just provides pixie dust and ensures they're still content, safe, and willing to stay. Peter is more than capable of handling all the 'threats' they face, so the others have no reason to interfere. As for Wendy "forcing" them to leave, she wasn't. She just convinced them they should. At this point, they'll still want to leave even with her gone, ESPECIALLY because she was killed for trying to take them home. If they can convince the other kids to overlook Tink committing murder and choose to stay, then convincing Wendy to stay as well should have been simple. But in the end, Wendy's death changed nothing.

Peter couldn't have saved them though, because if you noticed one of the faries trapped him in water or something, so it was just tinkerbell.
My sister told me that the lore of small fairies like in the original book was that fairies were so small they could only fit one emotion inside them at a time. So Tinkerbell was always an 11 on anything she felt.
Something in the book I always found interesting (and terrifying) is that it states that fairies in Peter Pan can only experience one emotion at a time, and that emotion gets ramped up exponentially. In the scene of her being jealous, it was literally the only thing on her mind. Tink is literally the definition of emotionally unstable. Imagine somebody who would act on any impulse or intrusive thought, no matter how heinous, just because they were in a bad mood.

Couple things I noticed
1) When the first chorus comes on it's only Tinkerbell singing, but then you get to the second and there's extra voices repeating "why don't you fall" in a whisper and then the final chorus you have more voices singing with Tinkerbell
I like to think this is about the other fairies slowly joining in as things grow more desperate, with the second chorus hinting at Tinkerbell not being alone in her actions before showing the three other fairies flying with her. When we get to the third chorus they join in with her
2) Also like how in the second chorus "why don't you fall" also starts to sound like a question, like Tinkerbell is asking herself why her actions aren't enough to get rid of Wendy
3) Tinkerbell first appearing to Peter in her original form is an interesting choice. It might be a way to make her more "innocent" looking but her new outfit doesn't exactly strike me as off putting by itself, so it makes me think she was hopeful about her plan and things returning to "normal" with the Lost Boys. So she appears in her original form. But then Wendy appears and she changes back into her new outfit, a visual distinction from the Tinkerbell we know
Also her new outfit makes the black part reminds me of a shawl, and how people in mourning will wear black
4) Wendy never gets to meet Tinkerbell in this. She has no idea who Tinkerbell is aside from what Peter and the Lost Boys may tell her. The first time Wendy meets Tinkerbell it's seconds away from her death.
I think she came to believe in fairies in the end, but only because of the possibility of dying. It's like a last ditch effort to save yourself. (if I remember correctly, Wendy couldn't see fairies because she didn't believe in them)
I agree she never saw fairies before because she never believed. But when she did it was like her own swan song. I hope she writes a song where Peter gets his revenge on Tink or it's a continuation of where they leave off after Wendy dies.
I thought that when she appeared in her original form, it was because it was in the past. Like that was when she found him and brought them to neverland, because 1, she reacts the same way in the first movie when she's finding the owner of the music box and a similar way when she meets her sister. It's said that the fairies know how to find what they're looking for or something like that. 2, she waves towards the two evening stars like shes saying "come on! I'll take you somewhere fun." Idk that's just my take on it.

Man, this and Mirabel's villain song are my absolute favorites. This especially gives me chills. A fairy resorting to murder in desperation to prevent her kind from being wiped out is such a brilliant yet tragic motivation, especially when the victim is oblivious to the situation and there's no feasible means of communication between them.
Oh something else that i want to note is that the Fairies left are Vidia, Iridessa, and Rosetta. Silvermist and Fawn along with 'Dessa were the major heart of the group, being respectively the softest and most compassionate. Not to the say the other girls arent, but they're certainly a bit more likely to fight push comes to shove. Iridessa's talent is light, and its been used accidentally to blind others or start fires. Rosetta has prven to be very goal oriented and has a sassy side, plus if she lost her love (Sled? I think? The winter fairy boy) she strikes me as the sort to become desperate to have tried to save him. And Vidia has had a vicious streak since we met her. Plus, we dont see anything about Terrance or Periwinkle. And while Peri is probably fine as she and Tink were born from the same laugh, aka Peter's laugh, if Terrance is gone, i could see Tink being desperate enough to not just save herself, but her twin.
That's also what I was thinking why Terence wasn't there (aside from the fact that maybe he was just forgotten, tragically not being in the marketing most of the time after all). Terence was her BEST FRIEND and who knows if before all these deaths and his death that they already become a couple. That would definitely be a reason for Tink to reach this point of doing whatever it takes to keep the other remaining love of her life alive.
I saw someone had a theory that Terrance was Wendy’s fairy and Tink killing Wendy could’ve accidentally killed Terrance
@@empressofcreativity but then again, if Terence was her fairy (whether Wendy still believes in them or not), he would have been there with Tink. In addition, Terence existed before Tink, but Pan was long going on adventures before Wendy was even born (it's implied in the 1953 film that he took Wendy's father on Neverland too). Although I wanted Terence to be Wendy's fairy for the delicious irony, and it'd be such a slap on Tink's face to have her best friend die because of her, it doesn't make sense since Terence wasn't there anymore to begin with.
I imagine that Piri gave up her wings so Peter can fly but she stays nearby with Peter so he had a stronger relationship with Peri

This video is so good not only because the music is epic, but it shows what this quote is talking about. How fairies are so small they can only hold one emotion at a time. So in that moment, Tink really was evil, and this could have been the outcome if she held onto that emotion long enough.

What makes this AU even more messed up is that Fawn and Silvermist are seemingly dead. Out of all Tink's friends, Fawn had the highest empathy, and Silvermist was pure innocence (from the movies anyways).
You literally killed the group's spirit. They would have been the only ones to talk Tink back from this path, but they're dead. Rosetta and Vidia would definitely push her to do what needs to be done and Iridessa would go along with the group for survival.

Then you go on a flying pirate ship that gets dropped from the sky and the last thing you'll ever see is this tiny, vindictive woman grinning at you. She never tells you what you did to make her hate you.

In the Disney Fairies books, there are actually fairies that prevent the deaths of other fairies. One was the main character of "Queen Clarion's Secret." She could basically teleport to the Mainland for the express purpose of being spotted by children. If enough children see her and clap and laugh and jump for joy at the sight of her, it can save a fairy's life. The key word being "can."

I think the saddest thing is that, Wendy probably doesn’t even know what she’s doing. She’s just telling kids about her life not thinking it would cause any trouble. I feel like if Tinker Bell had communicated to Wendy about the problems with fairies, Wendy would probably stop telling kids about growing up.
Sadly, as much as it would be nice to talk it out, I don’t think Wendy would stop. Nothing malicious on her side but she loves her family, and written as a motherly figure. I think she would feel for any parent whose child/baby was kidnapped for Tinker and her friend’s survival. It’s a no win situation.
Let the boys have a choice on what life they want / give them back to their family.

Take away that choice to save a life of creatures that depend on it.
Tinker did it for very good reasons to protect those she loved but she still kidnapped and took these children from a life with their families. Of course some kids could have horrible families but I doubt every single kid they took would have a bad family.
Wendy would sympathize but I think she’d imagine what a life like that would be for her two brothers. And unless they say they want that life, she would be angry if they don’t even get to choose.
Tragic story for a tragic song. I really like the villain take overall, again because of the no win situation. Really sad but that’s what makes it a good tragedy. Now I’m gonna go watch something happy 😅

I love that this is her “villain” song, as if Tink wasn’t ALREADY a villain. I’m convinced that she, in canon, was only keeping Peter and his friends alive for their belief, think how she acted in the movie, playing “little (lethal) pranks” on Wendy. That fits with how fey act in the original mythology as well, destroying families, towns and lives because to them it’s fun, Tink kidnapped these children, probably leaving a changeling in their place to die a few weeks later so no one came looking for them, the fae aren’t good, and the one who act like they are, are the most dangerous

The first time I saw her, I didn't like Vidia very much. After watching some movies, I started to appreciate her more as Tinkerbell's friend.

Note that not all of the Lost Boys from the movie are here. Aside from Peter, there are only three here instead of six. While it's possible that it's only reduced to make it easier to get the animatic out in a timely fashion and the implication seems to be that Tink already lost some friends before she realized they needed the children and was only able to save three because that's who all they were able to find, imagine if they had found the six plus Peter and thought that they were all safe (all of the other main fairy girls + Terrence [or whichever other friend from the Disney Fairies series you prefer])...only for some of the boys to die, to either the pirates or other less friendly inhabitants. Sure, they'll never die of old age since they cannot grow up and they will never lose their belief in magic because they can see proof of it everyday, but now they are exposed to dangers they were unlikely to go up against on the mainland and even if they become wise to the dangers and learn how to defend themselves, their deaths are still inevitable because all it takes is one unlucky day against an opponent who doesn't play fair.
Maybe Tinkerbell isn't the first one to do this? There are more humans in Neverland than just Peter and the Lost boys. The fairy queen is connected to Tigerlilly, Keeper Dewey is connected to the First Mate Smee? That would also explain why humans have stories of fairies kidnapping people.
When wendy realized that Tinkerbell wasn't going to help her, she just accepts her fate with dignity, it heartbreaking😢.

So YT Music randomly gave me this song a few weeks ago and I have been listening to it nonstop, love the sound of it and the overall story being told.
Seeing this from Tink’s perspective actually gives you a wave of satisfaction when she finally gets what she wants, her revenge. Heros and villians could easily swap based on whose perspective it is.
I love the fact by the end it highlights the strength of the fairies, honestly if they were desperate by the beginning Wendy would've been tossed around like a ragdoll. The fairies have amazing supernatural strength, it highlights in tinkerbells movies with how easy they can push vessels like boats like it's nothing - Vidia going in with the wind though- peak
It also gives us more wiggle room to empathize with them. Imagine being this powerful yet having your life tied to the whims of a child.
I find it interesting how real Tinkerbell's motivation is in this. She genuinely sees what she's doing as a good thing for those she cares about rather than doing it out of pure malice. In her mind Wendy is always depicted as evil with just a twisted smile but when we see Wendy about to be harassed due to Tink's plans we see her real face to remind us that Wendy isn't trying to cause trouble. She's actually just a pure and innocent girl who is enjoying the world and people she's getting to experience. Tink just sees it as evil because she's afraid of the consequences it may lead to.
The implication that the lost boys are her friends children makes this SO MYCH BETTER! Like, I love the fact she’s acting out of fierce protective instinct instead of jealousy.

I kept replaying this part because I couldn’t figure out what those three things were. Then it hit me. Faith Trust and Pixie dust. You can always have faith and trust but you need fairies for the pixie dust. You can’t fly without it

Reminds me of the sence where they try to fly without pixie dust in the beginning of the movie only much more darker and I love it
Oooh I personally thought it was Wings (like how in the 3rd movie Tink’s wings were torn off), Pixie dust and Faith. They have two of them and lacking the last one
@@fairyd3ity967 I fully get that and would make sense but I think that only applies to fairies as Peter Pan flys and he doesn’t have wing (unless they really small/joking)
And the pixie dust does require happy thoughts in some iterations. With that ending, Pan may no longer able to fly even if he gets a newborn fairies pixie dust.
I've watched this twice now and am slowly losing my mind over it. This is so insanely dark, and I love how Tink's attempts get more and more personal, starting with "frame it as an accident," followed by "oh dear I guess Neverland is just so dangerous" and finally ending with "if I have to drag you down myself, I will." I love how the other fairies are animated, utterly worn down and grief-stricken, bags under their eyes and totally disheveled, and how Tinkerbell starts out as clean-cut and calculated, clearly distancing herself, only to get increasingly desperate and emotional and deranged. The voice acting is also so freaking good, starting out cold and slightly guilty then slowly, slowly showing that infamous Tinkerbell rage and her increasing loathing for this naive girl dooming them all.
So. Freaking. *Good*.
The cool thing is. In the original book, Tinker Bell almost succeeded in tricking the lost boys to shoot down the “Wendy Bird.” It was only because of Peters thimble kiss she survived.
The worst thing is they'll forget this even happened. Neverland makes you forget stuff, even people, if they're not around anymore you'll gradually lose all memories related to them. So all Tink as to do is stay away from them for a couple weeks and the come back and Peter and the gang, with no memories of her deeds, will Just wonder where the little Fairy went....
I truly adore this being a matter of survival. The less kids believe,the quicker a fairy fades out. And to know Tink already lost two of her dearest friends,of course she's desperate to keep what little she got around
Besides,in many folklores fairies do essentially kidnap children,and if makes sense they'd want the kids they come from,those kids who had their very first laugh and created them,that ensures they live,children forever,believers forever
Hell,Tinker Bell has a twin sister named Periwinkle,keeping Peter around isn't even for her own survival but her sister's too
The fact that peter even seems horrified of wendy dying when in the orginal book Peter seems to barely grasp the concept of death. He himself is implied to kill any lost boys that get to old and looking forward to dying " its an adventure to look forward to" . I think the only time Peter seems shocked is than tinkerbell is almost dying. I like to think maybe the reason this version of Peter in the video is actually horrified is not just because its Wendy thats about to die but that its tinkerbell thats causing it and while Wendy is still young and could have been convinced to stay like the others
Book Peter doesn't grasp death because his memories are fucked so badly that everything becomes a first experience for him over and over again, including death.
Disney's Peter doesn't seem to have that same memory issue OG Peter has. Which would allow him a wider range of emotion and understanding, and leave room for character development because he will remember events in his life, unlike his original version. So likely, Disney's Peter would understand the gravity of death
Actually the other theory is that once they get to old he drops them off back in the “real” world. That’s much more whimsical and in character and all the better jest.

That's an interesting take. If the kid who laugher they are born from die, then the fairy dies. I also love how the fairies all help her instead of condemn her for trying to kill Wendy. After all, they are all on the same page. Save what's left of their people and friends no matter what

This was glorious...a horrible dark thought entered my head after watching a few times (and thinking about Jane in Return to Neverland).
What if after Wendy died, Tinkerbell suddenly started to weaken. The other fairies surround her, but nothing they do helps, and then, they also collapse.
It doesnt make sense, the Lost Boys and Peter are right there...until they see the tears in his eyes, and Tinkerbell dies acknowledging an ironic truth.
She killed Wendy to keep Peter and the Lost Boys in Neverland, but in doing so, she broke their faith and trust.
Peter might be forever a child. But he doesnt believe in fairies anymore.
I love that while the children were falling and being rescued by their fairies, you can hear them say “Watch out, child!”
That such a cool observation it makes sense since the only thing stopping tink was Wendy and not her brother who did nothing to deserve death

I love that line because in the Peter Pan movie he says “all it takes is *faith* and *trust* , (ect. ect.) and *pixie dust* ” but not just that you also need happy thoughts and I can imagine that’s hard to do when you’re falling hundreds of feet down to the earth.
Okay so I just binged all the villain songs, and I think this one‘s my favourite. The vocals are *amazing*, the story makes perfect sense and the animation underlines everything perfectly!

A particularly heartbreaking thing to think about in this turn of events is what becomes of Wendy's family. Since they were spared, it means that, not only did John and Michael have to watch their older sister die a horrific death, but they're also now trapped in Neverland. On top of that, with Wendy dead and John and Michael stuck, their parents would never know what happened to them.
Unless Hook finds about it. Since the original story implies he used to be a lost boy until he found out the truth of what was happening, like another person said. I could totally see Hook bringing a letter back to England

Friend,I don’t know if you noticed but in this AU,Michael and John don’t go to Neverland,only Wendy is taken there and without them realizing it and possibly all of that happened to their sister while they are asleep at home😶,Peter basically kidnapping her in his own way like in the movie and the brothers they will never know what happened to her in that night 💀,much less that Wendy died at the hands of the fairies especially TinkerBell and it’s all Peter’s fault for basically leading Wendy to her doom and his death 💔☠️
Either you die a hero, or live long enough to become a Villain. In this case, Tink is doing both, saving a species at the cost of a few children... Dark as Hell but a very Grey form of Chaotic Evil, doing whatever is necessary to keep her people and family alive.
In short and in this song, Tinker Bell would be an antiheroine and not a villain since she does a horrible act to save her species.
@@marianaandreanavascifuntes2001 i believe in this case, the term Anti-Villain would be better... Anti-heroes do bad things, sure, but they still have a line they won't cross. Tink here is at the absolute 'then Ends justify the means' which an Anti-Villain lives by.
I love this kind of villain, where they don't really want to be evil but circumstances have forced them to be the villain. Grade A
Especially when you take into account that the fairies in Neverland can only feel one thing at a time, and have it turned up, like, all the notches

Damn, that realization that probably hit Wendy once she looked around and realized that everyone but her was going to be saved...I absolutely loved Tinkerbell as a kid and still do now! This was amazingly done!
And her look! The last panel of her was her closing her eyes, she has accepted her death and knew everyone was saved 😭😭

That ending shot gives me chills- it came to my attention that Tink pushing her like that makes the death painless but like that’s probably traumatic for the lost boys and Peter to go through
