Is Songkran TOO CRAZY in Pattaya, Thailand?

- My first day in Pattaya City during the Songkran Festival and I hang out with friends both new and old as we play on Soi Buakhao and around Tree Town!
Note: this video is a repost from last year (2023). I had such a great time last year and you can see it in this video but it was unfortunately one of my least viewed videos on the channel so I decided to put it out again this year.

it seems like just yesterday that i was watching these songkran videos last year lol time really does fly by
i am sure this year will be just as nice, missed it last year and will miss it this year...25 looks promising for a songkran return
This year I’ll be headed to Ang Thong for a traditional holiday experience and than back to Pattaya for the last 2 days of craziness!

@@peteonretreat2023 Yeah, I'm pretty sure I would like it. As hot as it is there, I'm sure getting hit with the water probably felt good. Although you're probably used to the heat by now.
If that is what Soi Buakhao looked like, I can only imagine how crazy Soi 6 was. Where did you stay? I stayed at 3 different hotels while there. I liked Holiday Inn Express the most. Although next time I will stay in Phratamnak or Jomtien for most of my stay. That downtown is great in small doses.

It used to be 3 days in the long past now It's turn into full month.
Tbf, even in Pattaya this year the water games are only going on for 10 days and only in a few small areas. It’s definitely not 3 weeks or a month long.
Started yes but by next weekend you will barely be able to walk thru the sea of peeps in the street...see you then my friend..battling bronchitis for next 3 or 4 days

Wait a minute Pete- they're spraying in Pattaya/Jomtien ALREADY? I flew to the U.S. March 30m and just booked a return for April 22-24. First time in the States since Sept. 2023. My first trip to Thailand was April 12-May 7, 2023, but Jomtien, Bangkok, Pattaya and Hua Hin combined
This was Songkran 2023.

Yes, for the last 2 days. Tonight I’m in Ang Thong for a traditional village Songkran

I only want to get wet in a swimming-pool, so Songcran is not for me!
