About arsenic in rice, that's why in asian countries the traditional way is to rinse rice the day before (and old school is to throw the rice as you rinse it back into the rice strainer and keep mixing it like I saw in an old Japanese movie lol) . A lot of modern people are too lazy though and don't rinse their rice properly... (the process should take several hours or a day) also they buy horrible quality processed rice.
People in asian countries have to eat rice almost everyday so hopefully they do traditional techniques to reduce the amount of arsenic.
I also think activated charcoal can reduce arsenic or heavy metals in the body.
What I like to do is make my own staple food (mixed with Quinoa, a little brown rice, lentils, and sometimes buckwheat, and I try to limit the amount of rice when I can.)
I like to make my own protein cookies too by baking buckwheat, peas, baking soda, cinammon, and other ingredients :)

Best video I've seen on plant protein powder yet. You explained processed foods so well. I like to mix that pea powder with a bunch of blended veggies and fruits for my workout. Yes its liquidized so it's gonna spike my blood sugar quicker, but not bad because I am using it all for the workout.

I was thinking about buying some organic pea protein powder from Swanson because there is only one ingredient in their protein powder and that is yellow peas. My question is if the lectins are destroyed in the processing of the protein powder? Just trying to understand how they would make a protein powder. Would they soak the peas beforehand then dry it out and process it? I hope you understand this question.

Affiliate links don’t work on iphone phone safari....it might still give you referrer pay but the first thing it tells you to do is to download the app. So then I download the app and there’s definitely no discount applied by thrive. Not only that but when you follow the instructions and get the app then you are no longer on the product page but in the main app so then I have to close that window and come back and look at the product description.
Hopefully you can get thrive to fix this!
