It also was a three on the tree brought down to the floor. This truck brings back lots of memories!

Hey good luck to you kerrylewis2581 and everyone else. I didn't participate the contest as I have my own build starting. The most important thing is that we are all about saving these great classic rides. Of America and other countries from around the world to cruise the road again.
I'm glad you didn't V8 swap it.I like that engine and would work well for me on my farm Also thank you for the chance to win this. Next time maybe the chevelle.
So nice to see a couple where the people complement each other so nicely. The two of you are incredibly blessed to have each other. The truck is awesome!
These multiple part builds are amazing. Whoever is fortunate enough to win this truck I hope appreciates all the detail and time spent making it what it is. Definitely a family effort, awesome job guys!
Watching you all put this truck together as a family is such a beautiful thing to see, great job, whoever wins this will be getting a life long classic.
I am SO glad you didn’t have black paint for those wheels! Saves me the trouble of having to repaint them white when I get it home. Fantastic job on the truck Derek!!!
I was thinking black rims with the stock dog dishes and a trim ring would break the truck up. Even with the rims in white. Those hubcaps are just not doing it for me. Yet to each their own. Great job VGG and good luck to everyone who entered.
Thank you so much for putting the original steel wheels back on that truck with those hubcaps. I don't think there's any aftermarket wheels that would look better than what you've done!! What a wonderful truck, you really outdid yourself on this one. Thank you for taking us along for the whole experience. :)
I love the truck reveal! I remember growing up with my dad's 73 Ford truck, camper special, was a daily driver until he sold it in the early 2000s. I bought some more Vice Grip gear for additional entries, I hope I win it, but will be happy to wherever it goes to. Thank you for the great videos Darrel!
Every week, for the past little bit, I get to sit down and watch Derek restore my childhood. My grandfather took me hunting and fishing in his '78 anytime the sun was out. Whoever wins this truck, just know that there is a muddy little 5 year old standing in the seat next to you, so don't forget to carry an extra fishing pole behind the seat.
That's one clean build. Beautiful work and to think someone will get many years of enjoyment from this old F100 that's been brought back to life. Great job guys.
Derek this rig turned out absolutely beautiful. What you do for your fans is so commendable and heartfelt and Jessica is such a great wife to be at your side in all you do. Someone is going to love this great truck for a lifetime.
Derek, I thoroughly enjoy your work & video(s). But, for me, the best part is when Jessica and/or your boys are involved! You’re such a family man and it shows! May God continue to bless you and your family!
Absolutely love these builds that you do bringing this truck back and then raffling it off. The best part about this video was your entire family was involved with you in doing this project in your garage the road trips picking up vehicles that haven’t run in 20 or 30 years and then driving home, very good. But hands-down, I love these big restoration product projects that you and your family do the garage and I also love the family trips to the different speed events. It’s just an opinion from a guy who’s watched all your video content.
Really great looking rig. Really enjoy the cheap restorations, but there is something about making a rig shiny and polished. This has been so satisfying to watch. Great work!
Loved this build from beginning to end. Brought back some memories when my dad got his new shiny 1977 Ford truck. His 300 straight 6 looked nothing like the one in this truck though😂 This truck is simply beautiful. You and your friends did an amazing job on it. Whoever wins that truck won't stop smiling for a week.
I have LOVED this series, superb. Been so fun to watch a vehicle go thru the transformation over time with all the parts, also loved seeing the fam involved. Would have been happy with more videos on this thing. Great content keep it up!
This is one of the most satisfying builds I have had the pleasure to see on any channel. That 300 six is awesome. So glad you did that. Glad you kept the wheels white. Great choice on the hubcaps but the factory dog dish caps would have looked equally at home.
This truck revival was my first VGG episode. Got such a kick out of watching you do your thing, your humor, your get it done methods-some unique, anyways, was hooked from there to now. I got a 15 year old son who has fallen in love with this truck. Someone very deserving is going to get a jewel. Thanks Bieri Family.
Derek, I am a die hard Ford guy, and let me tell you, that truck is truly beautiful. Thank you for sticking with the 300, cause that is hands down the best straight six out there. They are hard to kill even when you are bad to them. I blew a rear seal on one, and literally ran gear oil in the engine so I would not lose my oil as fast. You did a great job, Ford, Chevy, or Dodge, you are great with them.😊
Love the truck Derek!! My first vehicle when I was 15 was a 1967 Ford F100 Pickup Truck! It also had the 300 stump puller! Loved that truck! Great memories!! I would be proud to own another one! Thank you for the video series on this build and thank you to Kevin for his help with the body and paint!
@ViceGripGarage i have no words! What an awesome Job you did on this truck Derek! I remember when the episode come out about about this lonely old F100 left for dead and look at fhis truck now! I think many will agree this is why we love VGG! Thanks Derek! - Mark
Been following a feller since the beginning. Love all the revivals and projects, but this is by far the best payoff EVER. This truck would haven new in my senior year of HS. I worked at an Amoco gas station right next-door to the Ford dealer so I saw them on the lot every day. Warms a guy's heart, and... I'm a die hard MOPAR guy!
That truck is beautiful. You guys did a great job restoring it . Those hub caps are perfect on the truck . Jessica is right the blue is perfect with the white. Congratulations to who ever wins it . Best wishes to everyone 🎉
I love that you do all the work yourself. So many TH-camrs just parts swap things, or have other people fix things for them. Even though your channel is huge compared to where it was a few years ago, you seem to be the same person. God bless you for that, and for sharing with us.
That's probably one of the nicest revivals I've seen! Not only did you get 'er running smooth, but you put a modern touch to a classic pickup while givin' 'er a second chance at life for a lucky fan. Amazing work to you, your team, and your family! She's a looker and a runner now.
My wife and I have watched this series and enjoyed it very much. Congratulations to the whomever wins. A big thank you to you and your family for the chance.
Okay, was never ever EVER a fan of American cars from 30-80s, BUT my god, Derek's restoration video and this F100 (literally tip the scale) made a massive change in me. I have more respect for these things than...basically ever! Thank you so much for these videos!
This truck turned out amazing Derek! Who ever wins her will be over the moon!! My youngest son was always helping me. Love you guys. God bless you and your family.❤❤❤ Larry Smith from Oklahoma.🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Love your content Derek! I’m from Australia and the Ford crossflow 250ci 6 was a great engine in its day. The 2V 250ci which it replaced was a beast for a 6 cylinder in Australia. The Australian Barra 6 is the ultimate and the last Australian made ford engine which is now hot property all over the world given its legendary power potential.
It's really too bad that the big six(Friends down under tell me the 300 was called the Canadian down there) never got the same attention that the 250 did. Ford did develop a crossflow head in the mid 80's, but it never made it past prototype stage.
Love all the choices you made. Since I was alive back then, I might have gone with the period correct hub caps, but so glad you saved this so close to original.
The pick up truck is amazing. The new owner is going to absolutely love it. You have done an amazing job with all your help and the team that helped with it. Thank you for sharing this amazing journey with that pick up.😊
YESSSS! Original wheel and tire style was absolutely the right call. I love watching you and Mrs Bieri work together. Your years of partnership are obvious as you both read each other's minds for what's next, and what needs done. What a great series, and what a fantastic looking rig! Thank you as always ~ Chuck
I understand sanding. Did a restoration/build on a 1947, 45’ wooden sailboat. We also use bondo and faring to make the boat look fiberglass. Didn’t want to have to recalk the seams every year. 6 coats sealer, 3 coats of barrier cover to keep the parasites out of the wood, 2 primer coats, and 2 finish coats. Sanding between each coat. Boat is going around the world.
I haven't watched this video yet, but over the last 6 months I have been catching up. Watched the other channels and whatnots. To your family. God bless you and your family! We The People! 0:500:50 ! That's all I got

Hey good luck to you kerrylewis2581 and everyone else. I didn't participate the contest as I have my own build starting. The most important thing is that we are all about saving these great classic rides. Of America and other countries from around the world to cruise the road again.
I agree 1000%. This rust-free example of a truck should live another 50 years easily with proper care.@@327JohnnySS
I'm glad you didn't V8 swap it.I like that engine and would work well for me on my farm Also thank you for the chance to win this. Next time maybe the chevelle.
All you fellers that participated on making this rig all nice and Shiny, I thank you very much, Ya'll did an outstanding job, God bless.
Are you the lucky devil ? She's a beauty ..
What a nice truck , is the transmission a 3 or 4 speed?
The quality of the work done to this truck is as good as I've ever seen done to any truck.. very well done derek 👏 respect to you sir 👍
My grandfather had a blue early 70s ford loved that truck and all the great memories. This series had me hooked
Someone is going to love this great truck for a lifetime.
the family that puts hoods on together stays together!
One month after it was completed, and no word after that about it, or who won it? Or am I missing something?
If I ever won anything of value I also wouldn't wanna advertise it to everyone.
Derek, I thoroughly enjoy your work & video(s). But, for me, the best part is when Jessica and/or your boys are involved! You’re such a family man and it shows! May God continue to bless you and your family!
You know,it’s nice to see VGG family working and helping the Master out.Love all what y’all do.truck looks really good!
I do appreciate Jessica working so hard on my truck. Excellent job VGG.
So we are sharing this truck??😂
Hey man, I done put claim to it 2 videos ago! 🤣🤣🤣
Community property??
@@13DixiefriedSounds good!! LOL!!
Looks beautiful. Congrats to the new owner who wins this amazing truck. Well done Derick and Family
Thank you, I am very excited about winning my new truck. 😂
Hey there! Really enjoy your program, and appreciate your love of older vehicles and returning them to useful life! 😊🙌
Dude, you gotta go back to the very first video of VGG and binge watch them all, you will be so glad you did!!!
I’ve fallen in love with this truck. She’s an absolute beauty!
@@Big88Country OH I HAVE.
I love that your wife gets out there and helps you as well as your little humans
It would look great driving around the UK in this beautiful truck. Very well done to everyone involved....Thank you Derek and family. 👍
You did a great job, Ford, Chevy, or Dodge, you are great with them.😊
Couldn't agree more, that video powernation did on one a bit ago was super cool to watch.
I'm old school I started n a 1968 ford ...I love them clean stock builds ...ever 1 else butchers them up..but vice grip hit a home run
You are by far my favorite youtuber sir!!! You're a great family man and always giving back to your fans God bless you brother!!!
I'm a Chevy girl, but,I love the early 70's Ford trucks......
@17:51 😂😂😂😂 listen to Derek and Jessica. This is what keeps me coming back. The realness of it all. Love me some VGG!
Just gorgeous. Perfect. I couldn't even imagine getting the call to win this thing....complete ecstasy!!!!!
Thanks buddy! I'll never change. Although I'll admit it's hard being the only employee of VGG on some projects!
@@ViceGripGarage Ever find out who won ?
Just wanted to thank a feller for inspiring me to get off my rear and get back to doing what I love. Thanks Derek, best wishes to you and your family.
Been watching your show for a few years now and I gotta say, You must be just blown away with the people you have gotten to work with. I grew up watching Kevin build some amazing cars with incredible skill! Same with Tony, what a legend!! A guy must just be living his best life and its incredible to be a small part of your journey! Thank you for the hours of time and dedication I know you put into this just for us. We are all truly blessed to have a fella like you around. Cant wait to see what is next!
Derek, ❤ any body will be proud to get this truck. It's a beautiful truck. I enjoy watching your videos. It reminds me when I was younger and my boy's were helping me working on my truck's . My youngest son was always helping me. Love you guys. God bless you and your family.❤❤❤

Thank you for sharing this amazing journey with that pick up.😊
WELL DONE!!!!! You built a beauty Derek!!!! Congrats to whoever gets this girl!!!
Love to see JESSICA + ERIC making things work, inspiration for other COUPLES, + the little humans ! 💕👍
Eric huh? LOL
Shh Don't tell Derek. Moses sandles!!!
Who the hell is Eric???
@@hooty465 guy done outed poor Eric, Big Derek gonna be hot if he reads this!! LOL
I haven't watched this video yet, but over the last 6 months I have been catching up. Watched the other channels and whatnots. To your family. God bless you and your family! We The People! 0:50 0:50 ! That's all I got
Thanks!
This family is really ,"in the hood".WHAT a gift from your family Jess and Derek. The thought behind it is good old love.God bless you all.
I think this is so awesome. My dad was a huge dent side fan and seeing you guys bring this old truck back to life just does something to my feelers. Thank you all.
Derek, this is great how you do this with you family. Its AWESOME that Jessica knows how to work on cars. I really hope you make more of these type of videos so you can spend more time with your family. My daughter Shelby and I love watching you folks. You are inspiring.
Can’t wait to drive that truck all the way back to California and then to Hot August nights in RENO in August!
Poverty Caps are exactly what that beautiful truck needs. the look of OG is totally awesome! Nice job, Derek!
I love watching your family work on this Build some of your best videos is when you're working with your wife and your kids in my opinion. I absolutely love the hubcaps! I know whoever gets it is going to cherish it.
The old ford turned out amazing someone is going to be super proud to own it thanks to your whole family and friends that help you out your my favorite car guy to watch Derek stay safe my friend
love seeing jessica helping out when she can, my kinda woman, not afraid to get her hands dirty !
Looks great, thanks for being the most entertaining and semi educational guy out there
Wish I'd got in on that one. Pop had a white Ford like it. Great everyday trucks.
Love watching VGG. It's been a pleasure watching the show grow and seeing the boys working in the shop with dad. Lovely family-friendly show. Thanks for sharing this with us big guy.
