I really don't get Disney: they had two of the very few shows that handled romance well with multiple couples in both of them (The Owl House and The Ghost and Molly McGee), and what they did with both of them? They cancelled/brutally shortened both of them... Go figure...
I love how the expressions in this show is so simple and lively. we don't need those complex and beautiful ones like wish, we need relatable ones, like TGAMM.

This is how he would be until Miss Lightfoot snapped him out of his "trance" by telling him that he should be paying attention in class and not sleeping. After that awkward moment, Ollie would be determined to know the truth, so taking a page from his notebook he would start to write a letter, which he would start to pass on to the students as far as Molly. Meanwhile, she was scribbling ghosts in her notebook until she receives Ollie's letter. When she opens it, she sees that it says "When you have time, meet me in my driveway after school. There's something we need to talk about in private. Ollie."
After school and going home, Scratch would ask Molly why she is listening to him, if he thought they broke up. To which Molly responds by saying that she already knows she can't be with him since he's a ghost hunter and could put Scratch at risk. But now that they see each other, the situation between them becomes awkward and weird. Molly: He said he wanted to talk to me about something. I don't know what to do, Scratch! If I talk to him, I break our promise, but he said it was important. Maybe if I talk to him things won't be so bad, right? Scratch: Surely you must be exaggerating, and maybe it's not that serious. Maybe he needs you to help him with something of his own. Molly: But... *Thinking* you're right, maybe it's a charity event or something. Scratch: See? You can always trust me. Molly: Alright, we're getting there. If you want, go home without me, just in case. I'd hate to get caught again, last time I almost had a fit. Just be careful, okay buddy? Scratch (invisible): Remember, without falling in love. Molly: Without falling in love. Scratch sneaks into Molly's room through the window. Molly sees Ollie with a cold and serious face while holding a strange artifact.
Molly: *gulp* *nervous* Well... here I am *awkward laugh* Did I make you wait too long? Oliver: *calm/serious* Don't worry. Actually, you arrived on time. Molly: So... what was it you wanted to talk to me about? Oliver: *calm/serious* Does this sound familiar? *shows him June's broken trap* Molly: *awkward silence* Oliver: *calm/serious* This spectral trap was in the school's backyard the night of the dance. Do you happen to know who or what broke it? Molly: *nervous* I...uh...maybe it's broken. Or... it was the wind or... maybe the ghost broke free on its own. Oliver: *Calm/serious* Yeah, I highly doubt that it broke on its own, or that the ghost managed to escape. And what is that wind theory? When did the wind break something? Molly: *sweating from nerves* Uh...
That’s my problem with the ship. 1. They look like siblings 2. They are carbon copies of eachother I don’t care whatever you guys say, I don’t like the Mollie ship. The thing that makes me interested in ships is when they are different and they have their own troubles that the others may or may not understand. It’s summed up perfectly by a quote I saw in Reddit: “It’s like chunky peanut butter and smooth peanut butter, they have differences but if you put them in a sandwich you can’t tell the difference.”
