Regarding the gas tank removal - around 1980 I bought a 1972 Buick lesabre my wife drove and the in tank sending unit went out. Being unable to afford having it done and working 7 days a week on end I decided to do it. I layed under it rested the tank on my chest and then got her to the ground and visa versa. Remember my wife coming out when had the tank on my chest saying dinner and finally handing me a pb&j sandwich because she knew I was way too invested to stop 😅.

Simple yet elegant at the same time. I like the tail lights. Derek, when are we gonna see the return of your brother ? I laughed so hard when you two were working together... You having fun... Him looking at you like you've completely lost your mind. Hilarious !! Thanks for letting me hang out with you for a bit. I really appreciate it.
Great video, I have a quick question. I am an aspiring trader, I am looking study some traders and earn off their expertise rather than investing myself and lose money emotionally. Whats your take on copy trading? Do people really make money? Just looking for some reassurance. Thank you!
Focus on long term investments in property, stocks, and bonds. Avoid copying, daytrading and 'chart astrology'. Diversify across different geographies, industries, and value chain stages - to reduce your risk. You can do this with ETFs, or by selecting different stocks yourself. This is the best way to invest for more than 90% of people
Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others, as an investor, you should’ve known that by now, nothing beats experience and that’s final, personally I had to reach out to a market analyst for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to a million, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I’m buying again.
How can I participate in this? I sincerely aspire to establish a secure financial future and am eager to participate. Who is the driving force behind your success?
ANGELA LYNN SCHILLING' is her name. She is regarded as a genius in her area and works for Empower Financial Services. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.
I believe that the fill neck has a "anti-siphoning" device installed in the fill tube, that makes it really tough to pull the fuel out thru it. You can pass a very small diameter rubber hose, but it'd take a long time to pull 12-15 gals of gas out of the tank. You can see part of that "anti-theft" device that's in the filler pipe, a little later on during the installation portion of the vidjeo (34:06).
Dear Mr Editor, from the bottom of my heart, thank you ever more for not exposing my fragile soul to 20 minutes of Derek rolling bolts around in an old gas tank. Eternally indebted.

So excited for this! Currently locked out of the house, the ol lady left with the baby and locked the doors the same day I decided to take the fun car to work that doesn’t have a house key on it lol but the WiFi reaches!
😂😂😂😂. Hopefully you got cold snacks at least!!
😅 drink a few cold pops and break a window...
You might want to call a lawyer…
Ur one lucky feller. Ya might not believe it, but ur lookin right at it!
Been there. But it was pre VGG - was a lot less enjoyable than your experience.
My dad had this model car, but a very light yellow color. It was a dream to drive and to ride in. His was about 1 year old when he brought it.
The choice of music in this episode is SO perfect for this car
Nothing like wrapping up a hard day at work and coming home and watching some VGG to get the weekend started!
Appreciate ya!
Every video is gold .Derek was born to do this and he is the best at what he does hands down ! Best car videos on the tubes !!!
“Salt lick in a pasture.” 😂😂😂
Good ole country metaphors!
Some of the best metaphors and metafives out there!!
I found your show on HBO, got to tell a feller that even the other half enjoys it. Glad you’re still making youtube a better place. Thanks Derek ( and Jessica)
Derrick Bieri you make me proud to be an American. You're really a national treasure in my estimation. Long live the prosperity
Derek you are possibly the most nicest person I have ever seen. I love that you call spark plugs.... Sparkler laters😊keep up the good work x
Gotta say, when that tank jumped out at him and he dodged, ducked, dipped, dove and dodged, I was dyin'. 😂😂
I think this is now my favorite car you have done! I love purple, and that color came out GREAT! Enjoy!
Strap the gas tank to a tractor wheel and have one of the boys drive around for half an hour. Works great.
Cement mixer works too
I love the good ol’ fashioned revivals but seeing what happens to them after they get home is awesome. It’s nice to see these cars make it out of Rusty Acres and Hub Cap Hills!
Derek - great transformation!
Just goes to show what a little elbow grease and determination can do to restore an old forgotten ride to its original glory days. 😊
This car is pretty cool Derek , I would send it down the road to someone who will cherish it instead of letting it sit around and get dirty again, thank you and the family for all you do 👍
Regarding the gas tank removal - around 1980 I bought a 1972 Buick lesabre my wife drove and the in tank sending unit went out.
It's hard to word the happiness I have seeing 1+ hour episodes. Saves me from boredom at power shedding times. Thank you so much for your hard work!
I do enjoy seeing these revivals getting cleaned up and loved on. Keep em coming!
We enjoy seeing the fellow doing work at home save money in travel expenses and guy can be home with family
My brother had a Dodge Mirada the same, and the same color. He was so proud of that car.
I am not a mopar guy but that is one nice looking daily goin to town rig. Nice job Derek!
This disabled veteran would be interested in this rig Derek.
This is one of if not the most awesome and beautiful cars I have seen here on VGG! Thank you for sharing this journey with us!
Derek needs foam kneeler pads. Garden stores should have them. Saves much discomfort especially on concrete or gravel.
His lack of safety glasses, during very dangerous tasks, is also disturbing. I fail to understand how and why he has not long ago, blinded himself.
Safety squints are just like glasses.
Derek: Pay the extra and get the Monica Lewinsky signature model knee pads. They're more durable and well worth it.
@@frankrizzo5057 Ha! Not.
No Kneepads for me resulted in bursitis. Requiring an operation. One month recovery. Never again.
20 year warranty on the Leatherman. Had mine 19 years, broke the pliers, sent it in and got a whole new (possibly refurbished, but like new) unit a few weeks later, Woo hoo!
Awesome, so nice companies honor their charters.
I got mine taken away at the airport 🙄
@@bgee461 that’s illegal if you read the fine print on the DHS website they must offer your property back at no charge to you. They are most likely trained to not offer that legal compliancy at the time of confiscation.
@@bgee461My son was home on leave from the Marines and I gave him a full set of wrenches to keep back at his home on the base. Dadgum they took them at airport security . The only option he had was miss his flight back and be AWOL so he could keep his wrenches or not contest them and let them keep them. I fully understand security on airplanes but wrenches?
After being one of the first UK subscribers when Del Boy was rolling around on the dirt floor of his first garage I watched a full episode for the first time in a long time and was mighty impressed by the content - what a lovely car this is and what a shame they are no longer made for us to buy new these days! Brought this rig back from the dead. Del seems to have come a long way since the dusty days too! Well done son!
A true Master Mechanic doesn't bother with a thousand tools behind him he pulls out a Leatherman
Derek's starting to get some love for the Mopars!
She cleans up right nicely. I could see myself cruisin' this rig around town. Great job Derek. 👍👍
"Let's get this Chrysler shining like a salt lick in a pasture!"♥︎♡♥︎
Love the clean ups just as much as the initial revival.Great seeing these pieces of history saved!!!
Man you do such a good job. The hours and let's be honest sacrifices you make to put these videos out and do this constantly is incredible. Sorry if this sounds like AKing but, I've been watching you for 4 years now and it just amazes me how much you love this stuff and just live and breathe it everyday. I'm sure you've heard this before but THANK YOU
OMG!! When you asked what is the gas tank caught on, my husband said the fuel neck. Then you said you heard people saying the fuel neck stop shouting. We are laughing over here in Pennsylvania!! 😂❤ Thanls for the great content!
Vice Grip President anyone? All foreign dignitaries have to meet in the garage to solve world issues by working to rebuild something. Derek for Vice President!
After seeing the first VGG video on this car I found the story on the "Sinatra Imperial" and found it fascinating! Quite a peace of automotive history!!
I can just picture a couple thousand guys yelling at their phone screen, "filler neck man, filler neck." Lol
No Car has ever needed a Hellcat swap more.
It's great to see Derek work on something that I was in the passenger seat along for the ride back home ( not physically). I really like the Imperial's rear section.
You know you've made it when 40k people in an hour will watch you wash a car. Well done Sir.
He saving cars worldwide inspiring new mechanics
Yes indeed. Greatest channel on the Tube, hands down.
Love when you guys find a car in the barn and clean it up
This is my number 1 channel to watch. I think I am caught up!
Found her, I wrote her an email and scheduled a call, hopefully she responds, I plan to start 2024 on a woodnote financially.
Why didn't a feller syphon the gas out first?
Right?! Just seems like it would make it so much easier.

By-golly, yer right ✅️
Thanks!!!!!
I did?
I love seeing the other side of a rescue - get it all doll'd up and back on the road - where they Belong! Thank you Derek for saving another one.
I wonder what Derek Bieri is doing today
😂
DEREK is actually talking to his imaginary friend ( the camera ) , but knows the camera will talk to us, 🤣 🙏💪🙌💕😎✔️
Dear Mr Editor, from the bottom of my heart, thank you ever more for not exposing my fragile soul to 20 minutes of Derek rolling bolts around in an old gas tank. Eternally indebted.
Derek, if you had to take a guess, how many miles do you think you have under your belt just in driving revivals back home? I can only imagine.🤯
Thousands and thousands
I can hear Carl Sagan saying it now...."Billions and Billions"
