It probably loaded a separate loopable area for that screen, and that's why joker may run after all the results of a battle have been shown, in order to load back to the main area
im just imagining the rest of the group staring in confusion as he does a lap or two after every battle lol

The teapot is a kind of easter egg for people who do 3D modeling. Why a tea pot ? Because that specific kind of tea pot was used by some scientist to use for calculations because it was simple yet it had curves which make it a good example model. Think of it like "Hello World" in programming.

The specific teapot actually does not have a grip handle on the top and has different geometry, but this still might be the case

It's funny that you mention birds with no eyes. I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but the birds look a lot like crows. Later in the game there is a question about the kanji for bird and the kanji for crow. The difference? The kanji for crow lacks a bar across the symbol that alludes to the eyes of a bird. Since crows are black, their eyes are hard to see. Ergo, crows lack the eye bar in their kanji. Almost makes sense that they wouldn't give crows eyes in the game.

That's is interesting, but it's more like just the fact that the camera won't really see the birds or close enough to notice they dont have eyes. and the texture doesn't help

The Interrogation Room is actually NOT the same Interrogation room you see when talking with Sae. It's actually a completely different one used near the end of the game, only shown from one angle (with the mirror off screen.)
It's cool to see a modern game using prerendered backgrounds like that. Makes me nostalgic for the PS1 Final Fantasy and Resident Evil games.
It's been two years since your comment but I reach this video searching for disgaea out of bounds discoveries. Could not find it so I went with persona instead :)
Terxture issue in the train station overhead. Yes that's a uvw mapping error. I've pulled the data from the disc too. So I know that for a fact. There's no data compression error there at all. Also the large white boxes are for light baking since the textures are 1 sided and not 2 sided. So the lighting would be completely wrong during instances when they choose to use real-time lighting.

Ah, they must be crows then. The difference between "bird" and "crow" when written in Japanese is that the crows don't have the kanji for "eye," because of their dark color, it almost looked like they don't have eyes.
I point this out because it's actually one of the school questions *in* the game, so it's very possibly intentional.

Great episode! I had no idea some of the backgrounds were pre-rendered, ala classic Resident Evil. Would love to see episodes on some of the other Persona games in the future like Persona 3 or Persona 4 Golden.

What’s amazing to me is that in most Boundary Breaks everything looks bad off-screen. But Persona 5’s off-screen stuff looks so damn beautiful.
Fun fact about Shibuya station, its accurately layedout to the real shibuya station. So going down the central staircase really takes you to the ticketing booth, and there really is a smoothie stand (though they happen to be open everyday of the week and not just Sunday).

the crows not having eyes might be a reference to one of the classroom questions that took place in i think october or november. it was about the kanji letter for “bird” and “crow”, and that “crow” has one less line or something representing their eyes, since it’s hard to see on their black bodies. or maybe it was just a mistake that i’m looking too deeply into.

Since you just called it "Spider-Man", I am going to assume you mean the game released in 1982 for the Atari 2600, since that was the first one to use that exact title. That would truly be a first for the series, though I personally would rather see the PlayStation 1 Spider-Man game from 2000.
