I belong to an AARP group called SCSEP. We watch a variety of videos daily (if we choose to log in) and get some pocket change for doing so. Most of the videos are about writing a resume, feeling good about yourself, etc.....
They showed this video today and it was the most useful one to date, for me. I have a background with computers (school, personal, work) but this tutorial on Gmail tips was fantastic !!! I appreciate the basics on utilizing a system or email account. I'm over the top with BIOS, removing viruses, etc. I had to know certain things in the past for job related work but I'm not really interested in those type things anymore.

I really like that tip on customizing email addresses with a "." That is super helpful! :)
Very helpful! One tip that I use frequently is to search for is:unread to just show unread emails. I'm surprised there isn't a simple button to click like there is in Outlook. You did cover how you can show unread emails first but is:unread shows just unread emails.

Very helpful and well done video. I had given up on gmail allowing you to schedule when to send a message. Plus, I didn’t (and couldn’t) use a 3rd party app at my workplace. I like to delay send a message for the opposite reason that you supplied in your email. I didn’t want people to think I was working all night -we had far too many of those types of people in the office already and I didn’t want to add to people’s stress levels. Thanks for sharing this!

That was very helpful. I did not address my problem which is gmail is not displaying images from emails that I send to gmail. I think the problem is that gmail is concluding that these emails are not important since I am sending what looks like the same email a number of times. It is important to me as I am trying to verify that images transmit properly. Maybe if I use a priority system that will help or may change the subject. It is frustrating as I am trying to send to a few different email addresses to be sure that different emails will accept the images.

Thanks for the video Kevin. Good job surfacing some of the less-known features of Gmail (there are many). Minor correction - Priority Inbox was always a part of Gmail, it was just a bit hard to find.
