Fun video to watch. I haven’t done as many as you , but have done a dozen or so lithium conversion carts. I really relate to how excited you got when you turn the key and it moves when your done. I love that filling . Twice they didn’t run, both were ezgo’s. The problem was the charging plug wiring. But always a learning experience when you figure it out. Keep them coming, what ever you do to it I’ll be watching.
A slam cart or air ride would be sweet. You might wanna try the car wheels from pic n pull as a budget item and interesting. Maybe re-arch the wheel wells for clearance. How about notching the rear body to set in a pick-up style bed
Great video as usual! Wonder why you weren't referring to the wiring diagram at the start to see what was missing and what wires go where. I recently bought a led front light and turn signal bar for my EZ GO TXT. It was susposed to be plug and play but the turn signals would not work. Called Golf Kart King tech support and they did not have an answer. Got the wiring diagram out and figured out what the 3rd part light bar manufacturer did wrong. Made the changes and everything worked. If all else fails, the wiring diagram is a time saver.
Love your channel man, especially since you have a lot of DS content. I’m sure you’re busy but was wondering if you could make a video regarding “what to check when buying used electric golf cart” for newbies like me 🙌🏻 Keep up the great work man !
i have a clup car ds, i recently changed out my lead acid batteries for lithium its 48v my problem is i pulled the old obc out, the problem is i cant get the cart to go. ive seen on some of the installs you have to butt splice 2 wires from the old obc but i cant figure out where those wires go, i know im being kinda vague but im new to the golf car world, by the way the cart was running before i installed the lithium batteries
I just got a 05 48v Club Car DS IQ in about the same shape. I ordered a Falcon Elite kit you recommend in another video. I've never had a 48v cart before and I don't know much about what I'm doing but I'm hoping I can get it to run. I'm hoping your videos will help me figure out what I'm doing. 😅 Any help you or your viewers can give is very welcome?!
Your channel is great. I just moved into a golf cart area. It would be great to see it lowered with plum quick motor. Let’s see it do a burn out maybe a few donuts.
Hey man thanks to your enjoybot video i upgraded my 2000 ezgo txt to the 3 12 volt lithium set up. Im in upstate sc and it made a big difference. Thanks @fentertainment
While driving around my cart, which is identical to the one your restoring makes a musical beeping sound occasionally.I can’t find this warning anywhere in the owners manual, would you have any idea what it may indicate?
@Fentertainment have you ever come across a club car ds iq that burns up controllers? We have one that has burned up 2 controllers, the last one didn't last a year. Could the problem lie in the computer (iq)? I have another that I bypassed the computer in order to charge the batteries and haven't had any trouble out of it so far. Sorry to bother you, but this is frustrating.
Completely off-topic, but is that a Talaria Sting or Sur Ron e-bike in the background there??? I'm into both carts and ebikes, so it caught my attention!
Slammed and bag......i just bought an IQ last month and that exactly what i wann do .. we can do it together. Like it was said in another comment not very much info on lowering a cart but im gonna do my best
I would like to see you do a small battery conversion. Lots of golf carts are used for golfing and other purposes that don't require a lot of range. This would bring the conversion to lithium into reach for a lot of people.
How small are you thinking? Those 2 epoch batteries sells as a kit for $1500 with my coupon and includeds a charger, dc converter, gauge, distribution block and cables and will run for 20-30 miles.
Thanks Ryan. Can't really say. I am from Canada and the batteries are much more expensive although coming down. I have a 56 Ahr in mine and it does all I need and more. Let's just say a "budget build".
Hey man I really enjoy your videos I live in SC too. What part of SC do you live in? I’m in Greenville area and yes it’s been extremely hot! Sell that thing and move to the other project.
@@Fentertainment awesome just arrived to cane bay, i think ill be looking for an electric six seater club car based on what ive seen. What is the difference between a golf cart and a low speed vehicle?

You want burn outs, that won't happen with a DC motor or without going to a lot of voltage.

I get giddy too when something works for the first time.
I say trick it out and flip it. I love the low rider truck idea.
That Harbor freight multimeter is the best one I’ve owned

Hey brother, I have a good rolling chassis, DS, nothing but a motor under the seat. Is it worth rebuilding? I hate to just trash it
Yes its worth rebuilding. Most of the times you will swap the motor and controller anyways. This is how I buy them so cheap NON RUNNING!
