Caller really shouldn't worry about getting blown off her hand. She picked a weird hand to bluff with in this scenario (if it was like she opens UTG and guy 3 bets, I think a 4 bet bluff is defensible with AQo).
Once the flop comes A66hh w/ 2 SPR, given action, I'm checking, feigning kings/queens, and hoping this guy levels himself into blowing off his stack with 99-QQ as a bluff. Maybe we get value from AJs doing bet-shove. Maybe.

I'm going through and listening to every single one of these hand videos. I have to say this is probably one of the most interesting ones. I keep going back to preflop with this hand. Had she just flatted the 3bet, then maybe she wouldn't have had such anxiety about flopping an ace because the guys range could be somewhat wider and not as strong as whent he calls the 4 bet.

Agreed. Since she 4bet she immediately & he calls she assigns him a better range (generally correct to do so) as she said I was afraid of AK.

had the same situation last month I checked AA(my set), on the flop villan shoved with AK(he had top pair). Showing weakness(mixing in some checks) vs lags is profitable.

so you are saying if you didn't slow play it, you wouldn't have made as much as you did ?

the 4-bet to 140 killed this hand. Woman sounds like a fish in all honesty. She did say people were betting at her and trying to play pots with her. They probably also noticed her getting out of line. The 4-bet to 140 polarizes his range in my opinion, Like Host said, she's turning it into a bluff and 90% of the time 140 preflop in a 1/2 game even if some stacks are really deep turns AQ (off suit) is the weakest part of your range. the all in on the turn once again polarizes the villain's range. Host does a good job explaining and going through it and thats why i like watching these break downs

Great analysis, agree with your approach myself. Surprised he only had 9s, and if she's willing to shove I don't see why checking would be bad? You're money is going into the pot either way if he bets, but now you have more info.

Is this a way ahead way behind situation on the flop?

Seems like it. No draws to worry about and drawing almost dead to AA, AK,66 and crushing basically anything else so ya.

I think Iris has an image flaw. In that she thinks to much about “how” she is being perceived. She understands what to do street to street but I feel like she “thinks” she is going to get bluffed or as she says “blown off her hand” instead of just playing her hand. As why she shoved turn but said I don’t know why. The reason she stated before is that she didn’t want to get bullied. Instead of just playing her hand. Very good call as AQ is sooooo tricky. Very good hand. But very tricky to maneuver street to street. Sometimes I say to myself. Forget your image or the other players perceived image from me or theirs. What’s the best play for this hand this spot period..then I build off of that continued decisions. We are often quick to label/stereotype even ourselves & that blocks our thinking in the present situation & flaws our decisions from street to street. Thanks for calling in the hand! 🙏

In my late 20s I found out that most women in my grad school classes, early-mid 20s, who were average students at worst, had thoughts like, "I'm not good enough, I don't belong here, I hope they don't figure out my sham". I don't know how common that is, especially these days, but this caller does sound like she underestimates herself a bit.
But wth, a poker table ain't no grad school, so I don't feel sorry for her, some of those dudes will underestimate a 20something girl and she can take advantage.

The interesting thing about his hand is that it shows how easy it is to mislabel opponents. Hero is assuming that this player is super tight and good - but his action here doesn't really match up with that. Calling the smallish 4-bet in position with 9s isn't too bad given pot odds. But then he loses to basically heroes entire 4-betting range on the flop. Like, what does she have here that's not ahead? Even KQs here is a pure flip if it's hearts.

I think AQo is a great candidate for a 4 bet bluff pre.

Old video, but surprised villain calls the 4-bet AND then the flop bet with 99. What’s he putting her on?
KK/QQ and thinks he can blast her off it when she checks the turn?
Hero’s shove on the turn is pure spew. Never getting called by worse and never folding better.

...so, say she checks turn back, and on river (any card between 7 and K no named A nor Q nor "h") - V (99) shoves. Does she call? Fold?
      1) Call...just to realize ohhh, I lost to a rivered set of 99?! Or
      2) fold: ohhh, I lost to a pair of 99?!

why do people on youtube only criticize the people who win big hands? the only hand she had to worry about was AK, and really wouldn't he have raised on the flop with that? Beyond that she was maybe chopping but ahead of the rest of his range and could have gotten called by TT-KK or AJ and won an even bigger pot. I don't think it was so bad, although I probably would have played it more conservative myself depending.

She overplayed her AQ on the flop by 4betting with it. Especially in these stakes, when you 4bet with AQ out of position you will only get called with a better hand or get 5 bet which will make you fold. You already have a tight range by 4betting so on the flop, most of your range will check back and you can also pot control and incentive opponent to bluff at it too. And so if you do bet on the flop, you bet such a small size that any suited hearts will call or even raise shove the flop. On the turn , she decides to shove which is even a worse play. Out of position, and you want to get max value with AQ on a A665 board? With AQ you want to get show down quickiest or at most get 2 streets of value.
