How neat is the fact, that I'm a student and my to-do list is so messy, and I wanted to start using Google Keep, but the idea was so overwhelming, and so like I opened my youtube account and I saw your video in the recommendations! You're a lifesaver, thank you!

I am a active senior citizen- involved in a lot that’s not work related- but i have pets that need flea meds monthly- they get a brown post it- the dogs photo is on my note with the date due and a reminder- one for each dog. Then i keep green notes for anything knitting group related and pink for my doctors and labs, i use orange for grocery lists and i collaborate with my husband so whoever goes shopping gets what we need. It ties in with my calendar too i just love it. It saves recipes, patterns etc. so much yet so compact and easy.

I use it to keep track of all my crafting supplies so I know what I have. I use the labels to identify what each item is and where it is located in my craft room with pics.

The tip I was looking for was at the 6:56 mark. I didn't know what "labels" meant and I have a bunch of notes now which I was "organizing" by a naming convention. The tip about "labels" was what I needed to know! THANKS Tasia!

OMG! I am probably at the far end of the spectrum of users. I will be 82 in a few months and I would like to put to rest that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. When you started the tutorial you mentioned about writing notes to oneself - I am so guilty. “Where is that >@#&)}% note”. I cannot count the number of times I’ve said that. I have tried several different note taking and to-do list programs and Keep blows them all away. I am of German heritage and there is an old saying, “Ve gets too olt too zoon und too late schmart” Not true, I have implemented Keep into my daily life. It is so feature laden that I always seem to find another shortcut or method of keeping track of the myriad of tasks and lists that I’ve created. I’m in the process of restoring a 300 year old house in New England and Keep is helping me keep my sanity. Thank you so much!

This is a very nice tutorial. Thank you for that. One deal-breaker for me is the lack of security. This video was created in Sep 2020, and as of today (April 2022), there's still no way to protect a note by passwording it. It looks like a good simple note-taking application but is not as secure as OneNote.
Edit: providing the direct desktop link was a great tip for taking simple notes during a meeting via voice recognition.
