Being able to colour tasks on Google Calendar that match the colour of the List they're in would be a huge improvement. Hope they do that one day. 🤞🏻

I mentioned this in your other Google Tasks presentation: Google Tasks has a glaring omission, the ability to search for a task(s). This searching omission affects the PC and our Android Mobile app; Tasks cannot be searched. The ability to search within Task is particularly important, especially as one uses Tasks to become more organized and work on more projects.
It's incredible... Google, the masters of search.... I use Google Keep instead

Hi Tasia - very cool video. Some great tips. Not sure if you mention this in another video, but do you delete your completed tasks? If yes, how often? One of my favourite features is actually seeing my completed tasks in the calendar view (reminds me how busy I was on a given day.. LOL) so I'm always so hesitant about deleting them...but I have a feeling this is gonna clog up my app one day??

Hi Tasia I work a lot with google tasks and use many of the features it has but in this video I discovered the sub tasks, thanks for the tip!!!,. Something I have add is at the beginning of the name of each list an emoticon it make the appearance more cheerful.

Tasks is honestly so underrated. It offers a super efficient way to quickly keep up with follow-ups. (After you send an email, simply add it to tasks with a date when you'd like to follow up. Boom. No more forgotten emails that you sent out to the ether, never got a response back, and then never followed up about.)
One question: Do notifications work for you? I get notifications on mobile (thank to the Tasks app) but don't get any on desktop 🤔
Hi Tasia, big fan of your work. I think you are incredibly talented. ⚡️🤙 quick question for you. #1 when you create time based events for example I have a AM Routine and a PM Routine checklist that is time based like for example brush teeth 🪥 at 9:30pm type thing can I check those things off a list and then like in Google keep. Uncheck so I can keep fresh for the next day. Like check and uncheck. #2 Do you think 🤔 Google tasks will allow image upload would a necessary feature to have it be really more useful. Thx 🙏 ⚡️

Great video Tasia Here are 2 follow up questions. 1). It it possible for me to select which calendar i am going to create a task on when I amusing my android device? tried severally but the tasks only end up being created in my personal google calendar. 2) When i create a task in web on a shared calendar, my colleague whom i have shared the calendar with does not receive a notification about the tasks, but i do. However, creating an even in the same calendar sends notifications to us all. Is there something i am doing wrong with the task settings?

Is there are a way I can color code my tasks when they appear in my Google calender, opposed to all being the same color?
For example, if I have multiple task list, for example - 1. Client Servicing. 2. New business. 3. Admin. - is there a way these individual lists and the tasks within them, can appear in my calender in different colors - not all the same color?

when I add task from web to google task it wont sync with the task app on my iphone automatically, so I have to open the task app in iphone to do refresh is there a way to auto sync ? this also applies for google calendar app

Can you repeat a task with subtasks? I can't seem to be able to do it...
Thanks for the video. Unfortunately, Google does not allow a task that has subtasks to repeat. So if you have a multi-step checklist that happens every month, you will have to recreate it each time. It does not appear that you can copy a Task either. I guess we are left typing it out each time or marking it as Uncompleted and changing the date. Grrrr

Why do my subtasks not indent like yours? I've tried it on a free Google account as well as a paid Google Workspace account. Neither of them will indent.
The subtasks can be created from browser only. The subtasks can't have separate reminders.
If I want to mark one of your TH-cam videos to view again later and implements tips, I can't add it to Google Calendar. I have to add it to Google tasks. When I do this it doesn't give option as in which account and which list to save in. It picks the default account.
These options are not available on mobile app. One doesn't only work from computer only.
There's no search option for talks.
Also what you showed is not happening. I want to set a reminder for first Thursday in May, I'm not getting this option. I see you have it.
Created a new task which i wanted to add subtasks as a form of timetable to have different time within a day and also make them recurring every week of the year but i can't seem to be able to that, please I'd like if you or anyone else in the comment section can help put me through on this. Why would you add an email to tasks? It's an email meant to be read. I don't see the point of adding it to tasks. I can see adding a task labeled, "read/reply to emails" but why go into gmail and add it to tasks?
I forgot to ask if you know any search options.. that’s the only thing that does not convince my from tasks
Within the tasks sidebar, currently there is no search. However, if you added a date/time to the task, you can search in your GCAL and it would come up!
