    Great tutorial. I have been stuck in an apartment since May 2021. The saving grace is that I have a garage and I purchased an AA01 stock DS. It was crippled with totally crumbled bushings and 5 year old batteries. With the encouragement of your videos, new bushings; 2" front extension plate 215-50x12 wheels /Tires; coil overs in the rear. New dash; steering wheel; volt meter, MCOR, it went from 12 to 16 mph. When I move to a golf community with 18 mph max paved roads, no hills, I figure anything above 20 mph will be great. So I'll be watching for the progress on these carts.

    Interesting facts on the difference between the DS carts. I find the DS has more elbow room than the Precedent cart, but the Precedent is a little faster. My grandson only wants to race when he's on the Precedent and I'm on the DS😁.✌🏻

    Great vid!! Just bought a 2013 DS with the sepiks drive system. You've gave me some very helpful info. My question is when I'm not driving it, does it pull load off the batteries if I leave it in forward?

    Great information on the difference of the similar carts.
    I have a 2006 Yamaha that I'm working on. A question about changing to led light kit. The ignition and battery meter are wired into the old harness. Any suggestions on how to rewire with the new light kit would be appreciated!!
    Thank you!!

    Great video. I have an old 1983 club car that I was going to build. I picked up a used alltrax 400a controller but still have an original 36v motor. I don't want to put a lot of money in unless I could get 25mph. Any thoughts how many volts I could push through that motor, some people say you can easily push 48v through them. Also what battery setup would you recommend? Keep up the awesome videos.

    New sub here nice job on the video, I have a 04 DS with 600Amp DC navitas controller with a 4 KV motor and would love for you to show us more about the relay to stop the battery drain or is that only for the non sepex carts
    also my dog owns the cart mostly it cant move without him so I have come up with a cart name Separately excited!
    I have also added a LSD "posi" by hillyard and need to find the thrust washer to increase the side load it may be a club part but am hoping you or someone could guide me to one as in the graziano there is only room for one
    Cheers will be looking out for more!

    For those that have an AC conversion eventually in mind, a pre 2008 / non-IQ DS will require you to swap in an IQ harness first. Further, the older carts will not fit the 5kW motors (11.5” long) without a lift, possibly even the 4kW (10” long) motors. You can see in this great video the newer IQ carts have way more clearance for bigger motors.
    Thank you Ryan for all of your awesome videos. Been following you for a year now and am finally getting some knowledge built up lol

      I have a '91 DS 36v with the SGC 6" lift. I want to upgrade to the Plum Quick AC 5kw conversion kit. I know i need to upgrade from 36v to 48v but is there anything else I might need or does the kit have everything I need for the upgrade?

    • @SonicFury62
      @SonicFury62 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@marineVaviator you’ll also need to swap in an IQ harness. Make sure your kit includes higher gauge battery cables and an upgraded 400a/48v solenoid as well. If you ever want to reduce that lift the motor will no longer fit and you’ll need to swap in newer style axle tubes from an 08+ cart.

    • @marineVaviator
      @marineVaviator ปีที่แล้ว

      @Dusty Smith thankfully i love my lift kit so i don't plan on lowering it but it's good to know about the solenoid upgrade and the iq harness. However what would the iq harness connect to?

    • @SonicFury62
      @SonicFury62 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@marineVaviator you need to swap it into your cart. I honestly don’t know what’s entailed there my cart was already an IQ cart. I’m sure there’s tutorials Google could point you too.

    Great video man, is there a way to speed up the stock motor on the white one, I’ve got the same one that I’m doing up, I’ve got the lithium iron phosphate battery for it.

    • @Fentertainment
      @Fentertainment  ปีที่แล้ว

      I just released the alltrax video on it today. Since the white one is a series cart it doesnt have a speed sensor. So you can replace it with a aftermarket one. I will be doing that soon with mine, Hopefully next video.

    Question about the red ds. I have that same cart and am debating on putting one of the 48v kits from big battery or uno on it, so do I need to bypass the obc? I want to put the plug where the receptacle is now so I don’t have to raise the seat when I want to charge. Everything on the cart is stock btw.
