Awesome, thanks for this. I will be doing this on my PS3 as the hard drive is basically full 😂. I installed too many games from discs using multi man so I ran out of space so fast

@@anonymousprofessor8866 I know you didn't ask me but, in response to your question, I would recommend a harddrive upgrade. Make sure you back up your files on usb. Also, an above comment Blaine answered a similar question about the dangers of this pkg.
Yeah but there's a reason it reserves that space I'm sure lol. It's probably the buffer where the games load up to or something while you play them. Like uses that space for where games sections get loaded to while you play them or something. I mean it's allocating that space for something. Why assume it can simply be taken away and it's not needed? I dunno. I'd look into that first.

I have 112gb free space in 250gb hard but if I copy games In there they will automatically stoped if I delete same game from my hard drive then games will copying easily but my question is why if I have 112GB free space then why I need to delete games for copy games

I read that after inserting 2TB the PS3 would recognize only 1TB.

@@MartinVonReichenberg my system settings says there's 930gb of usable space with about 123gb free. So, I first had about 65gb of games on it, then I switched to CFW, and then I added about 510gb of iso file/game folders more, and finally installed whichever ones needed to be...so a 1TB HDD upgrade should be alright for you

the right is more convenient
The right side is the main hdd input/output drive. Remember Japanese read from right to left so this is natural to them.

Isn’t there a REAL reason this space is reserved for the internal PS3 HDD? Do you not run the risk of having issues? I really would love to know. This almost seems risky in the end. You could end up messing your PS3 up.

I gained 95 GB. I have a 1.5 TB PS3 internal drive-the max size drive that works in a PS3. I went from 83 GB free to 178 GB free. Wow, thank you. One of the better hacks I've seen.
Maybe one day someone can figure out a hack where I'll be able to stick a 4 TB drive in there (inside the machine).

Does anyone knows how make a clone of PS3 HDD 120Gb to 500Gb already with the jailbreak firmware and not loose it? I know with the normal way, changing the disk and the PS3 sony will format and download the original firmware and install it...
I know this isn't related to the video, but I had nowhere else to ask this. Recently followed one of your tutorials to get Hen on my PS3. I just wanted that to run my japanese copy of Nightmare Creatures. I though I could get through the region lock with just that. Then I tried saving the ISO file from the disk with MultiMan. The ISO files just don't run for some reason. Do you have any idea on why is that?

Okay I'm fixing to jailbreak my ps3 but was looking for a little more information before i start. I have the PS3 slim 160gb now and wanted to upgrade the HD as well to a 1TB. Then I got to thinking" why upgrade if I'm going to buy a external drive as well? What is the purpose of upgrading the internal drive if I'm going to buy a external drive for it? Doesn't all games install to the external drive?

Do NOT this do not do this!
If you're using PS3 hen I'm not sure about the custom firmware cuz the ps3 I have Now does not support CFW only h e n, it will delete your hen activator and you will have to reinstall it, plus it will delete a few other things.

@@ibz132 you can try install hen without it if you going to make "install from scratch" make fast fromat and install hfw+hen again.
Don’t listen to him (Alair) he doesn’t know what he’s talking about, go into your toolbox > firmware settings > scroll down too HEN OPTIONS > HEN 4.88 options and enable hen from there. You don’t need to start from scratch idk what this dude is telling you..
