I recently got a deal on the Logitech G PRO Racing Wheel and what I can say is for most people new to direct drive wheels is that the 11nm of force it offers at the top end is over kill for most casual players, I have mine set at 6.5nm currently I did try it at 8nm & the full 11nm and oh boy it felt like my arms way getting a good work out after a few lap of the full Watkins Glen International, if your looking for a direct drive wheel thats simple to setup on PC and supports console then its definatly worth the money, some older games you may have to manually set up the game for the wheel but they offer a legacy mode that allows the wheel to simulate being a G923 wheel to the PC/Console that helps get it working in games that support the G923 but not the G Pro Wheel just wish they included an option for G29/G920 for higher compatibility with older titles.

Just for information my friends t248 force feedback only lasted 3 weeks, he got a new one but still it feels so bad that you spend money on something that breaks easily or quick
Any opinions on the thrustmaster leather edition which is belt and the new R3 Racing wheel and pedal bundle from MOZA which is DD trying to decide between the two for Xbox both are around same price
always go DD when you get the chance its feels far smoother and you just feel like you can feel more details, i went from G29 to T300 then to a DD G Pro Wheel, dont waste money on a belt drive wheel in 2023
I own a TMX and after a month, the force feedback is broken and unfixable. The wheel works but not the feedback. Was great while it worked but with Thrustmaster refusing to fix it, I would not recommend.
long sessions will some times over heat the motor and kill it this common issue, thrustmaster updated its firmwares on its wheel bases so you can enable a mode that forces the fan to constantly be on instead of only activating when it gets hot.
I honestly would not reccomend the T300 wheel base I have repared a few and some have been unreparable as the plastic gears on the worm drive gear have been destroyed beyound repare and I have contacted Thrustmaster direct and they do not offer replacments for that part and I have yet to see anyone make replacments third party, the issue is if you are a person that wants to use the the wheel a lot and for long periodes YOU MUST open up the wheel base case and make sure the lubrication on the worm gear drive has not dried out as if it does the plastic gears will get destroyed and you wheel will then start to fail calibration and be unusable, when the wheel is working its fantastic but once you ever open one you realise how cheap the thing is built and not at all built to last years, I would go as far as to say the Logitech G29/G920 while using older tech is built far better on the inside and is actually built to last to the point I have seen people still using the older G27/25 that runs the same style tech.
@@IntoTheCrawlspace Honestly G29/G920 or G923 for beginers I have yet to try the thrustmaster t150/248 yet myself but I can not honestly reccomend the t300 for long term use myself.
I find it hilarious he went TMX, not the TMX pro. The TMX pro has way better peddles for 30 bucks more. Also, I don't think people here are watching this video for 1000 dollar rigs. You missed some great wheels, but I guess that's what you get whit chat gp. The T248 is losing value because it's over heating and the special ffb is only usable in a very few games.

I've had the tmx for years and keep it at 75%. Racing for along time with force feedback to the max can get very tiring
