Brian Flores coached a JV offense last year. With awful offensive coaches and CO-OCs! McDaniel is an OL and running game specialized offensive coach, with an OL oriented OC in Frank Smith along with a new OL coach in Applebaum AND keeping last year's OL coach. Tua is being given all the tools Flores couldn't/wouldn't.
And Rich Eisen's Jets are doing what this off-season?

No one was making excuses for him lol his numbers aren’t bad and he wasn’t asked to throw the ball 50 times a game . Also with the coach being a run first guy I doubt Tua will have a BIG stat year but I do think he will lead the league in completion %

Dolphins now have a top 3 receiving core in the NFL so there's no excuse for Tua not to succeed.
The offensive line has been the worst for his 2 seasons. Never had much to do with the wrs. We picked up the best tackle but hes injury prone. So well see. That line needs more work though

As a pats fan I don't disagree but I do. We were what 4-5 plays away from starting with one lose. McDaniels is no longer around to try hold Mac back. Someone was worried about opening up the playbook with a rookie QB for some reason. We get some linebackers that can run we will be fine. Plus the dolphins will find some way to mess this up.

Everyone is talking about all the awesome weapons phins acquired. But the best move they made was signing armstead and connor williams. And I think the williams's deal is the best value signing in the free agency imo. To put in context brandon schreff signed a 3yr 49.5M deal annual avg of 16m.Connor signed 2yr 14m annual avg 7m. And he was graded higher last yr and more durable than scherff. They can give all the best weapons to tua but it wont matter if the line cant hold up.

@@joshy.josh.11 Hill Averages 400 yards a year in YAC, that's only like a quarter of his yards.. Tua needs a deep ball for this to work out like it should. If you can't hit Hill over the top a few times a year then defenses aren't going to respect your ability to go deep and cut down the field of play.
What happens if none of these mega deals work out? Teams are trading years of future draft choices and taking massive cap hits for an opportunity to maybe not make the playoffs?

Thanks to the salary cap and financial greed of team owners, at some point there's not enough money to pay top tier players and GM's are forced to trade them off for draft picks to get young players to sign to a rookie contract.
Teams are required to spend 89% of their cap every year. The owners can’t hide money away. They have to spend it per the CBA.

so it was reported KC was in talks to resign Hill to an extension. So are we assuming these talks came before Devantae signed and once KC saw that they couldnt commit that type of money? Wouldnt their deal have been in this neighborhood though before Adams signed in Vegas? I feel like there is more to this.
