Only thing I did differently was drill out the screws on the back of the body that rest under the plastic piece. Didn't rip the body that way. They eventually popped right off. Great video helped a lot!
I own a 1997 DS Club Car and I have not found anyone that can tell me what kind of parts are on this. I bought a brand new solenoid and this thing still will not move. Right next to the solenoid was another bigger looking solenoid. I am asking people on Facebook and no one can tell me. I bought a 1997 Club Car "repair Manual' and it is just a basic owners manual and does not tell you about specific parts. I can't post pictures on here I see....
Is it a resistor style cart? I would give Travis or Ryan a call at golfcartsmodified.com. Tell them fix it now sent you and send them the email of your photos. They will absolutely get you in the right direction to fix your cart.
Nah. No need for all that. If you try and drill out a bit and bolt they free spin. Just easier to vice grip them off with the body out of the way. That part always gets covered. Add a 1” washer and done.
Makes a lift install and rear shock replacement much easier doing it this way. Worth it. 👌🏻

Where did you find the replacement body? I have looked all over online to find one that fits. I have a 2007 DS Club Car and can't find one.
