    I was riding with my buddy today. We both took this wet rock roll and both my tires lost grip immediately (I crashed). I was on the ground watching him creep down this steep ass rock without skidding at all. He was using these tires.

    Damn young Man, that was intense. Amazing how you gave your honest opinion about these tires, and I love it! Continental rubber compound has been so underrated for far too long. Thank you again Sir, for such a rad video. Subscribed!!!

    I had enduro casing Kryptotal on the rear and slashed my sidewall first ride out. Not sure if it was bad luck, managed to repair it though. The grip and rolling resistance is very good.

    i'm thinking of running a Xenotal enduro casing on the rear, and krypto trail casing on the front, for bike parks. hardpack, dry and FAST! xenotal is even faster than the krypto, with braking traction prolly just as good.

      @@mrpercussive you might be fine. They were grippy and there like a maxxis exo+ for casing wise. I heard the dh ones don’t last long because the compound is so soft.

      Ok these are better than the Maxxis
      I’m not kidding I Noticed it right away and yes of course they are brand new tires but I also had a brand new pair of Max just as well about two weeks ago and I did not notice this intense grip. Even technical thrashing and landing off of jumps felt better

    • @deverenfogle3201
      @deverenfogle3201 ปีที่แล้ว

      If it’s still any interest. The Continental tires are much softer and stickier. In fact the super soft sticks to your finger when you touch it. Also, grip over wet roots is insane with Conti casings in general. The tire that gets over looked, but may be the best in the refresh is the Xynotal. Ran it all summer in the rear and never lost grip or spun out on tech climbs.

  • @lukemtb6800
    @lukemtb6800 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I run the super soft front and rear, they are by far the softest and most grippy tyre I have ever tried. The rear in a super soft only lasted 5 full days of riding though

    • @bikingwithryan5968

      So not worth getting the super soft when trail riding and bike park laps and some racing too?

    • @hannes6114
      @hannes6114 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bikingwithryan5968 in the front it's a good idea i think, but rear not so much. I have had a mm soft front for around a year and the wear isn't bad at all. But I also don't ride that much and don't weigh that much and im also not the most aggressive front braker. So should last more than 5 days - still I only have the soft version.

    • @hannes6114
      @hannes6114 ปีที่แล้ว

      Soft definitely will hold up for a good while, grip imo is still very good, i almost never slip with them, only when I put too little weight up front

  • @byronswogger
    @byronswogger ปีที่แล้ว

    Problem is they only come in max 2.4 in the front.
    I like running 2.6 in front and 2.4 rear. Gives you more cornering traction and more playful around corners.
