- Back in March, my girlfriend and I went to the beautiful Koh Khitchakut mountain in the Chantaburi province of Thailand. This is a very special place for Thai Buddhists as it's said to have Buddha's footprints preserved at the top near the base of a huge boulder. The mountain is known as the Buddhist stairway to heaven. It's an amazing place that sadly, very few foreigners ever go to or get to see. Khao Khitchakut is only open in February and March every year.
My travel videos never do well, so I ask you to please give this one a like and a comment. It really motivates me to keep making vlogs of my trips and sharing the "real" Thailand with our community.

Great adventure Pete and Koi? I lost my first comment due to my connectivity. Really enjoyed but was hoping to see the Buddha footprint, yet as you say, respect for the area. Quite the ride pickup bed style, was thinking downhill would be "hairy" as we used to say in AZ, USA back in the day. You two seem so happy together, it pisses me off! 555 kidding. Am not looking for or want to live with a girlfriend, It's all good, Peace and Love Y'all, Thank you
The footprint(s) was a very busy area. We went and bowed down for a round of prayers right next to it and then moved to allow the next batch of people to have their turn. I really try not to film people when they’re praying.
I wasn’t looking for a girlfriend either but the right woman appeared so I had to say yes.
Looks like a lot of fun... I'll have to try to be around Feb/Mar next year and give it a try
The whole trip was a blast. Looking forward to doing more of it next year. They have nighttime trips up the mountain too!

I was reading that the lanes intentionally switch in places to make it safer… driving on the left list of the time but putting the down on the right to prevent going over the edge in places.

Yeah, I didn’t know how close we were until I did the map segment. I’ve been itching to go back since I pretty much only went to Angkor Wat.

Do people ever swim at those beaches or are their separate beaches for swimming?
I think they do but we arrived around sunset. We’ll do a beach day when we go back next year.
