- In the super smash bros series there are a ton of different types of moves but i think my favorite are the spikes and meteor smashes. These all send your opponent at crushing downward angles often leading to a stock. My question for today is though, which of ssbu's spikes and meteor smashes is the best and which is the worst? Well today we'll be looking at every character's spikes in the game from Mario's forward air to Captain falcon's down air, every single one will be ranked. So join me as I rank all 120 of super smash bros ultimate's spikes and meteor smashes from the worst to the best based on hype and how fun they are to use!

Ridley’s up b spike is literally one of my favorite moves in a fighting game, period. You feel like such a badass pulling this off, especially when you’re on your last stock.
Its surprisingly easy to get kills with once you get the hang of it. Really strong as well. Doing it into the ledge lets you live too

What's funny is, Peach & Daisy's down tilt is actually one of the best *moves* on the entire list, even if it's a ground spike. Incredible combo starter. As Ivysaur shows, though, this is definitely not a competitive viability list :)
Yep, they're definitely hurt by what this list was meant to be because on stage their down tilt is SUPER good, but this was mainly for offstage unfortunately for them

I’d put bayos way higher in the tier list cause her recovery is insane so she can always get back from it, it is stylish as hell, it has a spike hitbox active the whole way down, and she can combo into it

30:50 On Dedede's up special, you only have control over the move during the startup, once the move actually starts the movement is locked in place. So the degree you tilt the control stick before the move comes out determines how far you move.
Forgot wario's first part of down air. Even tho its weak, including pyra's weak up b spike means this one should of made it too.
Byleth’s up special works really well if you let go from hanging on ledge (normally it’s extremely hard to hit an opponent close to ledge cause it’ll always grab it). So it can lead to some cool ledge trump scenarios, or just regular edgeguarding
Wii Fit’s Side Special handled Steve like packages from UPS.

Zss has 2 flip jump spikes. The footstool hit box which is super lame but the spike one that you get for actually doing the attack should be much higher imo. It’s super satisfying to land and it looks super sick. Its also one of the strongest spikes in the game

If I'm being honest, this is probably your best video yet. It's very well edited, it's funny, and the fact that you ranked literally every spike in the game is crazy. It's also great that you didn't rank the spikes based solely on their viability in a competitive setting, it makes the ranking much more interesting in my opinion. I'm also glad that you didn't just rank Rosalina last for the sake of it. I'm not even a big fan of her, but that joke was honestly getting kinda tedious.

I am a K Rool main, and I can confirm that while down air is fun, nothing compares to his back air for me. I usually get it from catching jumps at the ledge or if somebody decides to chase me offstage (bad idea when he has his back to you by the way), and either way it's so funny

Okay so funny story with that clip. Yesterday I was watching this on my Switch at around 8 o'clock and around 10 minutes into the video I feel asleep, though I woke up not too much longer after that and side note: the Switch dock is little finicky where sometimes it'll disconnect. So when I woke up, the dock was disconnected and then I just heard the FNAF 2 music from this Ice Climbers part and it genuinely scared me. (Which is probably the only time anything FNAF related has scared me, and it wasn't even a video about FNAF)
